If Kyle Rittenhouse gets a really good lawyer, he might even get off scot-free
I've seen and heard enough evidentiary quality material to indicate that the seventeen year old militiaman, armed with an AR-15, who killed two rioters and wounded a third, almost definitely can make out an affirmative defense of self-defense to all three shootings
Rittenhouse actually shoots the handgun of the third man trying to kill him right out of his hand, when Kyle's 5.56 mm round blew-up his assailant's forearm and elbow, probably destroying the ulnar nerve in the man's badly furrowed right arm
Kyle Rittenhouse looked like he was being chased across a parking lot when shots rang out behind him, he stopped running, spun around and fired directly at his nearest pursuer who was hit in the side of his head and fell down between cars. There was a momentary lull and Rittenhouse briefly doubled back and stood next to a person giving first aid to the person he had shot.
The obviously armed mob suddenly continued to chase Rittenhouse down the street away from the parking lot, Rittenhouse ran somewhat ahead of his pursuers until he fell to the ground, was run into by a man that tumbled over him; and then Rittenhouse was hit in the head with a skateboard by another pursuer that also seemed to roll over the 17 year old, momentarily causing Rittenhouse to lose possession and control of his rifle. While the assailant regained his skateboard and again attempted to whack Rittenhouse with the board, Rittenhouse grabbed at his rifle, rolled over and put a round into the middle of the assailant's chest.
Rittenhouse didn't have any time to think about things, because a third man armed with a pistol was taking aim at the young man still on the ground, whereupon Rittenhouse fired in the direction of the gunman, hitting him in the arm about a foot above the gun he was holding until it was dislodged by the shot fired by Rittenhouse.
Kyle Rittenhouse got his feet and vacated the area, probably by walking right passed several police vehicles with his arms held above his head and his weapon slung across his body at his waist as he walked away.

Under federal law, Kyle Rittenhouse was a member of the National Militia of the United States:
"(a)The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States and of female citizens of the United States who are members of the National Guard.
(b)The classes of the militia are—
(1)the organized militia, which consists of the National Guard and the Naval Militia; and
(2)the unorganized militia, which consists of the members of the militia who are not members of the National Guard or the Naval Militia...."
Arrests in Kenosha show a presence of Seattle-based food group called 'The Kitchen' associated with ANTIFA. The Kitchen claims to only bring food to protesters, but there have been many instances showing that they have brought weaponry forward to rioters, looters and arsonists at the point of attack.
