Somebody thinks there was something wrong with John Ciampoli's representing Marty Golden and Ted Ghorra --- I think they're right....

WHY WAS THE NEW YORK SENATE REPUBLICAN CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE ATTORNEY, JOHN CIAMPOLI, REPRESENTING TED GORRA, THE GOLDEN FACTION’S CANDIDATE FOR KINGS COUNTY GOP CHAIRMAN ---  AND WHY DOES IT LOOK LIKE THE NEW YORK SENATE REPUBLICAN CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE PAID FOR IT OUT OF ITS HOUSEKEEPING ACCOUNT

IS THIS EXPENDITURE OK ???  AND DOES EVERYBODY IN ALBANY AGREE THAT IT’S THE RIGHT THING TO DO

A few days ago I got an interesting letter in the good old U.S. mail, along with a highlighted copy of a NYS Board of Election Financial  Disclosure Report – Schedule “G” for NYS SENATE REPUBLICAN CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE – HOUSEKEEPING.  I found it all very interesting, so I did a few quick, but necessary edits on the letter part and I am putting out there for all of you to see for yourselves. As for the Schedule “G,” you can check it out on-line at the NYS Board of Elections site for such reports --- the NYS SENATE REPUBLICAN CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE filer ID number is -- A12683 2016.

The letter is as follows:

“Recently, State Senator Marty Golden has been embroiled in a court battle to take over and control the Brooklyn Republican Party.  The attorney representing and making appearances for the “Golden faction” is John Ciampoli, Esq., who is retained by and/or is an employee of the New York State Senate Republican Campaign Committee.

There is no record with the New York State Board of Elections of any direct payments made to John Ciampoli for his legal services, either from Senator Golden’s campaign account or from his selected candidate for “Chairman,” Theodore Ghorra, Esq.  ---   However,  there are a large number of payments [to Ciampoli] from the State Senate Republican Committee Housekeeping Account --  Schedule “G”

From August 2015 through June 2016, John CIampoli received over $25,000 from this committee. Some money was via wire transfer, with one that corresponds “almost to the day” with the day that the lawsuit was filed, and there are many payments dates that correspond with John Ciampoli’s appearances [for Golden & Ghorra], along with some that match-up with filing dates of papers in the case.

THE QUESTIONS THIS RAISES

My anonymous source then went on to ask some pointed questions, such as:

Was the New York State Senate Republican Campaign Committee funding Stae Senator Marty Golden’s court case and his attempt to take over the Kings County Republican Party.

Are the donors to the aforesaid committee aware that there is a likelihood that some of the money thqt they donated to that committee is not going to help retain control of the New York State Senate by the current GOP majority; but instead, it is going to finance the ego of one Republican State Senator, engaging in his failed bi-annual attempts to wrest control of his local GOP from its traditional and long-established leadership.

Is there any another rational explanation for the New York State Senate Republican Campaign Committee Schedule “G” payments to John Ciampoli, Esq., and the way they relate to the filing dates, scheduled court dates and other appearances [in the Golden-Ghorra case] by the same John Ciampoli, Esq.”

--- MAYBE, YOU MIGHT HAVE SOME QUESTIONS YOU’D LIKE TO ASK ABOUT ALL OF THIS YOURSELF --- BECAUSE THIS SURE LOOKS VERY QUESTIONABLE TO ME.

This info should be spread to the Times, the News, the Post and all newspapers that the NYS Senate is spending donations to them, to help a NYS Senator in his evil pursuit to take over the county gop for his own ego and greed.......

GM I thought you couldn't care less about the outcome of this court case as you so passionately averred when it came out. Now it seems this is all you want to discuss. It's over GM, all over but the shrieking and shouting from the Bath Beach Cult calling itself the LaGuardia Club. Nothing will change the outcome and it probably won't even be appealed.

REPSONSE: THE "WELL, JUST THIS AFTERNOON..." EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 8:37 PM"

YOU'RE NOT READING MY BLOG AS RELIGIOUSLY AS YOU SHOULD

YOU'RE ABOUT 80% "ALL WRONG" ABOUT WHERE I GET MY INFORMATION

AND TODAY I WAS TOLD BY AN "EATON PERSON" THAT AN APPEAL WAS IN THE WORKS --- BY EATON

You are like an insect frozen in amber and frozen in time. If you check back, you will see that I completely reversed my publically-stated DISINTEREST in the Brooklyn County leadership case after I had a chance to read Justice Edgar Walker's pied mess of a decision.

I clearly announced in a very prominent post that I had became very interested when I read Judge Walker's final decision, which together with his earlier partial decision, dipped deep into the internal workings of the Brooklyn GOP in its efforts to prevent the fraudulent submission of over 400 fraudulently-obtained and fraudulently-handled proxies that were then submitted by Marty Golden in person.

Although significant aspects of those frauds were admitted-to in Edgar Walker's court by Golden's NYS-paid staffer James McClelland, and by a senior Officer of the Brooklyn Board of Elections, now under suspension, the very same Justice Walker ruled that the Brooklyn GOP Credentials Committee had no authority to consider or find the admitted large-scale "fraud" when it reviewed the fraudulently obtained and handled proxies submitted by Golden.

