Jerry Kassar's well-oiled machine starting to squeak a little

Democrat Blake Morris is going to test how strong Simcha Felder's support is among Democrats since Felder's vote keeps the Republicans in control of the NYS Senate

Also a confrontation is brewing over special exemptions for Orthodox Jewish religious schools from certain NYS Ed Department rules

Major problems will arise if Conservative Party boss Jerry Kassar has to work hard in Felder's 17th District,  as well as in Marty Golden's 22nd District,  both through the summer for the primary, and then possibly into the November 2018 general election

One of my best BSIs, who is actually supporting Blake Morris, tells me that this is a major unreported story  on this independent GOP blog  ---   What do >>> You <<<  think ???

Here's the take on Mr. Morris'  pitch from his own web page:

[PICTURE  OF CANDIDATE THAT LOOKS LIKE LARRY DAVID]

"Blake Morris is a longtime Brooklynite and has been a citizens advocate for over 25 years. He is running for New York Senate in District #17, which includes Kensington, Flatbush, Midwood, Borough Park, Mapleton, Sunset Park and Sheepshead Bay....   The office is currently occupied by Senator Simcha Felder, who has become infamous as a turncoat Democrat that votes along with the Republican majority that currently controls the State Senate. This is problematic as Democrats, in the New York State Senate, actually hold more seats than Republicans but, do not control the Senate due to the breakaway 8 members of the Independent Democratic Caucus and Mr. Felder, who have decided to caucus with Republicans....   The Democrats are reduced to mere spectators in the legislative process in which they should be the masters of their fate and ours. The Senate is now the place where Democratic progressive Assembly passed legislation goes to die.
If you want something different, then you need a plan!...   This plan starts with Blake's candidacy."   (See "BLAKE’S STORY...   Blake Morris For NYS Senate District 17"   [https://www.blakemorrisforstatesenate.com/]).

Simcha Felder is a lock to keep that seat and it is delusional to think that Jerry Kassar has anything to do with it.

UPDATE: THE "BOB CAPANO IN THE NEWS --- AGAIN" EDITION

REFORM PARTY CHAIRMEN ACCUSE MICHAEL GRIMM'S CAMPAIGN OF ELECTION FRAUD

The Brooklyn and Staten Island chairmen of the Reform Party have each accused the folks backing Michael Grimm of "Election Fraud" by filing a single Reform Party petition containing the name of Dan Donovan with the BOE.....

The filing of that single signature on a one page petition might arguably invalidate the entire Reform Party petition filed on behalf of Dan Donovan, because of the BOE "Cover Sheet" rules for small petitions, like the one(s) filed on behalf of Congressman Donovan to secure a spot on the Reform Party line.

Liam is in for a lot of trouble in his Assembly race if Donovan wins his primary. Donovan people obviously not BK Cons but people from Staten Island have reached out to Saperstein to make sure he stays in the race.

If Liam doesnt think reporters are snooping around for his second rehab stint in 2 years, he is nuts.

So far, Liam is looking lame. His relapse-rehab-recovery-run for office routine is altogether too routinely routine.

Saperstein is the safe chioce for Republicans, and soon it will be out there for all to see.
lets see what happens next

It’s time Teddy Ghorra does his job as Chair steps I’m and avoiding a nasty primary. Saperstein a reliable pick.

UPDATE: THE "REFORM PARTY --- NOT 'FAST AND FURIOUS' --- MORE LIKE 'SLOW AND EVEN-KEELED' " EDITION

So far, it seems like the Reform Party is holding back from endorsing the Republican-Conservative favorite for governor, Marc Molinaro. His recent move to the head of the class with the GOP and the Conservatives was something that looked like it was out of a movie like "Fast and Furious" --- and it made about as much sense.

Earlier, I was contacted by the Brooklyn Reform Party Chairman, who clearly indicated that no consensus had been reached yet by the Reform Party's selection committee among the four candidates that came to that party seeking its endorsement and line. The four were Joel Giambra, Marcus Molinaro, Larry Sharpe, and Joe Holland.

Whether or not the Reform Party follows the suit of the other "third party" --- their decision is going to look, sound and feel more sober and deliberate..... And how could it not?

Is Cuomo getting the reform party?

Only if it's Perry!

10:58 needs a lesson in spelling.

Perry Como did not spell his last name the same way as our Governor Mario Cuomo.

Ghorra needs to step in here and show some leadership. Or maybe he really is Jerry’s puppet.
