Is another big election steal in the works in the New York City ranked-choice-vote primary ???

In the last twelve hours or so, the 2021 Democratic Primary has been thrown into turmoil  ---  and it remains to be seen whether that turmoil turns into an absolute fiasco

Shades of election night 2020, where the election turned from a clear re-election victory for President Donald Trump into a "Big Steal" in about half a dozen key states, resulting in the faux-election of a faux-POTUS named "Biden"

Fast forward to the 2021 NYC Primary  >>>  Democrat mayoral candidate Eric Adams had what was described on Primary Night as a "commanding lead"  ---  and just two days ago, an "insurmountable lead"  >>>  then,  POOF !!!  TO THE "COMMANDING" - "INSURMOUNTABLE" LEAD FOR ADAMS

And now the New York City Board of Elections is saying  >>>   "STOP, WAIT, BUT, ER..., BUT, WAIT, STOP  ---  OOPS !!!  WHAT A GOOF.....  WE'LL GET BACK TO YOU SOON WITH BETTER NUMBERS  ---  WE PROMISE.....  JUST A SIMPLE MISTAKE THAT WE CAN FIX, NOTHING TO SEE HERE  ---  WE PROMISE....." <<<

An interesting concatenation of cascading "votes" apparently resulted in Eric Adams' lead over his next closest opponent, Kathryn Garcia, dropping to just two percent (2%).  When Mr. Adams' people watching the count complained about readily apparent anomalies in the new numbers, the NYC BOE supposedly quickly found their "mistake".....  A large tranche (traunch) of votes were the result of "test image votes" accidentally being counted as real votes;  and another tranche of votes were the result of certain misplaced "absentee" ballots that were tabulated after primary night.

Not to worry, the BOE temporarily "stopped the count" (When did we hear that before ???  ---  Oh yeah, election night 2020 !!! )  to look into things and fix the problems.....

According to the BOE, this is not a systemic problem with the ranked choice-voting mayoral primary  ---  it is a simple mistake that can be simply fixed. [Just give us time to put that fix in there.....  for good.....]

To us, this is more Democrat corruption, with their NYC Republican partners standing by at their sides, and participating in all of it with their passivity. When elections can no longer be relied upon to give the people representative government, the people need to take to the streets and re-establish representative government by "any and all means necessary" under the Constitution.

Brian Fox hits a new low in any campaign for public office --- with repeated demonstrable lies about his opponent --- falsely amplified by links to articles that do not support the lies

 

A recent social media post by Brian Fox says this:  "... Surprised pro-crime, anti-police Councilman Justin Brannan is supporting Eric Adams who is carrying an anti-crime message as part of his campaign. We can't forget his Bay Ridge Dems supported Dianne Morales - another person who stands against law enforcement and promotes antifa like Brannan...." Needless to say, the "Albany Times-Union" article focused on an Albany-based player named Jeffrey Wait, who is now an Albany-area judge. My sources indicated that some NYC dailies are looking closely into this report by the Office of the Kings County District Attorney, and they are focusing on several local players in Brooklyn.  Some had once been in the Brooklyn DA's Office of Charles Hynes; while others were active in county-wide Democrat machine politics in the 1990s in the courts downtown, nearby on Court Street , and in Windsor Terrace, Kensington, Park Slope, and Sunset Park. Those pols not only worked directly with the Board of Elections and the prosecutors, which is clearly reflected in the Brooklyn DA's report; their is plenty of stuff that shows they also communicated directly with many of the judges that were handling the O'Hara case[s] at their various stages.

After all these years, this latest coverage of the currently pending O'Hara case [this time brought by him for damages to his person and to his career] is suddenly growing faster than "Topsy".....

Speaking at the White House this past Wednesday, the President of the United States falsely stated that  >>>  "The Second Amendment, from the day it was passed, limited the type of people who could own a gun and what type of weapon you could own. You couldn’t buy a cannon...."

While mocking the Second Amendment with a patently false history of the rights it protects, President Joseph Biden went on to say that people who supported the right to bear arms would need nuclear weapons and advanced jet fighter planes in order to take on the United States government

Here are the most offensive, provocative  --- and yes threatening  ---  quotes made by a POTUS in a very, very long time:

The best news for right thinking New Yorkers is that Eric Adams did VERY WELL in the count at the end of Primary Day

 

Now, let's see if the "Left" can STEAL this NYC Democratic Primary in 2021 in the same way that they stole the national elections for POTUS and several U.S. Senate seats in 2020

Even a leading Democrat supporter of Eric Adams is bemoaning the confusion caused by the application of "ranked-choice voting"  for the first time in yesterday's city-wide Democratic Primary  ---  even suggesting another referendum on the issue  ---  “New Yorkers deserve a chance to weigh in on whether they find this acceptable, and if ranked-choice voting and the confusion it has spurred is eroding their confidence in our democracy.”

At best, the elections in 2020 and 2021 were ersatz versions of democracy, jerry-rigged by the "Left";  and so far those elections have been fully exploited by the "Left" to seize an outsized chunk of power over the rest of us, both locally and nationally.....  Does anybody think that GOP candidates like Curtis Sliwa, or Brian Fox, or Mark Szuszkiewicz even have a clue about any of that ???  How soon do you think they will be ready to debate about any of it against their Democratic opponents ?????

