Here is what they said in the NY Post: ".... The drip-drip-drip of evidence detailing the Biden family criminal enterprise has turned into a torrent.... And the sudden quiet from our most strident “democracy defenders” has grown deafening.... Case in point: the silence around revelations contained in a video exclusively obtained by The Post from Gal Luft, a key would-be witness on Biden family corruption.... Luft alleges that he provided evidence of Biden family misdeeds to the FBI in 2019.... He claims too that his own 2023 arrest was meant to stop him from testifying before the House Oversight Committee.... [And here are some of the details provided in the Gal Luft interview according to the NY Post Editorial]
- Joe Biden, along with Hunter, met with reps of the Chinese-government-linked energy conglomerate CEFC at the Four Seasons hotel in Washington, DC right after leaving the vice presidency — an allegation independently confirmed.
- CEFC was paying huge sums to Hunter and uncle Jim ($100,000 and $65,000 a month) in exchange for use of their family name in promoting China’s interests.
- Hunter had a pet mole within the FBI, who provided tipoffs to CEFC honchos about incoming heat.
- The prosecutors trying CEFC big Patrick Ho for bribery in 2017 forbade him from so much as mentioning the name Biden, despite Ho having paid Hunter $1 million as a 'legal retainer.'...”
Thus, there's now another Biden family corruption scandal whistleblower on the record --- this one saying that he is on the run, and that he is being "hunted by the FBI" after he told them about payments made to Hunter Biden and his father [now-President] Joe Biden, and his uncle James Biden by a Chinese energy firm
The Congressional investigations into the Biden family’s alleged influence-peddling schemes have just been given fresh vitality and materiality..... If one were to peruse the latest new descriptions of high-level graft by an American-Israeli professor and former Israeli lieutenant colonel, Gal Luft.
It has been reported that Mr. Luft, 57, is on the run following his arrest while in Cyprus on charges of international arms trafficking and an alleged violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act; however, Luft denies those charges, dismissing them as retaliatory acts by President Biden and his enablers in the FBI and DOJ for having stepped up to alert U.S. investigators and prosecutors about specific acts of corruption by the president's son Hunter and the president's brother James.
Following a widely publicized arrest, which occurred just before Mr. Luft was about to board a regular commercial flight to Israel from Cyprus, Luft had Tweeted that the Department of Justice was “... trying to bury me to protect Joe, Jim, and Hunter Biden. Shall I name names?...” This past week Luft recorded a 14-minute video message, recently obtained and published by the New York Post, in which Luft did in fact name names.
Journalist Caroline Glick reported in the NY Sun in February that Mr. Biden’s envoy to Nicosia, Julie Fischer, appealed a Cypriot court’s decision to grant Mr. Luft bail. The American embassy in Cyprus did not respond to the Sun’s request for comment, referring the matter to the U.S. State Department, which did not respond and has remained tight-lipped on the matter.
From wherever Mr. Luft made his videp, he did not hold back, maintaining that the reason he was arrested at the Cyprus airport --- a mere 35-minute flight from Israel — is that it was a part of a plan by the Biden administration to keep him from making his planned testimony to the U.S. House Oversight Committee about payments said to have been made to members of the president’s family by an energy company called CEFC that was run by the government of Communist China.
As had been previously reported during March of 2019, Mr. Luft met with four FBI officials and two Department of Justice prosecutors at the American Embassy at Brussels, Belgium to provide information that CEFC was making payments monthly in the amounts of $100,000 to Hunter Biden and $65,000 to James Biden in exchange for their U.S.government connections and use of the Biden name to promote China’s Belt and Road Initiative around the world.
In the recent video statement, Luft was quoted as follows: ".... “Over an intensive two-day meeting, I shared my information about the Biden family’s financial transactions with CEFC, including specific dollar figures.... I also provided the name of Rob Walker, who later became known as Hunter Biden’s bagman.”
Also according to Luft, the Justice Department's six individuals sent to meet Gal Luft in Belgium the two DOJ prosecutors were from the Southern District of New York, named Daniel Richenthal and Catherine Ghosh. And as the New York Post first reported, at the Brussels meeting, Mr. Luft also told the Department of Justice and the FBI that Hunter Biden “had an FBI mole named ‘One Eye’ who had tipped off his CEFC associates, Mr. Patrick Ho and Chairman Ye Jianming, that they were under investigation.”
Mr. Luft claimed that everything he told the American officials in Brussels was “corroborated” nine months later, when the FBI subpoenaed Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop.
In his very recent video message, Mr. Luft accused the Department of Justice of a cover-up and said that “I, who volunteered to inform the US government about a potential security breach and about compromising information about a man vying to be the next president, am now being hunted by the very same people who I informed — and may have to live on the run for the rest of my life.”
He added, “I warned the government about potential risk to the integrity of the 2020 election … Ask yourself, who is the real criminal in this story?”
