Bob Capano announces that the Reform Party has been >>> “ESTABLISHED” <<< in Brooklyn

The Kings County Reform Party  held its first formal meeting in Brooklyn,  on Saturday  ---  and thus was established the Kings County Reform Party

Bay Ridgeite Bob Capano unanimously elected as chairman of the new party on the block

TALK-RADIO STAR  &  REFORM PARTY STATE-WIDE CHAIRMAN CURTIS SLIWA SAYS  ---  "Capano will empower Brooklyn voters to be a counter-weight to the entrenched party machines….”

According to a press release to this blog (and other media outlets),   “The initial organizational meeting of the Kings County Reform Party was held in the dining hall at Bklyn's Pizza, located at 1406 86th Street in Dyker Heights. Although the New York State Reform Party, under the new leadership of Chairman Curtis Sliwa, did run candidates in Brooklyn last year, these candidates were chosen by the state Executive Committee. Now, the Kings County Reform Party, under the leadership of Capano, will be charged with interviewing and selecting candidates to run on the Reform Party line throughout the borough.

The release went on to state that,   “….   Curtis Sliwa, Chairman of the NYS Reform Party who attended the meeting stated,  ‘Bob Capano has worked in senior positions for Brooklyn's top elected Democrats and Republicans. He has run for office and campaigned for many others. Bob knows where the political bones are buried and who buried them in Brooklyn. As less and less people participate in the political process, Bob will welcome the disenfranchised into the NYS Reform Party's tent. He will promote our three key principles: term limits, initiative and referendum, and non-partisan elections. Chairman Capano will empower Brooklyn voters and be a strong counter-weight to the entrenched party machines.’…"

It should also be noted that,  prior to the Kings County organizational meeting,  Reform Party members from throughout New York attended their party’s Winter State Committee Meeting.

NEW PARTY ALREADY HAS A RECORD OF ACCOMPLISHMENTS OUTSIDE OF BROOKLYN

The Reform Party had a number of significant victories throughout New York State last year. In Syracuse, Ben Walsh became d Mayor on the Reform Party line, without support from either the Democratic or Republican Parties  (the only other time a minor-party candidate became Mayor in Syracuse had been in 1913).   In a Queens County race,  the Reform Party provided the margin of victory for Robert Holden in his upset victory over incumbent Elizabeth Crowley.

HEARD HERE AND THERE AMONG A GATHERING OF FOLKS IN A DYKER HEIGHTS PIZZA PLACE

…  The Reform line can have a significant impact in a close race, such as many Reform Party types expect for the 2018 general election contests in the 46th AD and  Marty Golden’s  22nd SD.

…  A long discussion was had on the likely impact the new Brooklyn Reform Party might have in the 46th Assembly District and in Golden’s 22nd State Senate District.  Most of the RP-types at the gathering seem to think that both will be very competitive among the various candidates vying for those spots.

There was also some speculation that State Senator Marty Golden would eventually wind-up having to give-in to a formal interview by Bob Capano and Chairman Capano’s candidate selection committee.  (If the old red-necked bastard foolishly refuses to formally seek the Reform Party line, it would be almost certainly like handing it to Gounardes or Barkan,  if either one or both of those candidates were to come before the Reform Party County Chairman for an interview).

Also,  very much was made of the fact that Vinny Gentile received over 31,000 on the Reform Party line for DA last year, and that most of it came from areas that overlap the 46th AD and 22nd SD…..

Move over Ted Ghorra and Jerry Kassar-- you have real competition

Finally, someone who makes Ghorra look like an impressive leader!

Capano was on Channel 12 and WABC radio and will be on NY1 speaking about his new chairmanship of the Brooklyn Reform Party..I don't think anyone noticed when Ghorra took over the Brooklyn GOP

Ahahahahaha

We will see about the reform party after cats tells bob to endorse Marty. Like bob will say no?

Anonymous said...

I can guarantee the Reform Party will not endorse marty..

If self-promotion was political capital, Capano would be wealthier than Catsimatidis.

It's not.

Cats hates Marty..he will ask Bob to endorse anyone but Marty..your out of the loop!

This shows that somebody needs to get whacked.

to 3:41 let me explain "the loop" to you.

When anyone above the status of lets say, county committee person, contacts cats and offers to pose for a picture with him then cats writes a check and says thank you. What the check out guy thinks goes out the window.

Bob Capano once again comes back!!

Ok 449pm..let see how that turns out in a couple of months..please screenshot these comments ..and why exactly does Cats need to take a picture with someone??? Get a grip

Electing a Mayor of Syracuse is it. Whats syracuse?

Anonymous said...

Well once you got Syracuse the world follows

Bob lives in Syracuse? I thought he was from staten island

John and Andrea Cats have never forgotten how Marty Golden actively campaigned against John in the primary and let Jerry Kassar run a smear campaign against him.

Johnny Cats narrowly lost Brooklyn to Joe Lhota after Lhota had promised many Brooklyn Republicans that, win or lose, he would be in it for the long haul. As part of that, he promised to rebuild the Brooklyn GOP after 2013, win, lose or draw in his race for mayor.

Whatever deal Lhota made with the Conservatives fell apart right after the GOP primary. The Lhota campaign for Mayor was one of the worst ever; and Lhota was slaughtered by a weak Democrat, Bill de Blasio.

Makes sense. If Lhota hadnt promised GOP rebuilding cats would be in his second term as mayor.

Bob comes up large. As usual

Just read about a woman challenging kirsten Gillibrand named Chele Chiavacci Farley. She supposed to have a lot of money but no website.

Anonymous said...

As long as Lhota wont promise to rebuild brooklyn GOP Farley should win.

Since Capano became chairman the stock market has gone down.

One of these days, Cats is going to realize how much work time Bob has wasted posting these self-fellating posts instead of restocking the store and wiping down the bathrooms.

When will you realize Capano is untouchable and unstoppable.

FLASH NEWS UPDATE: THE "COCK-BLOCK STRATEGY" EDITION

A KEY PERSON IN THE REFORM PARTY HIERARCHY HAS DESCRIBED FOR ME ONE OF THE MAJOR STRATEGIES THAT THE NEW REFORM PARTY TEAM INTEND TO USE TO BUILD UP THEIR INFLUENCE ON THE MAJOR PARTIES AND GO DIRECTLY AT THE CONSERVATIVES' ATTEMPTS TO DEAL WITH CERTAIN DEMOCRATS

Since the Conservative Party has openly made it known that nobody that accepts the Working Families Party line can get the Conservative Party endorsement, the Reform Party sees an opportunity and an advantage to be had. Saying to certain candidates (mostly Democrats, but also a handful of Republicans) that having the Working Families Party line and the Reform Party line would be advantageous compared to just having the Conservatives' line is a very good selling point.

It is so good, that the Reform Party might well adopt it as a major selling strategy statewide. In any case, some of the the Brooklyn Reformers especially like it.

[ There will be more of the Reform Party's special tactics and strategies in upcoming commments and posts. ]
