Even a leading Democrat supporter of Eric Adams is bemoaning the confusion caused by the application of "ranked-choice voting" for the first time in yesterday's city-wide Democratic Primary --- even suggesting another referendum on the issue --- “New Yorkers deserve a chance to weigh in on whether they find this acceptable, and if ranked-choice voting and the confusion it has spurred is eroding their confidence in our democracy.”
At best, the elections in 2020 and 2021 were ersatz versions of democracy, jerry-rigged by the "Left"; and so far those elections have been fully exploited by the "Left" to seize an outsized chunk of power over the rest of us, both locally and nationally..... Does anybody think that GOP candidates like Curtis Sliwa, or Brian Fox, or Mark Szuszkiewicz even have a clue about any of that ??? How soon do you think they will be ready to debate about any of it against their Democratic opponents ?????

Gale I know you’re obsessed with seeing fat Justin re-elected to the City Council but your bullying of Brian Fox is uncalled for. This guy is not a serious candidate. Leave him alone. He’s raised around $7,000 and still hasn’t qualified for matching funds. The next thing on his filing report should be an expense for buying a children’s book version: how a bill becomes a law.

Just yesterday, President Joe Biden cavalierly said that "insurrectionists" would need a lot more than guns to take on a U.S. government, which is well-equipped with a nuclear arsenal and advanced jet airplanes. Contrariwise, even some of Biden's supporters have said that Mr. Biden's inflammatory remarks yesterday undercut some Democrat leaders, who had argued that America almost lost its democracy during January's Capitol Hill riot by almost completely unarmed Trump supporters, urged-on by Trump and his now-repeatedly banned lawyer Giuliani.

The vicious politically motivated assault on Quags door is what turned the election around for him. Don’t delude yourselves people. Liam, Morgan, Chapin, were the biggest winners on Tuesday night. They did minimal work for poor sucker Mateo and each made a fortune. They charged him tens of thousands in consulting fees for junior high school production quality commercials and parking him on Staten Island having him chase down cars while they fought the battle of who could nap better from the air conditioned offices also paid for by Mateo. Anybody who helped Sliwa got a pat on the back and a new donation form to fill out for the general. Oh and a nice image of fifteen cats living with him in a tiny studio apartment.
