Brannan, Marty Golden, Peter Abbate, Carlos Menchaca, Vincent Gentile, Max
Rose, Ross Barkan and Andrew Gounardes verbally beat-up on a group
of good sisters, whose order had once been referred to as the “Walking
Sisters” when founded in Dublin by Catherine Mc Auley, and who have been active
in this country since 1843, and in the Diocese of Brooklyn since 1862…..
Obviously, after years of pent-up rage, no doubt for most of them
going back to real or imagined hurts in grammar school, a bi-partisan (actually
multi-partisan) group of politicians of all stripes have seized upon an
opportunity to go on the hunt for some Catholic nuns --- or at
least one small group of them, The Sisters of Mercy --- with
possibly much more mayhem being promised in the future
And what were the sins of these, now-obvious-to-the- politicos, miscreant, non- religious and greedy women ---
they intend to leave this part of Brooklyn, and they’re trying to sell THEIR property
at a fair market value. (You know, like most sensible people would do under the
same circumstances)…..

people are stepping on their soap boxes demanding the resignation of
Assemblywoman Pamela Harris, the indicted politician of the 46 AD who has been
a no-show in Albany and is still collecting a legislative salary….
As
her former opponent, and a woman who is passionate and protective of her
community, I clearly brought to light that there were questionable financial
activities going on throughout the campaign, but very few would listen to my
message and even doubted it's credence. My findings about her and many other
local political activities have gone unnoticed and deliberately ignored,
especially by many in the local Press, some of whom have encouraged disparaging
and demeaning columns to be written about me and my candidacies, distracting
the voter from the real issues at hand….
One
would expect me to be the first to demand her resignation,
However, I do respect the constitution and believe that every American citizen deserves due process. Everyone is entitled to their day in court. So let Pamela Harris have her fair say….

The nuns in question have lived there, rent-free, for a century. They have never paid any taxes on the property.
Any profits should from the sale of it should be dispensed to fund local homeless shelters, food pantries, or legal fees and restitution from the numerous child molestation scandals that have mushroomed over the past few decades.

Although the Angel Guardian site is shutting down, the Sisters of Mercy will remain active elsewhere in Brooklyn. In any case, the timetable for the shutdown of all operations at Angel Guardian is not a new one, and it had been widely known for some time --- and even the early termination of the lease to the Catholic Charities operated Senior Program was completely lawful and clearly allowed within the shutdown plan announced a long time ago. It should also be noted that when the shutdown of Sister Of Mercy operations at Angel Guardian was finalized, there was widespread praise for the very same order of nuns for all the good work that they did. What a fickle bunch of jackals are the virtually same crew of politicos, who a couple of years ago praised these very same nuns and now attempt to pillory them publicly.
As for any "secret deal" to dispose of the property, it is no more or less secret than any other deal to buy and sell property; and nobody among the gaggle of complainers has cited any lawful restriction on the Sisters of Mercy's right to sell to whomever they choose, and under such terms and conditions as they see fit; and then using the full proceeds of that sale for any lawful charitable and/or business purpose consistent with their existing tax status and/or even any lawfully changed tax status, if that might occur.
There are still thousands of Sisters of Mercy, around the United States and around the world. In addition, there are large numbers of lay associates that work in Mercy Houses or elsewhere doing work for the "Mercy International Association" (Mercy World)..... Today, the Sisters of Mercy, through the Mercy International Association, use their resources to respond to issues of global poverty, presently demonstrated in the massive displacement of persons worldwide..... One can easily assume that any proceeds from the sale of the Angel Guardian site by the current owners could easily be absorbed, like a cup of water in a desert, by the local, nationwide and international operations of the Sisters of Mercy.
Question: Why do Nuns always travel in groups of two?

DATELINE: THE FINAL DAYS OF THE 2017 GENERAL ELECTION IN THE MIDDLE OF THE 46TH AD
I just came back from the investiture and swearing-in, today, of a Democrat elected to the NYC Civil Court in November 2017. According to my source, who sat directly across the table from me for these very important goings-on, one of the Democrat District Leaders in the 46th AD actively worked to get Republican-Conservative John Quaglione elected to the NY City Council instead of the Democrat running for that office, Justin Brannan.
In addition, it is at least a fair assumption that Jerry Kassar, who was running the late campaign operations for Quags, ordered an extra contingent of his Conservatives and some Republicans into certain areas of the 46th AD; however this otherwise inexplicable diversion of resources was not primarily to pull-out more Conservative and Republican voters in the 46th AD, but instead it was to provide cover for the 46th AD Democratic Leader's pro-Quaglione operation aimed at getting conservative leaning ethnic Italian Democrats to vote for John Quaglione and not Justin Brannan.
Farfetched ????? I DON'T THINK SO.....
Ask any Brannan operative, who's in the know, if they heard similar stories here and there..... And I'm sure they'll tell you that they have.

8:36, you need a reality check. Capano did all the exact same stuff in 2017 and he barely beat out Lucretia in the primary, coming in a bad, way behind Liam, THIRD place in a four person race. Then he backed out on his handshake deal with Q, Liam and Kassar, and continued running on the Reform line because of some secret deal with Sliwa that Q, Liam and Kassar were never told about, and once in the 2017 general election, Bob Capano got damn near next to nothing on that very highly valued Reform (not really a party) line.
Bob Capano has a well documented track record that completely trumps his mostly spin resume, high speed social media and press release operation. And his record is this: getting great pres in losing race - after losing race - after losing race - after losing race because Bob never listened to O'Brien or Kassar anybody else that knew anything about running real races. Why will what he's doing now as the REFORM PARTY CHAIRMAN be any different than what he's done in the past? (Even though that is mostly a rhetorical question, if anybody thinks they have ANY ANSWER, please, tell everybody.)