ENOUGH ABOUT WHAT I WROTE BEFORE --- THIS IS NOW

Lately, I have had conversations with executive members of the Fiorello LaGuardia Republican Organization; much of what I heard was openly reported on this blog. Those conversations contributed to less than one-half of what I have reported about the Ferraro-Eaton response to the final decision by Judge Walker. Furthermore, as a source or sources of information about the lead-up to the 2017 Brooklyn GOP County Convention, the actual conduct-of and events-at the convention and the litigation that followed that convention before Judge Walker's final decision, Arnaldo Ferraro and all the other FLGRO members provided less than one-third of my information.

Let me close by telling everybody that this afternoon (8/23/16) I spoke to a person that is very close to Craig Eaton concerning the Justice Edgar Walker decision. That person had long been identified as one of Eaton's people; and that "Eaton person" assured me that Mr. Eaton was fully prepared to pursue an appeal of all of it.

GM "Disinterest" means objective not uncaring. And since you don't feign to be objective, not only can you use a few new credible sources but an Oxford Dictionary might come in handy for you as well.

RESPONSE: THE "DON'T GO THERE" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 7:59 AM"

YOU NEED TO KNOW HOW TO USE A DICTIONARY BEFORE YOU RESORT TO REFERRING TO ONE IN YOUR ARGUMENTS), REBUTTALLS OR COUNTEER-COMMENTARY --- VERY OFTEN, A SINGLE WORD CAN HAVE MULTIPLE MEANINGS, SOME SIMILAR & SOME NOT, SOME RELATED & SOME NOT

BUT ANY ANALYSIS OF ANYBODY'S MEANING(S) REQUIRES MORE THAN DICTIONARY DEFINITIONS --- THERE IS SYNTAX AND CONTEXT TO CONSIDER --- OH, AND DON'T FORGET BACKGROUND, DEPTH, PROBITY AND HUMOR --- AND, OF COURSE THERE'S THE POSSIBILITY OF SARCASM AND/OR IRONY, WITH OR WITHOU HUMOR

AS FOR EXPANDING MY SOURCES FOR INFORMATION, WITH FEW EXCEPTIONS, MY SOURCES COME TO ME WITH LEADS

The point about my needing "a few new credible sources" -- I'm always open to listening to new sources, if I hear from them. What's more, I don't care what side they're on or even if they are credible.

Now for your definitional point --- I'm quite comfortable with my use(s)of the word "disinterest" in my comment above or anytime before that.....

BUT >>> Thank you for playing.....

So were any laws broken?

GM, your comfort level with understanding the meaning of "disinterested" may evolve dramatically if you look it up in the dictionary. Whether or not I know how to use one is not really relevant here since you are the one who should look up the word. Don't get worked up all of this should be taken in a lighthearted manner. Regarding your sources, let me augment them by letting you know that Eaton is not going to get involved with the appeal if your friends over in Bath Beach keep "nickel and diming" him.

REPSONSE: THE "SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST PAINS IN MY ARSE" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 7:59 AM" & "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 11:50 AM"

I DID LOOK IT UP & NOW IT'S TWICE --- But with some people one just has to get to the point of being pedantic just to get through to them.....

Look at this:

"dis·in·ter·est·ed.
[disˈintrəstəd, disˈin(t)əˌrestəd]
ADJECTIVE
1.not influenced by considerations of personal advantage:
"a banker is under an obligation to give disinterested advice"
synonyms: unbiased · unprejudiced · impartial · neutral ·
[more]

2.having or feeling no interest in something:
"her father was so disinterested in her progress that he only visited the school once"
synonyms: uninterested · indifferent · incurious · uncurious [more]
Powered by Oxford Dictionaries · © Oxford University Press...." ·

And now try this on for size:

"dis·in·ter·est.
[disˈint(ə)rəst]
NOUN
1.the state of not being influenced by personal involvement in something; impartiality:
"I do not claim any scholarly disinterest with this book"
synonyms: impartiality · neutrality · objectivity · detachment [more]

2.lack of interest in something:
"he chided Dennis for his disinterest in anything that is not his own idea"
synonyms: indifference · lack of interest · unconcern · impassivity [more]
Powered by Oxford Dictionaries · © Oxford University Press...." ·

Let me use it in a sentence for you --- Galewyn Massey would probably have no interest or interests in local politics whatsoever, if it weren't for his deep and abiding animus against certain practitioners of the art who live in and around Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights and other nearby environs.

I think that should cover it.

If its the official GOP funds they are not supposed to be used on intra party.

Thats what people are saying

Oh, give me a break, this Republican Senate Campaign Housekeeping account is run like a slush fund by the Republican Caucus leadership.

During the case Ciampoli specifically told somebody in the "Eaton faction" that they had to help Marty's 2015 takeover because the "Eaton faction" was talking about a primary against Marty Golden in 2016.
