THE WALL STREET JOURNAL TELLS JOE BIDEN --- to tell everybody about Hunter Biden's pattern of influence peddling and to fess up about his own financial dealings

Late Tuesday, the "Wall Street Journalsaid that former Vice President Joe Biden needed to answer questions about his son Hunter Biden’s “influence-peddling” and “his own financial dealings — notably regarding China....”  ---  and it particularly asked Joe Biden to answer whether he was "the big guy" referred to in Hunter Biden's E-mails.....

The "Wall Street Journal" editorial noted recent stories appearing in the "New York Post" that showed that Hunter Biden had been exploring a lucrative business deal in 2017 with the CEFC China Energy Co. in which somebody referred to as “the big guy” — allegedly Joe Biden himself — would be receiving a 10% share of the take

Here is a substantial portion of what the "Wall Street Journal" editorial board had to say:

"Most of the media is ignoring the emails found in Hunter Biden’s laptop, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t news. Joe Biden has an obligation to answer questions about his son’s influence-peddling and his own financial dealings—notably regarding China....  The emails regarding Hunter’s business in Ukraine have been widely reported. But as intriguing is a May 2017 email thread that includes a discussion about 'remuneration packages' for six people as part of a business deal with a now-defunct Chinese energy titan, CEFC China Energy. The Chinese company was international news a few years ago, after the U.S. government charged a CEFC-funded organization with money laundering, and its CEO was detained by Chinese authorities. CNN reported in 2018 that “at its height” CEFC was “hard to distinguish” from the Chinese government....  According to the emails, both Bidens were in line in 2017 to benefit from a deal with CEFC. One email appears to identify Hunter Biden as 'Chair/Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC.'   It also refers to financial payments in terms of '20' for 'H' and '10 held by H for the big guy....' ...  Joe Biden ought to clear the air on this China business in his own political interest...."

And the "Wall Street Journal" specifically put this question to Joe Biden  ---  "Is he the 'big guy' in the email?"

Just shake hands with Jeffrey Toobin and be done with it.

2016 Hillary brought down by emails

2020 Biden brought down by emails

2021 Bob brought down by picture of him drinking a can of beer on the R train while pregnant woman stands in front of the slob.

We all know who the "big guy" is. I'll give you a hint. He's a businessman, professor, columnist, and after the sweeping GOP victory he'll be the kingmaker in 2021.

Trump will carry Staten Island by double digits just like 2016. So why would people vote for Max?
Is it because he voted to impeach Trump?
Is it because he supports defunding police?

I guess people will vote for Max because Vito Bruno managed a nightclub 40 years ago.

Vito Bruno was in a club 40 years ago !! Well now I'm voting for DSA Andy.

251, no you professional ass-wiper!

Vito Bruno wasn't just 'in a club 40 years ago.' For decades, he ran bucket of blood operations where illegal guns and drugs were part of the atmosphere that the beautiful rich people wanted to wallow in enjoying Vito Bruno's brand of afterhours sex, drugs & rock'n'roll.
Vito Bruno has admitted paying-off cops with large cash 'gifts' and procuring drugs for his special clients. As the acknowledged 'guru' of the 'outlaw party' and events business, Vito Bruno stood by and watched as his protege and apprentice in the "outlaw" party and events trade was convicted of the murder of a drug dealer, who worked their events.

The street crime is not going to matter.

Graffiti in the subways is back. The only one who knows the value of a buck is obviously the comptroller Scott Stringer. He'll make it work.

Looks like Rudy pulled a Toobin.

Iran is sending hate filled emails discouraging people to vote. Explains why out of more than 25,000 votes cast for city council Bob only got 278 votes. It was Iran that did Bob in.

Bob got 278 votes. And he only spent $36,856.

I sense a new post by Gale. A few hours ago the DN put the nail in Vitos coffin and his spokesman "Nick Chambles" put the final nail.
Story is about Neo Nazi postings by yes you guessed it. Ray Ranalattabullshit.
Pictures by Ray of hitler, mussolini and vito. And the DN quotes a guy appropriately named "Chambles" giving the big response.
"we havent seen him in a few weeks".

way to go nick

UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "WA-PO ALLOWS OPINION PIECE TO CALL FOR A SPECIAL PROSECUTOR FOR THE HUNTER BIDEN FINANCIAL ALLEGATIONS" EDITION

HUGH HEWITT A WASHINGTON POST OPINION COLUMNIST HAS BEEN ALLOWED TO SPEAK OUT AND SAY THAT:

"Attorney General William P. Barr should appoint a special counsel to investigate Hunter Biden’s financial dealings and any involvement of former vice president Joe Biden, as well as to take over from U.S. Attorney John Durham the investigation into the 2016 election and transition and whether any illegal government interference occurred with either.... And Barr should do so immediately — before the election...." MORE WALL STREET JOURNAL UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "BIDEN STORY IS NOW PART OF THE EVERYDAY COVERAGE BEING PRINTED IN THE WALL STREET JOURNAL" EDITION

WSI ONE-TWO PUNCH TELLS THE LATEST NEWS ABOUT >>> TONY BOBULINSKI <<< A FORMER PARTNER OF HUNTER BIDEN'S --- WHO SAID THAT HIS AND HUNTER BIDEN'S BUSINESS DEALINGS DEFINITELY AND DIRECTLY INVOLVED DEMOCRAT PRESIDENTIAL NOMINEE JOE BIDEN AS A PARTICIPANT --- AND IT ALSO DESCRIBES HOW THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA IS PLAYING-DOWN THE STORY

