Although the quote seemed to specifically target U.S. Attorney General William Barr --- Trump's appointee and a well-known Republican --- the same is absolutely true about most Republicans active at the national, state and local level
Brooklyn Republicans, look in the mirror and ask yourself --- why am I, the Brooklyn GOP leadership and everybody active in the Brooklyn Republican Party such wimps --- just like Trump described them to Rush Limbaugh.
It's long past the time for Republicans to start playing "the tough game" like the Democrats.

As for Capano having played the "tough game" against Justin Brannan, I have seen none of it.....
As to anything between Bob, Liam Ambrose and John Q, and who might really have a "tough game" --- all anybody really knows is that Bob is the one with the smallest hands and feet.
One thing that Brannan, McCabe and Quaglione have in common is that they have all laughed at and about Bob for a long time; and none of them are even close to their last laugh.

John Catsimatidis, Curtis Sliwa and Bob Capano have several things in common. The first, foremost and most indisputable is that none of them can get elected to any office in a general election --- the Brooklyn GOP should have had its fill of "dead men walking" candidates like these "Three Amigos."
Now that the three of them appear to be all-in for Vito Bruno as their "law and order" candidate for the state senate; they need to be crucified on/to Vito Bruno like he is now THEIR cross to bear; along with scourgings, crowns of thorns, marches up the mount of the "Skull Place" with the crosses of Vito Bruno on each of their their backs, and each of them nailed tightly to that cross of Vito Bruno.

Capano needs to track down all that stink coming out of his day job. It seems like a bad stench that's a combination of very old and curdled milk, liquified and ammoniated shell fish and lots of steak that has the color and texture of calves liver.
