Now, that seems like Ted Ghorra's best plan yet.....
What could possibly go wrong ?????
Wait a minute --- let's put Liam McCabe into the mix near the top of the chain of command --- now it's perfect --- nothing could possibly go wrong.....
But who knows --- Ari Kagan just might be the wrong man at the right time
Then again..... Does anybody know what tomorrow might bring --- !!! ???
In the 2023 election cycle and campaign season, this is when the rubber meets the road. So far, we have seen what the candidates, and their "prom dates" of supporters, consultants, party-hack insiders, and other assorted back-slappers and name-droppers have said --- now it's time to see what they will do.....
PETITIONING STARTS IN LESS THAN A WEEK.....
The Ari Kagan party switcheroo from Democrat District Leader and City Councilman to Republican City Council candidate is a very interesting "wild card." --- His decision to run against Justin Brannan as a "Republican" is very problematic for the current leadership of the Brooklyn GOP, who seems to be ready willing and able to play the game with this joker in its deck.
Several members of the Man in the Iron Wig --- Ted Ghorra's --- current leadership team still don't like Kagan at all; and several other Brooklyn GOP folks, who aren't current leadership team players, see this as a good lever to pry away the chairmanship from Mr. G.....
Well, let's see exactly who has the wherewithal to get an army of their ants to go out there with clip boards, pens, lists, properly formatted petitions, and comfortable shoes to do what is called for in times like these --- gather valid petitions with enough signatures to qualify for whatever party or public office is their real target in 2023. Ah ! Good times !!! Good times !!!!!
So, let's all get non-binary and sing a Broadway tune together as we go out there with clip boards and pens, and pieces of paper with all of our favorite friends' names on them in hand:
The best of times is now.
What's left of Summer
But a faded rose?
The best of times is now.
As for tomorrow,
Well, who knows? Who knows? Who knows?
So hold this moment fast,
And live and love
As hard as you know how.
And make this moment last
Because the best of times is now,
Is now, is now.
Now, not some forgotten yesterday.
Now, tomorrow is too far away.
So hold this moment fast,
And live and love
As hard as you know how.
And make this moment last,
Because the best of times is now, is now.
So hold this moment fast,
And live and love
As hard as you know how.
And make this moment last,
Because the best of times is now,
Is now, is now
Is now, is NOW!
What's left of Summer
But a faded rose?
The best of times is now.
As for tomorrow,
Well, who knows? Who knows? Who knows?
So hold this moment fast,
And live and love
As hard as you know how.
And make this moment last
Because the best of times is now,
Is now, is now.
Now, not some forgotten yesterday.
Now, tomorrow is too far away.
So hold this moment fast,
And live and love
As hard as you know how.
And make this moment last,
Because the best of times is now, is now.
So hold this moment fast,
And live and love
As hard as you know how.
And make this moment last,
Because the best of times is now,
Is now, is now
Is now, is NOW!
Ari Kagan will get on the ballot. Ari already a base of support in the district.
ReplyDeleteMike Ragusa will not get on the ballot. Mikes base is in Manalapan NJ.
Anna from staten island will focul on her base in staten island.
Avery is a district leader and may be the only one left standing.
"who has the wherewithal to get an army of their ants to go out there with clip boards, pens, lists, properly formatted petitions, and comfortable shoes"
ReplyDeleteHuman ant-bots are an endangered species everywhere.
Ari does not have a base of Republican support in the district other than the small cadre of Board of Elections types that are subject to arm twisting by the cynical pro-Ari allies inside the heads of some in the Brooklyn GOP leader-followership. It is doubtful that Ragusa or Belfiore-Delfaus are capabable of the heavy lifting needed in the next month or so. Avery and Nick need to step up and show that they belong at the adults' table. As usual in the Brooklyn GOP lately, the winner will be the last one standing and get a TKO by default.
ReplyDelete“Man in the Iron Wig”- and the best comment of the year goes to… JB, come and and claim your certificate pumpkin.
ReplyDeleteEveryone I speak to at Muffins and JJ BUbbles doesn't think Ari will even win the primary
ReplyDeleteOut of respect for Ash Wednesday I feel no need to defend Theodore "Chairman for Life" Ghorra.
ReplyDeleteAri.
ReplyDeleteHilarious.
"Out of respect for Ash Wednesday"
ReplyDeleteNot many asheds here anymore. Ridge needs to face up and look smartly ahead.
The only way Ted leaves is to become State Chair.
ReplyDeleteWhoever Chambers supports wins
ReplyDeleteSo, is the Chambermaiden going to get thrown onto the bed, and get the full "roll me over in the clover" from the "Man in the Iron Wig"?
