This comment and his recent performance at the Dyker Heights Civic Association Debate a few nights back clearly demonstrate that Bruno is absolutely clueless about the issues of crime and punishment, and how they relate to law enforcement and/or the level of crime on the streets of our communities.

If we want bail reform repealed we have to re-elect Gounardes. He is in the Senate Majority and they can fix bail reform. If elected, Vito will be shouting from the hallway and nothing will get changed.
The debate sounds kinda dull. I heard the Dyker Heights Civic Association tried to get Bob Capano to moderate the event but there were to many scheduling issues.

The other day an 85 year old lady was the victim of an attempted rape on marine avenue by a man from one of Andy G homeless shelters. Ronald lauders PAC has spent over 150k on Vito in an attempt to block the dems from a supermajority in the senate. Not that any of this matters to the out of town out of touch malcontents on the loser gop blog.

I've run a ton of searches, and I found not one denunciation of the KKK, Proud Boys, militias, Q Anon or any other of the right conspiracy sites.
At least one close relative of a strong Vito Bruno supporter tried to make the Proud Boys a part of mainstream Republicanism a few years ago at one of her club's events in Manhattan. Now, she, like Vito Bruno, doesn't want to talk about what went on at her club in the past.

The facts are that somebody with Bob Capano's personality structure has to be envious of John Quaglione.
Whenever John Quaglione and Bob Capano competed directly against each other, Q beat Capano like and egg in a high speed blender, and Bob was virtually denatured and completely homogenized, rendering Bob a bitter former- and anti-Republican splinter party troll. As a result, Capano has no bona fides with any mainstream Republican anywhere. In their last election, John Quaglione made a mess of whatever plan that Bob Capano, who was a very sore loser to John Quaglione in the 2017 Republican Primary, might have had going forward. Quaglione bested Bob Capano by 12,100 votes to 281 votes in the general election --- that's more than a four thousand percent (4000%) beating. That was significantly more than the already brutal beating that Quaglione gave to Capano in the 2017 Republican Primary, where Q humiliated Capano, 1865 to 579, that's a 323% better Republican vote for Mr. Quaglione.
All in all, this shows that Bob Capano has a vey good reason to envy John Quaglione. And when it comes to anything political in Bob Capano's future, Capano most likely not only envies John Quaglione, he fears him as both an unstoppable force and an immovable object in the Republican Party for anything that Bob Capano might want to do in that party.

Bruno may not be the strongest candidate, but I’ll still vote for him over Gournades. Gournades did nothing in these 2 years except not keep promises and consistently side with the majority on nearly every single issue. I watched nearly all the state senate sessions since 2017, Gournades is just a rubber stamp for everything Stewart-Cousins and Gianarris push forward. He went along with them on pretty much everything.
If they can pull off a win for Vito here, we’ll at least be served the same as we’ve been by Gounardes, and potentially better if he leverages his position in a swing district to both sides of the aisle.
