Capano and most of the rest of the 2017 43rd Council District Candidates work Monday's CB-10 meeting

One Republican and several Democrat candidates were in attendance  ---  Folks like:  Bob Capano, Justin Brannan Kevin Peter Carroll and Peter Abbate

McCabe and Quaglione were AWOL  ---  giving more of an indication that they aren’t running

Virtually all of those mentioned as candidates for the 2017 race for the 43rd City Council District were at the Community Planning Board 10 meeting on Monday evening.
That means Liam McCabe and John Quaglione have most likely taken themselves out of the running,  because they were notorious by their absence.
As has often been the case at recent gatherings,  Bob Capano was accompanied by former Brooklyn GOP County Chairman Craig Eaton.   They worked the room in tandem;  and, to all outward appearances, they were greeted in a friendly manner by most of the Bay Ridge activists in attendance, many of whom engaged them in lengthy conversations about politics and upcoming races.
The whole panoply of those mentioned as likely 2017 Democratic Party candidates for the 43rd Council seat were there as well  ---  including Justin Brannan, Kevin Peter Carroll and Peter Abbate.
One does have to wonder if McCabe’s and Quaglione’s bosses have given them the order to “STAND DOWN”  from any moves toward the 2017 nomination for the Council seat for Bay Ridge and the neighboring communities.

Is Capano responsible for Linda Sarsour losing her County Committee Primary on September 13th?

The Community Board is a waste of time

On 9-20-16, there is only one candidate actively running in the 43rd City Council District, and it's Bob Capano

All these "heavyweights" running for City Council and nobody is running against Golden?

Cuomo put the word out early: no one is allowed to run against Marty Golden.

If you look at Liam's Facebook page, you'll know that he isn't running for anything anymore. Especially the part where he says things like he'll need some getting used to after posting pictures of himself acting like a gang punk.

Liam has never owned a home, never owned a car, and does not even drive.

Put Quaglione's, McCabe's, and even Capano's weight together still does not match or exceed Justin Brannan. He is huge these days.

Kevin Carroll will get 80% of the vote against Justin.

UPDATE: THE "DOES YOUR CHEWING GUM LOSE ITS FLAVOR ON THE BED-POST OVERNIGHT ???" EDITION

"SECOND VERSE -- SAME AS THE FIRST"

ANOTHER COMMUNITY MEETING WITH BROOKLYN BOB CAPANO THERE -- AND -- JOHN QUAGLIONE & LIAM MCCABE NOT THERE

This time it was the 68th PCT Council meeting on Wednesday evening.....

Too bad, because some GOP types wanted to ask Quaglione if he thought his boss's lack of discipline and big mouth might have endangered his fellow New Yorkers and even hurt national security over the weekend just past.

Kevin Carroll lost his Co-District Leader this summer.

According to the Board of Elections website results, on Primary Day he lost all his Delegates and Alternate Delegates to the Judicial Convention, and he lost 3/4 of his County Committee races.

Kevin would get destroyed in a primary against Justin or anyone.

Did it ever occur to any of you that Golden is simply extremely popular. Get out a little more and you would find out. You all are such a big deal that you never, ever use your names.

The only people that might say something like that are in Marty Golden's close group of insiders, but only a few of them believe it's true.

Marty's rise stopped a while ago. Everyone recognizes he is now on a downward trend, and that may explain the buzz about him seeking a safe City Council seat. Albany is suddenly much too hot.

Ever since he was a young man, Marty's whole life has been about the "grass" and the "pad" --- nothing has ever changed
