Hey, teach ???  What is the point of that post ???

Maybe the point to be made in this "teachable moment" is that:

>>>  THOSE THAT CAN, DO  ---

AND THOSE THAT CAN'T ---

SHOULD STICK TO TEACHING,

WEARING POLITICAL T-SHIRTS, AND

BRINGING THE COFFEE AND DONUTS  <<<

There is a world of difference between a career in pedagogy with  fifteen minutes of fame for a nifty T-shirt and  bringing milk and cookies to cops and  >>>  the rough and tumble world of intra-party partisan politics (and only if you are successful at that and lucky enough to get nominated, then against the Boss of Bay Ridge  ---  Justin Brannan).

Anna Belfiore Delfaus needs to learn in one quick hurry that even in the early going, a political campaign isn't like some casual overnight class prep for some pseudo-make-work-to-keep-em-busy session in school, or even an emergency donut run to some police precinct.

On the other hand, Anna does seem motivated.  ---  But is she motivated enough to do more than some social media posting, and having coffee with Peter King and Inna Vernikov ?????

  5. Article in the Post says Ari is the one to beat and his biggest challenger is Ragusa. If that's true, then Ari wins because Ragusa is not serious

  6. RESPONSE: THE "LET'S KEEP 'FANTASYLAND' IN DISNEYWORLD AND DISNEYLAND" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID AT 2:33 PM"

WE DON'T KNOW WHO THESE TWO CHUCKLEHEADS --- JON LEVINE & RICH CALDER --- MIGHT BE OR THINK THEY ARE, BUT THEY DON'T KNOW SQUAT ABOUT THE TWO NEW BROOKLYN COUNCIL DISTRICTS --- THE 43RD & 47TH --- WHICH THEY MENTIONED IN TODAY'S NY POST ARTICLE "2023 CITY COUNCIL RACES ALREADY IN FULL SWING"

Commenter "... at 2:33 PM," you really need to diversify your sources of information on local Brooklyn City Council races, so as not to focus on anything from the clearly unauthoritative and sensationalist tabloid NY Post. At a minimum, at least wait until the Wall Street Journal or the local Fox TV subsidiary picks up and runs with the story.

Everybody needs to wake up and smell the coffee --- going after Democrat incumbent City Councilman Justin Brannan will be a tough hill for anybody to climb, either/both in a primary and/or in the November General Election of 2023.

Some believe that recent GOP convert Ari Kagan looks like the best bet for many in the Brooklyn GOP; however, he is strongly opposed by many long-time, loyal and real Brooklyn Republicans, many of them living in the new 47th District; and there are also some tricky GOP rules hurdles that might well trip Kagan up, unless Ted Ghorra is 100% satisfied with Kagan right on through all the processes involved with the filing of GOP petitions for a candidate like Kagan.

As for all the gas about the potential "Republican Asian" 43rd District --- why didn't anybody notice that Messrs. Levine and Calder didn't mention a single Republican Asian by name for that district, even though the race there is supposedly one of those "... 2023 City Council races already in full swing."

  7. When has the Post ever been wrong

  8. Brian Fox has found something that he can honestly brag about; he is just so proud to be an officialy elected member of the Brooklyn GOP County Committee.

  9. An Asian is running. You'll learn about when its all over. Just like Abbate.

  10. This is nothing like the Abbate race in 2022. As of this moment in 2023, there are three Democrats lined up to run in the new 43rd District, Susan Zhuang, Wei Yee Chan, and Stanley Ng.

That's a lot more Asian candidates running in the 43rd City Council District, who are Democrats with enthusiasm and organization than some as yet to be named Republican that either might be or might not be Asian.

  11. Vito La Bella is running for Barnstable County Delegate in Cape Cod. I ran into him last night at the Skipper Chowder House

  12. Anna the church lady with big hair lots of make up and a push up bra is a perfect fit. For Staten Island.

  13. Heard Gene Russo is advising Ari Kagan. Big Gene was communications director for Senators Conklin, Mega and DiCarlo. Now that's serious firepower!

  14. Are any of these people qualified for anything serious? Anything?

  15. Inna is bringing Anna Belfiore-Delfaus around every where and Ari is heartbroken. Ari was counting on a big early Inna endorsement. Ragusa and Avery aren't even in the conversation. It's Anna Belfiore-Delfaus for Ted.
