Editorial Announcement --- There will be no additional reports on the appearances by any Dickensian or any other kind(s) of Christmas Spirits on this blog for Christmas 2018

In spite of a suggestion to the contrary at the conclusion of my prior post,  there will be no "...  STORY FOR ANOTHER DAY.....  MAYBE AS TOLD BY 'THE GHOST OF CHRISTMAS FUTURE' OR SOME OTHER GHOST ON CHRISTMAS EVE...."

If there might be any visitations by Christmas Spirits or other ghostly specters at the Vetrano household this year,  as far as this blog is concerned, that will be a private matter.

Hence, my planned "Stave I"  ---  "Stave II"  ---   "Stave III"    ---  "Stave IV"  ---  and "Stave V" will be kept in the can. for the foreseeable future.  Perhaps,  they might never see the light of day.  However, I am relatively certain  that the factual components of my projected Christmas Eve 2018 presentations will be re-worked; and they are likely to appear in due course during other feature posts involving the Vetrano murder case,  which should be penned and published by me on this site during 2019.

I was wondering why John Gotti was not a suspect. Gotti said he knew her well and he was arrested 2 days after her murder.

Hey, it's Christmas, damn it!
Try to be nice for a change.
On this feast of the birth of the Infant Jesus, try to remember that everybody was a little infant once; and back when everybody was an infant, nobody would have picked out the person they would become as an adult, good, bad or indifferent.
So, have yourself a Merry Little Christmas now, by Gumm.

Yule or Yuletide is a festival observed by the historical Germanic peoples. Scholars have connected the Wild Hunt, the god Odin, and the pagan Anglo-Saxon Mōdraniht.

Hoping everyone enjoys the Yuletide spirit!

Frank Costanza: Many Christmases ago, I went to buy a doll for my son. I reached for the last one they had, but so did another man. As I rained blows upon him, I realized there had to be another way.

1. The Festivus Pole: The tradition begins with an unadorned aluminum pole, praised for its "very high strength-to-weight ratio." The pole was chosen in opposition to the of highly decorated, commercialized Christmas trees, because it is very low-maintenance, and most impotantly because "tinsel is distracting."

2. The Airing of Grievances: At the beginning of the Festivus dinner, each participant tells friends and family all the times they have disappointed him or her the past year. As quoted by Frank Costanza: "I've got a lot of problems with you people, and now you're going to hear about it!"

3. Festivus dinner: In "The Strike," a celebratory dinner is shown on the evening of Festivus prior to the Feats of Strength.

4. The Feats of Strength: After the dinner, the head of the household tests his or her strength against one participant of the head's choosing. Festivus is not considered over until the head of the family has been pinned. However, a participant may be allowed to decline to attempt to pin the head of the household only if they have something better to do instead.

7:18 needs something better to do instead.

8:10 can go celebrate Kwanzaa.

Anonymous said...

You mean Chanukah

Anonymous said...

I meant Kwanzaa, but some of the peeps on here probably don't allow anything but Christmas to be celebrated, so it might as well be Chanukah.

It's past Christmas, so, what else do you have about Phil Vetrano?

Anonymous said...

You'll see.

New York State has now adopted the familial DNA testing because of Chanel Lewis case.

RESPONSE: THE "THAT'S ONLY SLIGHTLY CORRECT --- AND THAT'S NOT RELEVANT TO THIS OR ANY OTHER 'VETRANO-LEWIS' POST" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 10:51 AM"

IT'S ALREADY BEEN MENTIONED ON THIS BLOG THAT "FAMILIAL DNA TESTING" HAS BEEN AUTHORIZED IN NYS BY ADMINISTRATIVE BODIES WITHOUT AUTHORITY TO DO IT, AND THAT AUTHORIZATION IS BEING CHALLENGED IN THE COURTS AS AN UNLAWFUL ACT IN A PENDING CASE BY LEGAL AID

THE ONLY RELEVANT ISSUE IN THE CASE AT HAND, INVOLVING THE MURDER OF KARINA VETRANO, IS WHETHER "FAMILIAL DNA TESTING" WAS USED >>> ILLEGALLY <<< IN THE VETRANO-LEWIS CASE BY NYPD, OCME, OR QUEENS DA INVESTIGATORS AS PART OF THEIR DOG AND PONY SHOW INVESTIGATION LEADING UP TO THE DOG AND PONY SHOW TRIAL OF CHANEL LEWIS

However, focusing on the some of the broader issues raised by the use of "Familial DNA Testing" for any forensic purpose --- because of "stochasticity" and other statistical principles, "Familial DNA Testing" is even less reliable than traditional DNA testing; and given the flawed and incomplete DNA data bases now being used by law enforcement, including the FBI system, it is far more likely to result in a new brand of purely discriminatory racial profiling.

In a podcast a week before the arrest of Chanel Lewis, why did Phil Vetrano point across Batt's Creek toward the East New York neighborhood where Chanel Lewis lived, and say that he thought it would be in one of those nearby "high crime" areas where the police would find his daughter's murderer?

The interview that appeared in that podcast was surely taped well MORE than a week before Chanel Lewis's arrest for the murder of Phil Vetrano's daughter.

So Phil was right.

Anonymous said...

Could it be that the guy you call "Phil" knew that Chanel Lewis, or somebody very much like Chanel Lewis, would become a suspect before the NYPD detectives on the case ever heard of anybody named Chanel Lewis?

Anonymous said...

Somebody "very much like Chanel Lewis". I guess any black man will do.

Anonymous said...

