Speaking on today’s Fox News’ “Outnumbered” program, Democrat Arthur Aidala says President Obama’s problem is that he doesn’t have the best and the brightest advisers working for him....
In the past we have mentioned the local political operator, Arthur Aidala, in connection with his activities on behalf of former DA Charles “Joe” Hynes, as well as some of his connections to Republican-Conservative State Senator Martin Golden ( Remember, Part 2 of the Golden-Aidala Connections post is yet to come).
Today, Mr. Aidala went off on the President Obama’s foreign policy, but he excused the President, somewhat, by explaining that President Obama might not be receiving the best advice. According to Aidala, that is because Obama has not surrounded himself with the “best and the brightest” in the way of advisers.
Later in the program, Aidala went back to the "best and brightest" theme; and he said that, as between Republicans and Democrats, he can't say who has the lead in that. He also said that if Obama fails in his duty to defend the U.S. he will be the worst president in history.

I guess Hynes had the best and brightest around him.
What does Artie Aidala know about the best and brightest anything?
On this post Mr. Massey you are correct. The level of mediocrity that Mr. Hynes surrounded himself with was very unnerving. Yet I think you should reconsider whether Charles Hynes was really a Democrat. His three closest advisors are Republicans. In fact, one of our state's former most notable Republican officials communicated with Hynes every day - especially toward the end - advising him and giving him pep talks. Mr. Hynes was always a recipient of the Wilson Pakula. This would only be given to him repeatedly if the party embraced his ideology. Otherwise, why didn't the Republicans ever have their own candidate run against him? Most importantly, the Hynes office did not maintain a Democratic party "feel" to it. When one thinks of the spirit of the Democrats we immediately envision James Stewart in Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. That spirit of wanting to serve the public good and seek fairness just did not exist in Mr. Hynes' office. Just because one labels himself a Democrat or registers as one does not make him live his public life according to the principles of the party. It is akin to calling oneself a Catholic and then never going to Mass.
If Larry Morrish rymes with smallfish, and Aidala rymes with a dollar, than Golden is olden.
Both Artie Aidala and Bo Dietl have appeared on Fox News and other talk programs together, and they both use telephones to call people.... Is there any other connection between them, and say Marty Golden or some contributor to this blog?
Not guys to mess with