Given the current state of the Republican Party in New York City; the only thing that matters tomorrow is the result of the Democrat Primary for Mayor

 

Both Curtis Sliwa and Fernando Mateo suck as mayoral candidates  ---  neither deserves to be selected as the GOP candidate for Mayor of NYC tomorrow  ---  and there is no circumstance that would justify anyone to vote for either one of them  ---  either tomorrow or in November  >>>  ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A REAL REPUBLICAN.....

Anybody that tells you anything good about either of these guys is flat out   >>> LYING <<<  (Be sure to note:  at this moment both Bob Capano and Marty Golden are at the top of that list of liars for what they are telling you about that Slithery Snake Sliwa [since Sliwa would seem to be the likely winner tomorrow,  I expect to be having the joy of pounding salt up Bob Capano's and Marty Golden's asses all through the fall])

The best way for Republicans to vote tomorrow is with their feet  ---  give this GOP primary a pass* along with the sucky GOP candidates for mayor.....

Surely, there is some youngish Republican (or certainly a newish one) out there, who can fly an X-Wing fighter deep into the enemy's most secure spaces and knock out the Death Star

One thing is for sure,  anybody presenting an image of  himself with an obvious "Death Grip" on a hamburger and bun at a recent event for one of the few Republicans that represents success for some Brooklyn Republicans and Conservatives is not one of the things most of us might find appealing in any of our hoped-for new Republican leaders and/or candidates..... 

There is nothing new to say about the Brooklyn GOP or anybody connected to it.....

There is more activity coming out of  a prehistoric insect encased and preserved in amber than what anybody can see coming out of the Brooklyn GOP and the very few candidates running on their line in 2021 elections

From top to bottom there will be no competitive candidate running for any office on the Republican Party line in 2021

Here are today's whoppers: 1) a City Council Candidate, like let's say Brian Fox, can't vote on NY State Senate Bills and Bills in the NYS Assembly (and neither can City Councilmen); and 2) City Councilmen don't "Sign" NY State Senate Bills and Bills in the NYS Assembly.....

Republican-Conservative candidate for City Council Brian Fox is still making BAD NEWS with his "Big Lie" about the Memorial Day Parade

 

Following the lead of those of us on this independent Republican blog, an opinionator, who is well-known for his  writing in the "... Reporter" newspapers, called out the big dark man with the ill-fitting jackets, who always seems to have too many Conservative Party members surrounding and advising him  >>>  for spreading lies that are even bigger, fatter, and darker than he is.....

For those that missed it, candidate for City Council in and for the 43rd Council District Brian Fox decided to follow the advice of some genius in his campaign and try to foist the "Big Lie" that his Democrat opponent, New York City Councilman Justin Brannan, had some hand in cancelling the 2021 Memorial Day "Parade" in Bay Ridge  >>>  WHEN NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH

The story of that Brian Fox "Big Lie" is now being retold very well by a columnist named Jay Brown in an "opinion piece" ---  in the "Home Reporter" and on his own site  ---  tying it in to a pattern of "big lies" by candidate Fox  ---  and then making a linkage to some apparent pattern of similar "lies" engulfing the GOP generally 

Although we here agree with the Brian Fox stuff by Mr. Brown, which is both well-written and well-reported, the rest is just routine lib-tard whining

Columnist Jay Brown summed it up about Brian Fox' most recently blown-up falsehood like this:  "....   a City Council candidate saying a parade was canceled because a political opponent did not care to save it, but then also attending the parade a few days later.... is lazy and it is only done because some think that all of us are lazy. Due to the pandemic, the 154th edition was held as a motorcade for the second year in a row, though this year’s was expanded, with the reintroduction of a parade float and an invitation for anyone to join the procession....  Despite the event taking place on Memorial Day, if you had only read certain social media posts at the beginning of the holiday weekend, you would have believed that it was canceled and that it was all Councilman Justin Brannan’s fault. Obviously, that was not the case....  On the Friday before Memorial Day, Brannan’s challenger in this year’s election promoted the idea that the Memorial Day event would not take place “down the streets of Bay Ridge” and that it was “not a priority of Councilman Justin Brannan.” But the event was set to take place and Brannan had offered to help organizers make sure it continued....  Raymond Aalbue, Executive Director of United Military Veterans of Kings County and organizer of the Brooklyn Memorial Day Parade, explained weeks before this year’s event that even though the recent easing of COVID restrictions would have probably allowed for their normal parade format, “it was just too late. We started planning our parade in September, October last year.” He added that “the committee of mainly Veterans that runs this parade did this as a collective decision.”...  The same political candidate stating on May 28 that the Memorial Day event had been cancelled, was at the very Memorial Day event three days later, as it took place. This same candidate had said on May 12 that Brannan’s district office “for years… sadly is always closed,” even though Brannan has kept his office open throughout the entire pandemic...."

MAKE NO MISTAKE, WE HERE ON THIS BLOG DON'T BELIEVE OR ENDORSE EVERYTHING THAT JAY BROWN SAID IN HIS COLUMN IN THE "HOME REPORTER" AND HIS SITE "WITHIN WRITES".....

Needless to say, we here completely part ways with Mr. Jay Brown where he generalizes (and then particularizes) about the imagined, purported, reported and alleged "Big Lies" of President Trump and the national GOP.....   Nonethless, we agree with him for 'belling the cat" of several of the "Big Lies" of Brian Fox, especially the whoppers about the 2021 Memorial Day Parade and related matters.
