Gale,
I'm really overwhelmed by this post.
Never, and I mean never, would I have dreamed that you would spring for HBO.

comment above echoed my thoughts.

I recall hearing Thomas Jefferson from Gales pocket of coins yelling for air

Although I never met Gale I did hear that he once squeezed a nickel so hard that the buffalo on it pissed all over the place

RESPONSE: THE "I THINK I'M QUITE GENEROUS" EDITION

TO THE ONE, TWO OR THREE COMMENTERS ABOVE (AND I DO BELIEVE THE CORRECT ANSWER IS "ONE")

Not very long ago, when I went to Skinflints with a regular companion, who used to like to listen to "Show tunes" with me in a Sunset Park dive, I'd always pay for the first round.....

Now, since he came into some big money (and hopefully has a real payday on the horizon), I wait a couple of rounds (but I always pay my share of the tip, sometimes all of it).

you tell'em Gale.

I bet that sour puss above thinks tipping is a city in china

Gale I think I know who posted those comments and he is not one to talk.
That person is known to have deep pockets and short arms.

If I may be so bold as to say I have observed gale at many a function and gale was always quite generous at the open bar.

Gale told me the tip was included with the comped ticket.

SPECIAL UPDATE: THE "IT MIGHT BECOME THE CRAZIEST RACE FOR JUDGE EVER" EDITION

TALK ABOUT DEMOCRAT-ORIENTED STAND-UP COMICS --- THIS BROOKLYN INDEPENDENT DEMOCRAT CANDIDATE FOR JUDGE HAS THEM IN STITCHES [MAKE THAT "...IN STITCHES ON 'STITCHER'"]

JOHN KENNEDY O'HARA JUST ANNOUNCED HE'S RUNNING FOR CIVIL COURT JUDGE AND HE'S ALREADY A MEDIA STAR --- DOING STAND-UP ROUTINES ON TV [SORT OF... IT'S CABLE] AND RADIO [SORT OF... IT"S A PODCAST]

First, there was a great video interview with NY 1 (See "Recently Exonerated Lawyer John O'Hara Running for Brooklyn Civil Court Judge" by Jeanine Ramirez [w/ video link], 6/1/17, Spectrum News/ NY1 [http://www.ny1.com/nyc/all-boroughs/news/2017/06/1/recently-exonerated-lawyer-john-o-hara-running-for-brooklyn-civil-court-judge.html]); and then came what some might call an outrageous interview on Brooklyn Paper Radio --- but real people will just call it funny (See "O’Hara on the Radio: Revenge a motive in my run for judgeship!" by Moses Jefferson [w/ audio links to podcast by Gersh Kuntzman and Vince DiMiceli on Brooklyn Paper Radio, i-Tunes & Stitcher], 6/2/17, The Brooklyn Paper [http://www.brooklynpaper.com/stories/40/23/bpr-john-ohara-2017-06-09-bp.html]).