Absolutely not! It would need to be a young black man with rage issues.

Anonymous said...

You mean an unemployed black man with no friends. Like David Paterson.

929 pm, surely, you are not serious.

I doubt that you are serious about anything

BACKFILL: THE "PLACES TO START YOUR OWN INVESTIGATION" EDITION

IF YOU ARE INTRIGUED BY THE TWISTS AND TURNS IN THE KARINA VETRANO MURDER INVESTIGATION --- AND --- THE SUBSEQUENT BOGUS PROSECUTION/ PERSECUTION OF CHANEL LEWIS --- YOU CAN DO A LOT OF INFORMATION GATHERING FROM ON-LINE SOURCES, JUST LIKE I DID

IF YOU ARE A SCEPTIC ABOUT THIS STUFF, YOU WILL LIKELY REMAIN SO --- IF YOU ARE NOT YET A SCEPTIC, ONCE YOU GET A FULLER PICTURE OF THE HANDLING OF THE KARINA VETRANO MURDER CASE (THE EARLY INVESTIGATION & THE PROSECUTION CASE AGAINST CHANEL LEWIS) YOU'LL LIKELY BECOME A SCEPTIC PRETTY QUICKLY

A good place to start your on-line search is a piece on the "AMNY.COM" web page (See "Karina Vetrano: Where the case into the Queens jogger’s death stands now... The trial ended with a hung jury" by Nicole Brown & Allison Fox, 11/20/18, amny.com/ News [https://www.amny.com/news/karina-vetrano-where-the-case-into-the-queens-jogger-s-death-stands-now-1.12190915]).

Although this coverage has a typically pro-police, pro-prosecution slant, and it is somewhat overly solicitous of the Vetrano family's playing and replaying of the victim/martyr card, that is merely the way almost all media was until the mistrial that was declared in the Chanel Lewis trial.

This article does provide a guide to all of the "AMNY.COM" coverage in this case (both this article and all of the linked amny.com articles about the Vetrano-Lewis case), which is pretty extensive.

The police arrested him for a reason.

Anonymous said...

Not this time.
The cops had lots of overtime in on the Vetrano case, if anything they needed to justify all the overtime that they had put in already with no result in six months.
The police did arrest Chanel Lewis for a reason, Lewis was the perfect patsy and the case needed to be closed before any of real evidence concerning Karina Vetrano's murder became public.

How is this for interesting timelines running parallel to the ones in the Karina Vetrano murder case? Plus, none of these cases seemed to go anywhere.

In Cleveland, Ohio, on 7/15-16, 2015, Carmine Agnello, Sr (who had strong connections to Howard Beach, Queens) was arrested and arraigned as part of a large sweep (twelve alleged perpetrators) called “Operation Goodfella” involving the illegal operation of an auto scrap metal business in Cleveland. Instrumental in “Operation Goodfella” were members of the NYPD Organized Crime Unit [an NYPD Detective was present at the Cleveland arrest of Mr. Agnello and did the perp-walk with the accused], also mentioned was the cooperation of the New York, Queens County DA’s Office.
[On 5/30-31, 2016, over a two day period in a complex and not fully described or explained series of contacts with a person later identified as the alleged murderer of Karina Vetrano, there were a series of sightings of a person identified as “Chanel Lewis” and an interaction with that “Chanel Lewis” by several members of the NYPD, including Det. Lt. John Russo, in Howard Beach and in the Rockaways.]
[Karina Vetrano was murdered in the weeds near her home in Howard Beach, Queens, on August 2, 2016.]
[Within days of Karina Vetrano’s murder in August, 2016, John Gotti III says that the NYPD were not able to protect Karina Vetrano, but that the Gottis would have been able to do so. He is quickly arrested and charged with selling drugs in the Howard Beach area.]
[On 2/3-4-5/2017, In Queens. New York, Chanel Lewis was detained, then arrested and charged with the August 2016 murder of Karina Vetrano in the weeds near her Howard Beach home.]
On Thursday, 6/1/17, Carmine Agnello, Sr. took a plea deal that only involved paying authorities money and allows him to keep running his scrap metal business in and around Cleveland [and elsewhere?]
In Queens County, New York, on 7/18-19/18, Carmine [Gotti] Agnello, Jr., of “Growing Up Gotti” fame, was arrested and arraigned on charges involving running an illegal auto scrapyard in Queens.
[On 11/20/18, a mistrial is declared in the Vetrano-Lewis murder trial in Queens County, New York.]
In Queens County, New York, on 11/28/18, Carmine [Gotti] Agnello, Jr., took a plea deal that involved a small fine and a small civil forfeiture for running an unlicensed “scrap metal pool”.

Gotti says he knows the Vetranos well.

The Vetranos say they know the Gottis. I believe them.

Karina Vetrano had a lot to say about a lot of things.
What did Karina Vetrano mean when she said that her father's highup friends and contacts couldn't protect him from somebody that had a gun to his head, but that she and her sister could?

1/1 @ 9:26, something ain't right. If Phil Vetrano is as close to the Gottis as you say, then why is he getting a rubdown with velvet gloves by the cops and the Queens DA's office instead of the third degree like Chanel Lewis got?
DA Brown has had a priapic hard-on for the Gottis ever since the murder of Albert Gelb. If Phil Vetrano is truly a 'real man' as far as John Gotti III is concerned, then why were the cops, DA Brown's operatives, and even Curtis Sliwa giving him the blue ribbon treatment during the Karina Vetrano murder investigation? He should have been near the top of the list of suspects. It don't make sense, something ain't right.
