When Uncle Fester says, "Why, it's Un-American !!!" --- what he really means is "It's un-Democratic" (small "u" -- big "D")

Because everybody knows in their hearts and souls that the only way "Uncle Fester" Joe Biden became POTUS was by the open and notorious theft of the 2020 Election for President in about half a dozen key states.....  Most of the states in the United States are in the process of reforming their state voting laws and rules to make a repeat stolen election for President and other offices more difficult in the future

In President Biden's first news conference earlier today, he called all such voter integrity legislation "Unamerican" and "undemocratic,"  saying:  "What I'm worried about is how un-American this whole initiative is....  It's sick ....  It is all designed...  [t]he Republican voters I know find this despicable, Republican voters....  I’m convinced that we’ll be able to stop this, because it is the most pernicious thing—this makes Jim Crow look like Jim Eagle...."

That's why Uncle Fester, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer are pulling out all of the stops to pass HR-1, the so-called  "For the People Act of 2021"  ---  and part of that effort is their attempt to completely overturn the rules, practices and traditions of the U.S. Senate going back over two hundred years

In response, the top Republican in the U.S. government, Mitch McConnell, said this with respect to the bill that President Biden was pushing, HR.1 (now being considered by the U.S. Senate as "S.1"):   "So this is not about anything other than trying to help the Democrats win elections in perpetuity....  They want to change the system to benefit themselves and they want to have instead of a referee they want the FEC to be a prosecutor...." 

What Uncle Fester didn't make clear today was how a category of such varied pieces of legislation and rules across the length and breadth of this country in a majority of states could be "undemocratic" if it all was being passed by the democratically elected legislatures or Election Boards duly empowered by such legislatures, and in many instances also signed-off by the democratically elected governors in those states.

What Uncle Mitch hasn't made clear is that  ---  what the scant Democrat majorities in the U.S. House and Senate are trying to do is to make their thefts of the Presidency and several House and Senate seats in the 2020 elections permanent by means of a very political piece of legislation that is not only cynical and disruptive, it is  unconstitutional in many ways and destructive of the very architecture of all government in the United States, both federal and state.
