Giving GOP Presidential Candidate Donald J. Trump a major strategic victory in the Democrats' conspiratorial attempts to use "lawfare" against him, the now under increasing scrutiny NYS Acting-Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan has postponed the Republican presidential nominee's  sentencing until after election day for the purported "business records conviction" (actually only a "jury verdict" and NOT a "conviction") in the one "lawfair" case against Trump ( the DA Bragg case in NYC and NYS) that has gone through the trial and jury verdict phases of the "lawfare"

Following several earlier delays in the case,   Judge Merchan has now pushed the sentencing date even further down the road  —  the former and future POTUS Donald Trump’s sentencing had been re-scheduled from September 18th until November 26th.

Trump had requested the judge to delay the case to allow Trump's lawyers more time to challenge the Manhattan DA Bragg's indictment, the judge's denial or pre-trial motions, the judge's conduct of the trial and all the jury findings.

** As everybody should know by now, irrespective of any jury verdict after a criminal trial in New York, there is not any "CONVICTION"  in the Courts of the State of New York, or "On the record" of any defendant in the State of New York until:  1) after sentence has been pronounced; and 2) the first level of a statutory mandatory appeal has been properly exhausted by or on behalf of that defendant.....
