Last evening I wrote this comment on another thread --- it needs more coverage than that..... So, here it is:

And I think that a little bit of editing would be appropriate to put a somewhat finer point on it.....
Just to make sure that you, my readers, are up to date, I mean mostly:
a) the videos of the police involved shooting of Jacob Blake by Kenosha Police Officer Rustin Sheskey;
b) the coverage (as well as noting the initial non-coverage by the MSM) of the riots, vandalism, looting and arson in Kenosha in almost immediate response to the police involved shooting of Jacob Blake by Kenosha Police Officer Rustin Sheskey;
c) the emerging details of the exigent circumstances surrounding the police involved shooting of Jacob Blake by Kenosha Police Officer Rustin Sheskey;
d) the emergence of militia groups in and around Kenosha in response to the local and state governments' abject failure to maintain law and order in Kenosha;
e) the shootings of three rioters by a 17 year old militiaman, Kyle Rittenhouse, who was a pro-"Blue Lives Matter" "outsider" from a nearby non-urban Illinois community; and
f) the belated and skewed coverage of the competing narratives about the coverage of the police involved shooting of Jacob Blake by Kenosha Police Officer Rustin Sheskey and the riots, vandalism, looting and arson in Kenosha and the subsequent shootings of three rioters by a young militiaman by/in/on the various MSM platforms.....

PBA endorsement of Mike Tannousis portrays a clear picture to voters what slate shares the values of OUR community.
Unless the PBA stands for much lower pay and benefits for its members going forward, meeting its new demands and economic realities will require taking back lots of money from past policemen to pay for the future policemen. Since the new policemen will have many more minorities, that can be morally justified as the retired cops "reparations" and "damages" for their part in suppressing the minority population in New York.

New York is broke. In New York, 'defunding' the police and a lot of other things is the only fiscally responsible thing to do.

as for "truly ugly human beings" consider Kenoshas Anthony Huber who was the jerk that decided to throw that 17 year old a beating with his skateboard. Huber probably thought he was being clever using his skateboard as a weapon. One will never know since Huber is dead. Not as clever as he thought.
The PBA will be endorsing Vito.
I saw disturbing videos today. One was taken inside a church in philadelphia. Two older women were walking into church and a black woman was standing there and punched the old ladies. No charges were filed.
The second video was taken today in nyc. Two white ladies faces were slashed in front on midtown library.

A bigger "Greek Vote" in Brooklyn is better for both Nicole Malliotakis and Andrew Gounardes, and both sides will be whipping that vote. Look for Vito to under-perform Marty in Bay Ridge and Marine Park, and run about even in Dyker Heights and Bath Beach --- that adds up to a bigger loss than Marty's in 2018.
