Vito's statements on any of the issues that he raises are so flimsy and threadbare, calling them out as superficial, trite and disconnected to the real lives of the people living in his district would give them more weight and distinction than they deserve
Right now, the best that Vito can do is show the, now quite boring, collage of pictures of Andrew Gounardes standing near Governor Andrew Cuomo and Mayor Bill de Blasio --- and those unrelated and out of any meaningful context photos are arbitrarily being used by Vito Bruno to loosely connect a proposed shutdown of schools to his opponent
Even worse, is one of Vito Bruno's banner "law and order" issues >>> his opposition to "bail reform" <<< He trots out that old chestnut whenever there is an incident of crime in Bay Ridge or Dyker Heights; however, Vito has repeatedly failed to connect those criminal incidents to anybody benefitting from bail reform.....
Most recently, Ratso Vito Bruno was whining about his classic fail in getting the whole Angel Guardian building complex designated a "landmark," instead of only the Angel Guardian Home itself, which was landmarked with the support of Vito Bruno's opponent.....
There is only one way to describe Whiney Ratso Vito Bruno as a Republican-Conservative candidate for the state senate. As one of Mr. Bruno's earliest supporters would say it --- "He's pathetic, just pathetic !!!"

Law and Order is the only issue. Law and Order is the only thing on at 10 pm.
Vito Bruno thinks that law and order must give way to his 'business' deals, and funding the police means paying off cops to protect his 'business' deals.
When you see or hear Vito Bruno, remember all the murders and drugs deals that went down at his hip-hop night clubs and at his after hours clubs over the years. Remember that Vito Bruno resisted local, state and/or federal authorities that were constantly working to shut down Vito's clubs as public nuisances and sites of criminal activities. Also remember that Vito Bruno remains unrepentant about all of the blood on his hands and on his money; in fact, he keeps trying to cash in on all of that with a variety of 'promotions' harkening back to his hip-hop clubs and his after-hours action.
11:15 neglected to point out that in 1983 Vito drove a car without wearing his seat belt.
Was that in the Rolls-Royce limousine that Vito lent to John Belushi in 1982 to get him out of Bruno's AM/PM afterhours club, when Bruno gave Belushi a cocktail of very heavy drugs that were similar to some of the drugs found in Belushi's system after his death a few days later?

It's in the 1983 NY Times article where Vito Bruno admitted to his part in all the police corruption and where Arthur Weinstein and Vito Bruno were first publicly connected to that massive NYPD corruption scandal.
How does the Republican-Conservative candidate for the state senate have the balls to try and deny any of it, or how can Vito try to say now that Arthur Weinstein wasn't also talking about Vito and Vito's business activities in the 2004 article in "The Guardian"?
Vito Bruno is an albatross around the neck of Robert Capano. By pushing a candidate like Vito Bruno, with so much unlawful, irresponsible and even sociopathic personal and "business" behavior. past and present, Bob Capano has shown that he is neither an honest reporter nor an honest broker in Republican Party politics: and moreover, he is unfit for any office involving the public trust.
Capano has limited involvement in the Bruno operation.
Bob has been an interloper in all things not GOP.

If Capano dares to run, both Liam Ambrose McCAbe and John Q. Public will run against him, and Capano will finish a distant third in that race, again, and John Q. would win again. There is no debate about that among Brooklyn GOP insiders.
