My guess is like all great crimes the players are FBI informants. Informants who had direct contact with Trump or a buffer who will flip on the orange man. There is no federal felony murder statute, however, the feds do have a provision if a death occurs during an insurrection that even a minor player will face 20 years in prison for each death.