HERE'S HOW WSJ ASSISSTANT EDITOR JAMES FREEMAN INTRODUCED THE STORY IN HIS COLUMN:

"At this hour many news consumers remain trapped behind the Silicon Curtain. Nevertheless word continues to spread about the Biden family business, thanks to an underground publication founded by Alexander Hamilton in 1801. The latest story from the New York Post, which shares common ownership with the Journal, comes courtesy of veteran columnist Michael Goodwin. He reports a statement from a Biden business partner who says that Joe Biden was involved in the family influence-peddling racket, including with China.... If it’s true that Joe Biden was accepting influence payments, including from Chinese entities, then he should immediately quit the presidential race. But the press has been largely uninterested in pursuing this story. Today Newsweek’s Jason Lemon made an effort and writes: 'Newsweek reached out to the Joe Biden presidential campaign and Hunter Biden’s lawyer for comment, but they did not respond by the time of publication.'...

James Freeman then turned his attention to NPR. '... [T]he biggest reason you haven’t heard much on NPR about the Post story is that the assertions don’t amount to much.... We don’t want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we don’t want to waste the listeners’ and readers’ time on stories that are just pure distractions,” NPR Managing Editor for News Terence Samuel told me. 'And quite frankly, that’s where we ended up, this was … a politically driven event and we decided to treat it that way.'.... This column warned yesterday that if the Post reporting continued to hold up, some media folk might quickly pivot from arguing that the revelations were so damning they must be part of a hostile Russian intelligence operation against the United States to arguing that actually the Biden emails aren’t damning at all. Just typical swamp behavior?... ( See "Now Corruption Story Is About Joe, Not Hunter -- How long can the media blackout continue?" by James Freeman, 10/22/2020, Wall Street Journal/ Opinion/ Best of the Web [https://www.wsj.com/articles/now-corruption-story-is-about-joe-not-hunter-11603392288]).

Here is the ultimate statement of James Freemans "Wall Street Journal" column about the current scandal connecting Hunter and Joe Biden to business entities in the Ukraine and China, and the Biden family involvement in questionable overseas financial schemes >>> "This column takes a back seat to no one in skepticism about the Beltway establishment. But given the documented overseas riches collected by the Biden family, it would be patently unfair to claim that the average Washingtonian is as corrupt as the former vice president."

MORE UPDATE & BACKFILL ABOUT THE WSJ: THE "BEST WALL STREET JOURNAL COVERAGE TO DATE" EDITION

THIS COVERAGE OF THE HUNTER & JOE BIDEN CHINESE FINANCIAL DEALS SCANDAL INCORPORATES WHAT TONY BOBULINSKI'S TEXT MESSAGES AND E-MAILS CONTAINED, WHICH WAS ASSOCIATED WITH HIS TIME AS CEO OF SINOHAWK HOLDINGS, A JOINT VENTURE INVOLVING BOBULINSKI, THE BIDENS, CEFC CHINA ENERGY AND OTHERS

Kimberley Strassel hammered Joe Biden with an in depth analysis of the Biden Family overseas financial adventures >>> ".... [A] former business partner of Hunter Biden’s has come forward to provide the ugly details of the 'family brand.' Tony Bobulinski, a Navy veteran and institutional investor, has provided the Journal emails and text messages associated with his time as CEO of Sinohawk Holdings, a venture between the Bidens and CEFC China Energy, a Shanghai-based conglomerate. That correspondence corroborates and expands on emails recently published by the New York Post, which says they come from a Hunter laptop...." (See "The Biden ‘Family Legacy’ -- What we learned from the text messages of Hunter’s partner Tony Bobulinski" by Kimberley A. Strassel, 10/22/2020, Wall Street Journal/ Opinion/ Potomac Watch [https://www.wsj.com/articles/the-biden-family-legacy-11603409528]).

Her column ended with this: ".... The former vice president is running on trust and good judgment. The Hunter tale is at best the story of a wayward son and indulgent father. At worst, it is an example of the entire Biden clan cashing in on its name with a U.S. rival. As Mr. Biden refuses to answer questions about this case, voters will have to make up their own minds. But given Hunter’s exploits in China, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and elsewhere, much more is yet to come—in the next week and a half and potentially [into] a Biden presidency."

UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "NY TIMES IS FINALLY DOING A LITTLE 'CATCH-UP' BUT IT'S VERY LITTLE" EDITION

THE NEW YORK TIMES SHOWS UP A DAY OR TWO LATE (Late Thursday) --- AND A POUND OR TWO SHORT

The New York Times has finally gotten around to doing a little coverage of the Hunter and Joe Biden foreign financial dealings scandal. However, the Times' largely critical analysis is days behind where the story is at this time..... The "Paper of Record" is still chasing its own tail with a story about the Hunter Biden laptop and all the questions about its provenance..... [[[There is no indication in the Times article that some of what was on Hunter Biden's computer has been verified or confirmed by other sources, or that more than one witness has come forward with documentary and anecdotal evidence inculpating Vice President Biden in his son's deals]]] (See "What We Know and Don’t About Hunter Biden and a Laptop" by Adam Goldman, 10/22/2020, NY Times [https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/22/us/politics/hunter-biden-laptop.html]).
