GOP candidate for CIty Council Brian Fox went after his opponent Councilman Justin Brannan for being caught a few times on speed cameras --- when less than a day earlier, he was praising and posing with former State Senator Martin Golden, who had been notorious for the following deadly driving behaviors: killing a senior citizen with his oversized luxury SUV while "accelerating" immediately after a light had just changed [ Golden then paid a huge amount to keep everything quiet with the family of the deceased]; chasing a cyclist for several blocks, even going through solid red lights during the pursuit, because the cyclist had documented Golden's prior violation of traffic laws with his official vehicle; and Golden's being a notorious speed camera scofflaw, with about ten times the number of photo hits on speed cameras as Fox said Brannan had committed
How do Brian Fox and the Brian Fox campaign team let themselves get caught this far off-base and leaning the wrong way >>> time, after time, after time ???
It's because nobody in the Fox campaign cares about any of it. They know that Brian Fox stinks on ice as a candidate; and nobody is really supporting the Fox campaign with significant money and other resources.

For Bob Capano this is a skillful killing of two birds with one stone. Whereas the Brian Fox team's embrace of killer/speeder Marty G. before going after Brannan for speeding showed that with their technique, they can only scare the birds away before they get to throw their stones.

He certainly hasn't packed in many donations from any recognizanle group of successful business types.

Anyone wanting to help Ghorra should not mention Eaton, a man most of Ghorra’s own executive committee wishes were still Chairman. I doubt Eaton has any sour grapes at all. He left while on top due to personal family reasons and at that time the Brooklyn GOP was thriving.
I have seen him talking to Ghorra around Bay Ridge and they seem to have a good relationship.
But I know Eaton must be disappointed that all the gains he made in 10 years have all gone down the drain. The Brooklyn GOP is a joke today under Ghorra and we need a new Chairman to take over the reins before it evaporates totally.

Somebody needs to tell Brian that his opponent's name isn't pronounced like "Brennan" it's "BRANNAN" with a sound like the word "and" or the name "Ann"
The "BIG LIE" about the whole press conference was that most of Brannan's tickets are parking violations not speeding violations. Plus it wasn't a press conference at all.
