NYC tabloids seem to weigh-in on opposite sides of a “conspiracy theory” in murder of a DNC staffer --- While a British tabloid did the basic report and then added a full retrospective on Bill & Hill conspiracy theories

NY POST COVERAGE
The
mainstream media is finally taking head of a Washington DC murder that took
place a month ago. According to a report in the NY Post --- “WikiLeaks
editor Julian Assange suggested that the Democratic National Committee staffer
shot dead last month in Washington, DC, was killed because he was a ‘source.’… ‘Whistleblowers go to significant efforts to
get us material and often very significant risks. As a 27-year-old, works for
the DNC, was shot in the back, murdered just a few weeks ago for unknown
reasons as he was walking down the street in Washington,' he told Dutch TV,
referring to Seth Rich, who was gunned down in the early morning hours of July
10 while walking to his apartment in Bloomingdale…. The interviewer followed up by asking, 'That
was just a robbery, I believe. Wasn’t it?'…
The WikiLeaks founder cryptically replied, 'No, there’s no finding … I’m
suggesting that our sources take risks.'…
WikiLeaks recently released a trove of stolen emails from top-level
staffers at the Democratic National Committee. The revelations in the emails
led to resignations of the chair of the DNC, as well as top staff members…. In the interview, Assange refused to confirm
Rich was a source….” (See “Julian
Assange suggests DNC staffer was shot dead for being a ‘source’ “ by Daniel
Halper, 8/10/16, NY Post [http://nypost.com/2016/08/10/julian-assange-suggests-dnc-staffer-was-shot-dead-for-being-a-source/]).
NY DAILY NEWS COVERGE
For its part the NY Daily News approached its coverage of
the Seth Rich murder story with this: “The family of slain
Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich has a message to the
Wikileaks crowd: Stop with the conspiracy theories....
After Wikileaks founder Julian Assange implied Rich was the source of
the recent Democratic National Convention leak
— and offered $20,000 for info on Rich’s murder — the grieving family slammed
him for trying to 'politicize this horrible tragedy.'… 'The family welcomes any and all information
that could lead to the identification of the individuals responsible, and
certainly welcomes contributions that could lead to new avenues of
investigation,' Rich family spokesman Brad Bauman said in a statement [earlier
today]…. ‘That said, some are attempting
to politicize this horrible tragedy, and in their attempts to do so, are
actually causing more harm than good and impeding on the ability for law
enforcement to properly do their job.’…” (See “Family of slain Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich tells
Wikileaks founder Julian Assange to stop spreading conspiracy theories” by Jason Silverstein, 8/10/16, NY Daily News/US [http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/seth-rich-kin-wikileaks-stop-murder-conspiracy-theories-article-1.2746071]).
The News article took particular care to mention that “…. Assange is the only public figure to claim
there is a link between the [DNC e-mails] leak and Rich’s death….”
DAILY MAIL COVERAGE OF SETH RICH’S MURDER MENTIONS BILL & HILLARY CLINTON
In an interesting “double-triple take” on the Seth Rich murder
story, a British tabloid, the Daily Mail, started with this: “The mystery surrounding the murder of rising Democrat star Seth Rich took a
sudden sinister turn Wednesday with claims that he was responsible for the
email dump that brought down close Hillary Clinton ally Debbie Wasserman-Schultz…. Julian Assange, the head of Wikileaks, the
organization that released the emails, announced a $20,000 reward for
information leading to Rich's July 10 death, hinting that Rich was responsible
for leaking the documents…. Assange's offer has also added fuel to the
flames of conspiracy theories sweeping the Internet that the Democratic
presidential candidate and her husband Bill were somehow involved in Rich's
death….” (See “EXCLUSIVE:
Outrage at Julian Assange for implicating murdered DNC staffer in email leak
and offering $20k reward - as the victim's parents accuse Wikileaks founder of
‘politicizing this horrible tragedy’ “ by Martin Gould & Alana Goodman,

After
that opening, the article switched to the Rich family response, similar to what
appeared in the NY Daily News. However,
in another reversal the Daily Mail article did an extensive backgrounder on all
the bodies new and old that have been laid at the Clintons’ door(s) over the
years.

From the very start the Seth murder looked like there was more to it.
Anyone could see that
The MSM has been burying this story. The Marc Rich connection is still below the radar.
Seth Rich was not shot on the street. The New York Times just reported he was shot in front of his house. That smells of a hit.
