After immediately prejudging the case against the Kenosha Police Officers, Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers threw gasoline on the fires in Kenosha when he authorized the Wisconsin National Guard to go into Kenosha after the first night of rioting, looting and arson in that city. It all followed a police action resulting in the shooting of a black man in Kenosha on Sunday after he resisted arrest, assaulted police, attempted to escape and to use a car full of children to flee the scene.
According to a press release issued from Governor Evers’ office, the National Guard soldiers would be used only to help protect infrastructure, including fire stations and utilities --- and the use of the National Guard was only on a “limited mobilization” basis.
Governor Evers also added this: “I know folks across our state will be making their voices heard in Kenosha and in communities across Wisconsin... Every person should be able to express their anger and frustration by exercising their First Amendment rights and report on these calls to action without any fear of being unsafe....”

All of this should be piled at the feet of Wisconsin Governor TONY-NOT-THE-TIGER EVERS, whose pathetic response in the first three days of the Kenosha riots has now led to shooting deaths in the mess that he has greatly augmented and amplified by his widely announced limited response and open invitation to the rioters.
Meanwhile, why has John Antamarian, the Mayor of the City of Kenosha, almost disappeared from sight and been so relatively silent in response to the police shooting of Jacob Blake and the explosive violence that it has appeared to have triggered in his city.
It is not completely clear how many shooters where involved in the Kenosha killings..... However, a rather up to the minute report by the Washington Post indicates that after police dispersed rioters outside the Kenosha County Courthouse and drove them in the direction of a gas station, they were met there by armed men that apparently were there to protect the gas station. It seems that one or more of those men shot three and killed two of the rioters. Later law enforcement officials described the men as possibly part of vigilante militia groups that were patrolling in the city.