ReplyDeleteOr, is all of it a pipe dream as the Brooklyn GOP keeps on slouching to Gomorrah.
The Brooklyn GOP has never had a chairman with so many victoriees than Ted.
ReplyDeleteNick & Robert Morgan are backing Ari and soon Mike Ragusa will join. There will be no republican primary.
ReplyDeleteNick Chambareass has relocated to sell real estate in East Palestine Ohio.
ReplyDeleteNick crushes all cumers
ReplyDeletejustin claims his exit from the progressive caucus had nothing to with the election. does he expect anyone to believe that?
ReplyDelete515, does anybody care whether Justin stayed in the Progrssive Caucus or not?
ReplyDeleteIn a more Republican district than the one he's running in now, Justin beat Brian Fox during a "red wave" New York City municipal election. As a matter of fact, during the 2021 campaign for City Council, even Brian Fox didn't seem to care that Justin was a member of the Progressive Caucus.
I saw Avery walking down 5th Avenue talking to himself and carrying his blankey
ReplyDeleteWell, maybe Avery P. needed his security blanket since he clearly has no shot at any job security at the Bd. of Ed. It seems like Ari, the Councilman with the very sharp elbows and the highly touted good contacts at the Bd. of Ed., had to do some serious smackdown on any Brooklyn GOP opposition to his Kagan for Council as a Republican in 2023 push.
ReplyDeleteWelcome to the brave new world of Ari Kagan inside the Brooklyn GOP.
Justin has a essay today in city and state about not being a defunder anymore because of new district.
ReplyDelete"Does anyone care about Justin and Progressive caucus" asked by 7;47? Justin seems to care.
ReplyDeleteI heard Avery got fired from his Board of Ed job
ReplyDelete2:04 sounds like something Justin did.
ReplyDelete943, you are obviously one of those people that continually lie about Justin Brannan, and this time you are covering for Ari Kagan's dirty work against GOP DIstrict Leader and City Council Candidate Avery Pereira while you do it.
ReplyDeleteWhy would Brannan try to undermine one of the Republicans who might be a speed bump to Ari Kagan getting the Brooklyn GOP nomination for City Council?
Who benefits? Kagan.
Who is in the best position to pressure the Bd. of Ed.? Kagan.
Who is a nasty son-of-a-bitch who has done stuff like this for years as a Democrat? Kagan.
No, 943, getting Avery Pereire fired from his Bd. of Ed. job sounds like something Ari Kagan would do.
You guys shilling for Justin are so dumb we all know you’re the ones posting these comments trying to deflect to Ari. We all know Justin and his crew are the dirtiest but they also might be the dumbest.
ReplyDeleteAverys disciples have abandoned him.
ReplyDeleteHe may be dumb and he may be dirty but Boss Brannan runs this town and Avery, Nick Chamberas, Ragusa, Fox and Will McCabe all know it true
ReplyDeleteIs Chamberas French?
ReplyDelete729, I believe that he eats French fries. and he has called them pommes frittes at least once in his life; however, I also believe Chamberas is either Belgian or Canadian, not French.
ReplyDeleteBelgian. Lousy country. Great Waffles.
ReplyDeleteJustin was almost beat by Fox. Ari crushes him.
ReplyDeleteJustin was almost beat by Fox. All the places where Fox won are no longer in Justin district. Justin is victorious again.
ReplyDeletecrushing justin may cause urban flooding
ReplyDeleteWhy does nick chamberas get attacked..because people fear him..
ReplyDeletebay ridge is no longer the democrat base it was before you know who voted to defund the police. crime everywhere. businesses closed. its time for a change.
ReplyDelete904, how does support for Ari Kagan represent any kind of change?
ReplyDeleteSomebody has decided to throw a fund raiser for Ari Kagan at the Lonestar on Fifth Avenue!
ReplyDeleteAre these guys serious?
Oh, that's right, this is a race with Liam and Fox getting their pieces of the matching funds pie.
It won't be long before we see all of the posters and lawn signs for Kagan.
It wont be long before we see Councilman Kagans district office in bay ridge.
ReplyDeleteJustin says he didnt leave the defunder caucus because of the election. Yeah and crime is down.
ReplyDeleteArnaldo Ferraro was on stage in the V.I.P section at Alex Brooks Krasny ceremony. Ghorra was missing in action
ReplyDelete424, no crime isn't down lately, but it didn't get really bad until Ari Kagan was elected to the City Council, with all his schemes to take away police funds and turn it over to the NYC Board of Education.
ReplyDeleteYou see, Ari can't brag about doing it and then say he didn't do it.
"Alex Brooks Krasny ceremony"
ReplyDeleteApex of the social season.
