As this Armed Forces Day 2015 draws to a close — LET US NOT FORGET — How Truly Anti-military Hillary Clinton is

ALL HAIL TO THE HEROES  —  AND DAMN THOSE  —  WHO DON’T GIVE THEM THEIR DUE

THAT BRINGS US TO HILLARY CLINTON  —  AND WHAT WE SHOULD NEVER FORGET ABOUT HER AND THE U.S. MILITARY  —   SHE HAS A DEEP AND ABIDING DISDAIN FOR THEM —   GOING ALL THE WAY BACK TO HER ANTI- VIET NAM WAR DAYS

Don’t buy into the false Hillary Clinton narratives put out there by her supporters  —  that she supports the troops and the vets  —   all of that is just a convenient political pose  —   when it comes to real soldiers in real combat, the real Hillary Clinton is  “... an incredible liar, a valor thief, a fabulist. And dangerous....”

There are many uplifting features and stories about the U.S. military and its members on this Armed Forces weekend. That is appropriate, because in this very difficult historical period from 9/11/2001 through the present day; as a nation, we have asked our soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen, Coasties, and Black-Ops and off-book fighters to do much more than their share of the heavy lifting.

“All Hail !  To All The Heroes....”  However, given the subject matter of this post, I will not be discussing or citing to any of those laudatory articles, although many would be quite worthy of mention over this weekend.

My focus in this post will be at the far end of the spectrum of military exaltation —  in the nether precincts of Hillary Clinton, and her legion of baser and lesser operatives, who would use Armed Forces Day and America's Armed Services personnel as political props.

FOR A START —  IN 2008 HILLARY CLINTON LIED ABOUT HER OWN “QUASI-MILITARY” EXPERIENCE IN BOSNIA DURING 1996

First, just like NBC’s Brian Williams, Hillary Clinton has her own made up stories about being in war zones and under fire.

In his comparison of the “battlefield” lies of Hillary Clinton and Brian Williams, Washington Times reporter Joseph Curl said that Hillary Clinton’s are by far the worse of the two. “...  In March 2008, giving a foreign policy speech on Iraq, she was talking about her days as first lady and a trip to Tuzla, Bosnia.  In her speech,  she delivered an unbelievable tale.... [Here’s what Hillary said:]  ‘I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base.’...” (See “Forget Brian Williams, it’s Hillary Clinton’s lie that matters” by Joseph Curl, 2/8/15, The Washington Times [http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/feb/8/jospeh-curl-forget-brian-williams-its-hillary-clin/?page=all]).

But that wasn’t all of it, Hillary repeated and refined her lie(s). Joseph Curl pointed out that “...  [I]t didn’t happen. None of it. Right after the speech, she was asked about the sniper fire.  ‘There was no greeting ceremony, and we basically were told to run to our cars. Now, that is what happened,’ she lied.....   A week later, she changed her whole story, telling the Philadelphia Daily News editorial board that she ‘misspoke.’ Yes, she said that word. When [Hillary Clinton] said snipers had fired at her, when really a little girl had given her a poem, that was her just ‘misspeaking.’...  The next day, she told reporters: ‘So I made a mistake. That happens. It shows I’m human, which for some people is a revelation.’...   Ha ha, oh, she’s so lovely — and human....  Oh, and an incredible liar, a valor thief, a fabulist. And dangerous....”

Although Joseph Curl’s comparison was done earlier this year, following the accusations of false reporting by Brian Williams; there were many contemporary reports in 2008 of Hillary Clinton’s repeated “exaggeration of ” or “mis-speaking” about her helicopter landing in Tuzla, Bosnia in 1996 (See e.g., “Clinton says she 'misspoke' about sniper fire” by Alan Duke, Steve Brusk & Mike Rose, 3/26/15, CNN [http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/03/25/campaign.wrap/index.html?iref=hpmostpop]). In the lengthy CCN article, it was pointed out that Hillary Clinton had also given some versions of the same false story before the one that finally got her into trouble.  In other words, Hillary had been telling the story for quite some time, but she didn’t get around to saying that she mis-spoke until about a week after she got caught.

All of the above is but a prelude. The specific mendacity, self-aggrandizement and attempted stolen valor of Hillary Clinton’s 2008 account of the 1996 incident is not the main thrust of this post. It is only a graphic demonstration that Hillary will do or say anything to improve her image viv a vis those that actually are put in harm’s way in their service to this country. It is her actual feelings and some of her behavior towards members of the armed forces that is the central focus of the piece.

ATTEMPTED USE OF ARMED FORCES DAY 2015 AS A HILLARY CLINTON CAMPAIGN MOMENT

Earlier on Saturday, Armed Forces Day 2015,  I was “sent” a tweet, which appeared in my E-mail that said this:
“[Knockoff Galewyn Massey Twitter Account]   5h 5 hours ago
Today- Armed Forces Day. Lets elect leaders who care about veterans well-being when they come home #HillaryForAmerica”
Apart from the fact that the wording only reflects some kind of vague care or concern only for “veterans well-being when the come home....”,  the implication is that Hillary Clinton is a “leader,” who has such a care or concern for veterans. However, history demonstrates that such a proposition is so much bunk, and that accuracy and setting the record straight requires it be debunked.

CLINTONS HAD MILITARY OFFICERS “READ-IN” CIVILIANS WITHOUT PROPER CLEARANCES ON IMPORTANT MILITARY SECRETS

One anecdotal piece of evidence of Hillary Clinton’s disdain for the military comes from an Air Force officer, who said this when HRC was named as a Member of the Armed Services Committee: “...   While [Hillary Clinton] and her husband were in office, my colleagues and I were outraged about the people we were directed to 'read in' to our military's most secret programs....  many of these people were not fit to receive SECRET clearances."  However, despite the concerns of this officer and others working on the same top secret projects, Air Force brass ordered them to stay silent lest they violate the military code of not criticizing the Commander-in-Chief....  The retired Air Force weapons officer expressed concern that sharing information about America's secret military operations with someone with Sen. [Hillary] Clinton's history of open disdain for the military ‘poses a serious potential threat to our national security and risks the lives of our men and women serving in our Armed Services.’..." SECRET SERVICE BOOKS PAINT PICTURE OF A HILLARY CLINTON THAT HATED BEING AROUND MILITARY OFFICERS IN UNIFORM

Former Washington Post reporter and author Ronald Kessler did several books of interviews with Secret Service agents.  In one of them, he described Hillary Clinton as follows: “...  Hillary Clinton was another phony whose personality would change the instant cameras were near. Others familiar with Kessler’s work have said, “Hillary’s attitude toward military personnel is no different now than it was back in the ‘60s and early ‘70s when she was an anti-military radical....” (See  “Hillary’s Real Character Revealed by Secret Service Agents” by David L. Also revealed in another of Kessler’s interviews with a Secret Service Agent,  Lloyd Bulman, was this: “Hillary hates the military and didn’t want officers wearing their military uniforms in her presence....  She didn’t appear to like law enforcement or the military.... She wouldn’t go over and meet military people or police officers, as most protectees do. She was just really rude to almost everybody. She’d act like she didn’t want you around, like you were beneath her,” the agent said. Yet another Secret Service agent also recalled that Hillary also did not want to see American military officers in their uniforms  —  “Hillary didn’t like the military aides wearing their uniforms around the White House....   She asked if they would wear business suits instead. The uniform’s a sign of pride, and they’re proud to wear their uniform.
