Buzz ! Buzz !! Buzz !!! Maybe, there are too many vowels interfering with their owners' attempts at generating a deep low register BUZZ

There's more real "BUZZ" in a Frankie Valli falsetto   ---  than what's been coming out of some people fast and furious these days

Quaglione & Capano I understand  ---  they are small-fry trying to make a little noise.....    But what about Giuliani and Scaramucci ???

Too many folks are trying altogether too hard at getting themselves into the news talking about somebody else  ---  it's too bad,  actually,  because this time they all probably have something important to say about the somebody else, who is currently running for something and truly could use the boost

These guys with lots of vowels in their names are just lighting up the switchboards (that's an ironic use of an anachronism) for their good guys,  all of whom are running for something  ---  or in one instance,  one of them is saying that another is not doing that,  like it's a bad thing  (Yes,  that's the classic double-switheroo of trying to get a buzz by saying that the other guy isn't,  but should be  ---  do you follow ???)

It doesn't matter whether it a tweet or a toot or a poop, or something else on social media;  or whether it comes via E-mail,  or over a hot open mike, before or after a press conference;  or even in off the cuff remarks during a speech at an over-publicized event on Staten Island.  All of these folks are really stepping all over their own stories about their guys,  who are actually the candidates,  who aren't making enough news for/by themselves.

In case you didn't notice,  I didn't mention a single name of the people who are now running and need the boost of a good buzz kind of late in the game.  But, then again,  why would I mention any one of THEM ?????   This comment is about the buzzers not the buzzees.....

My favorite of the bunch is Giuliani  ---  can anybody guess why ?????   [Look for my reason later on in a comment below.]

I was at the Grimm fundraiser and Scaramucci was great. Grimm didnt have the resources to fight a corrupt FBI.
Donovan is so . . dull.

So what you are saying is Capano and Quaglione are irrelevant and McCabe is the only one of the 3 that matters..welcome to reality finally Gale

Wow, Capano has no marbles! The guy is being pressured by Cats to support molinaro. What happened to reform? So laughable and sad. Giambra was the perfect guy - shows he can’t think for himself and afraid of Sliwa.

Wrong again..Sliwa supports Giambra

511am sounds like more sour grapes from the Capano detractors (Quaglione & Co.) Because of Capano dominating news this weekend with his announcemenr leading charge for Molinaro at Reform Party convention this weekend with city press (including Errol Louis, Grace Rau, the Daily News, etc.) retweeting, following and covering what he's saying and doing..

Can anyone remember press caring what Q or McCabe said about endorsing anyone...wow

“RTs mean nothing.” Are the literal words from Errol Louis bio on Twitter. Capano has a fetish for thinking he is relevant with 5,000 press releases a day. The Ridge Democrats humor him, but laugh (I’m witness) behind his back.

Hopefully it’s not too little too late to save his seat, but Donovan now realizes he was double crossed by the Brooklyn Cons and that Ghorra is helping Liam. That’s why Quaglione has been very vocal about supporting Donovan. For his part, Donovan has been reaching out to everyone in the Brooklyn GOP, stay tuned for some more developments that will make Jerry send out more threatening emails faster than the Cons can close the Donovan Office at the sight of a constituent who needs help.

RESPONSE: THE "NOW, DOESN'T THAT ALL JUST PROVE MY POINT" EDITION

TO: ALMOST ALL OF THE ABOVE COMMENTERS

THANK YOU, ALL !!! YOU HAVE JUST PROVED MY POINT --- TO BE A LITTLE MC CLUHEN-ESQUE ABOUT IT, ALMOST EVERYBODY ABOVE THINKS IT'S ABOUT >>> THE MESSENGER <<< AND NOT >>> THE MESSAGE <<<

EVEN THE FEW THAT MENTIONED THE NAMES OF CANDIDATES, GAVE EQUAL OR GREATER EMPHASIS TO THE MESSENGERS

FOR ALL OF YOUR ATTACKS ON A PRO LIKE GERRY O'BRIEN --- WHEN HE GETS ON A JOB, HE KNOWS THAT IT'S ALL ABOUT >>> THE MESSAGE <<< --- AND ALMOST 100% OF THE TIME THE MESSAGE IS THE CANDIDATE, EVEN IF IT'S A NEGATIVE MESSAGE ABOUT THE OPPONENT, OR PLAIN OLD FUND RAISING

Capano, Quaglione, McCabe and even Brannan are last year's candidates --- this year they are just supporters of somebody else. As long as they stay part of the story, they really aren't helping those that they are trying to support.....

Still no guesses why Rudy G is my favorite ??? {Hint: He might be the exception that proves the rule...]

Gale,
Does Rudy remind you of a crazy Italian uncle who nobody would sit next to at Thanksgiving, except, you?

The New york Times has a story today about Grimm.

It makes the point about why would anyone vote for Donovan? Dan seems to be repeating the story about flying on air force 1 over and over and over.

McCabe brings support and strategy for Grimm. Capano brings Pizza.

RESPONSE: THE "HOW DID YOU KNOW" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 8:25 AM"

WHO TOLD YOU ABOUT MY CRAZY ITALIAN UNCLE ???

I never was at a Thanksgiving dinner with him, but I did stay at his home for a week a very long time ago in a kingdom by the sea.

When we were leaving the country he was staying in at the time, he had the police detain us at the airport before we left to stop my cousin from coming back to the USA with us.....
A few years latter, after living in New York with my family for a year, that cousin married an Italian guy back in Italy --- the guy had a cheap title but no money --- they did OK, my cousin (uncle) had plenty of money, most of it in the kingdom by the sea, but some of it back in Italy.

My mother wanted nothing from her brother (maybe the country house he bought for us a few years earlier was enough) --- maybe, she was a little crazy too.....

AH, GOOD TIMES, GOOD TIMES !!!

McCabe & Grimm: 'support and strategy' sounds like a heavy thinking man's jockstrap; neither of them is a heavy thinking man, but both of them are a lot like jockstraps.

Gale,
Was your uncles name King Umberto?
All this time I'm rubbing elbows with Italian Royalty while on lookers see us as Irish Trash

Things are not always as they seem.

RESPONSE: THE "JUST SOME GUIDO" EDITION

TO THOSE GUESSING ABOUT MY UNCLE

HE'S JUST SOMEBODY NAMED "GUIDO" --- WHO LEFT ITALY SHORTLY AFTER HIS BROTHER WAS KILLED IN WHAT WAS RULED TO BE AN ACCIDENTAL DROWNING IN THE PO RIVER

My original comment noted that his daughter, my cousin, married into the family with the land-less and asset-less title.

As far as I know, there's no connection whatsoever between any of my relatives and the House of Savoy. On the other hand, Frankie Valli.....

The "Buzz" is Grimm is rolling over Donovan like Marty rolls over little old ladies.
