The Gothamist, and most if not all of these other media outlets, mentioned that Governor Cuomo has condemned gatherings like this, with Cuomo saying that "..... I am appalled.... The Department of Health will conduct an investigation. We have no tolerance for the illegal & reckless endangerment of public health...."; and another time this: "It’s disrespectful. Based on video of the rave on social media, only some of the rave attendees wore masks. What it looked like was a wild dance party that was rocking the night away until the late after hours on Sunday. Most of all it showed a rampant, almost complete, disregard for social distancing guidelines.
