Has the RATSO VITO BRUNO campaign just popped its little plastic button --- meaning the folks at Perdue Farms think that Vito's Goose-Goose-Duck is cooked

The evidence is piling up that something happened to Ted Ghorra's master plan to put a pair of manifestly "UNWORTHIES" into the "Big House" in Albany, when they really belonged in the "Big House" at Ossining, Attica or Dannemora, or any of the other maximum security facilities throughout New York State

According to the Brooklyn Paper  >>>  "....  [Andrew]  Gounardes has pulled ahead of Bruno by 2,500 votes and with 1,800 absentee ballots remaining as of 5 pm on Nov. 18, according to Gounardes’ spokesperson, Sarah Anders....   The announcement comes as the Board of Elections wraps up its third day of counting ballots in 22nd state Senate district, which encompasses Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Bensonhurst, Gravesend, Marine Park, and Gerritsen Beach....   Republican insurgent Vito Bruno, a businessman and former nightclub owner, won 51.4 percent of the in-person vote on election night with about 6,000 more votes than Gounardes. But Gounardes made up the deficit once the Board of Elections began processing the 20,000 absentee ballots from the district, which leaned Democrat....  Gounardes’ slim 2,500 vote margin — if it holds — is more than double his 1,271-vote defeat over longtime Republican senator Marty Golden in 2018...."  (See  "Breaking: Gounardes Wins Re-election to State Senate" by Rise Adams,  11/18/2020,  Brooklyn Paper/ Politics   [https://www.brooklynpaper.com/gounardes-wins-re-election-state-senate/]).

The Brooklyn Paper is old news for old people. Gale cant spring for a copy of the daily News which just reported Vito is down by 1,100 votes but the minister of elections still needs to count 3,500 votes from Marines in the Park.

I heard from many many sources that these losses are on Ghorra, lock, stock and barrell.
Afterall he has zero experience in politics and knows nothing about absentee ballot processes. He was so eager to declare himself the winner of 4 races, he didnt realize that when there are so many absentee ballots to be counted - even an amatuer should know that you cant declare victory so soon. You need a tempered statement, especially when he knew that there were tens of thousands of ballots which werent counted on election day.

But his failures go even further. He had no plan to count, review, tally or analyze the ballots. And how could he, he never worked in the political world before. Remember he wasnt even on County Committee when he ran for Chair, never did petitioning, never did anything.

He had a skeleton crew working on this project and NOBODY had any idea what they were doing. It was the gang that couldnt shoot straight.

On the other hand, the Dems had a comprehensive plan, adequate people to man the counting and review the ballots, and this pushed both candidates over the top.

It is truly a shame that such an amateur could be a County Chair. Time to send him packing and find someone who has the time, the knowledge, the experience, the personality, the temperment and the following to get these jobs done.

Please Ted, resign for everyone's sake!!

RESPONSE: THE "AS USUAL 'FAKE NEWS' FROM RATSO VITO BRUNO AND/OR HIS SUPPORTERS" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 6:28 PM"

IN ADDITION TO THE BROOKLYN PAPER, THERE ARE STORIES IN THE DAILY NEWS AND THE BROOKLYN EAGLE THAT COVERED STATE SENATOR GOUNARDES' VICTORY ANNOUNCEMENT AND THE UP TO DATE BOE NUMBERS --- MEANWHILE THERE IS ANOTHER DAILY NEWS ARTICLE THAT QUOTES WHINEY RATSO VITO BRUNO DOING WHAT HE DOES BEST >>> LYING AND DISSEMBLING

The Daily News headline is explicit: "Brooklyn Sen. Gounardes victorious as N.Y. Dems see absentee ballot-backed wins".....

Any statement by Vito Bruno that he is still "officially" ahead is worse than a lie, it is demonstrably false, as is any claim that there are sufficient votes yet to be counted that would put him ahead any time soon.....

Well, regardless on how you feel about Bruno, this is the end of the GOP in Brooklyn. Once these districts are redrawn in 2021 it’s all over for the Brooklyn GOP. I imagine once that happens you’ll see Gournades take a hard turn left. He played the “moderate” democrat roll because he knew he was in a District drawn to elect a Republican. (Which it still failed to do).

Nothing is official until the count is complete and fair. If Vito is robbed of his rightful position retribution will follow in 2021.

Anonymous said...

Thursday evening Nov 19 count will be over and Vito wins.

Anonymous said...

Do you mean that Vito wins, because now that he lost everybody will stop talking about all the bad stuff he's done for years and years and years?

Anonymous said...

1136, where do you get this information from?

Anonymous said...

Stop the nonsense. Vito is now behind by 1800 votes. If the trends continue, then Vito Bruno will finally lose by more than 2000 votes.

RESPONSE & UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "FOR VITO BRUNO, YOUR OUTLAW PARTY'S OVER --- IT'S TIME TO CALL IT A DAY" EDITION

TO ALL THE COMMENTERS ABOVE SINCE MY LAST & ALL OTHER READERS OF THIS BLOG

THERE ARE ARTICLES IN THE NY POST, THE NY DAILY NEWS, THE BROOKLYN PAPER, THE BROOKLYN EAGLE AND THE GOTHAMIST >>> ALL OF THEM INDICATED THAT STATE SENATOR ANDREW GOUNSRDES HAS WON RE-ELECTION AND THAT RATSO VITO BRUNO LOST >>> WITH UP TO DATE BOE NUMBERS IN THE NY POST ARTICLE SHOWING THAT VITO BRUNO WAS BEHIND BY EIGHTEEN HUNDREDS (1800) VOTES

ANY FURTHER LYING, MISCHARACTERIZATIONS AND DISSEMBLING BY VITO BRUNO, THE BRUNO CAMPAIGN, THE BROOKLYN GOP AND THE KCRP CHAIRMAN TED GHORRA WOULD BE POINTLESS

The Daily News is explicit: "Brooklyn Sen. Gounardes victorious as N.Y. Dems see absentee ballot-backed wins".....

The NY Post provided these details in its coverage of the Gounardes win >>> "... Gournardes, a first-term Democrat representing the 22nd district in southern Brooklyn that includes Bay Ridge, Dyker Heights, Bensonhurst and Marine Park, was up by 1,800 votes over Bruno after scooping up more than three-quarters of the 12,744 mail-in ballots...."

This very sad bit of Brooklyn GOP history is over --- the cynical effort to foist Vito Bruno as a legitimate candidate on the GOP in and for the 22nd State Senate District has resulted in an epic fail >>> for the GOP and its chairman Ted Ghorra..... In spite of a mini-Red-Wave, it seems clear that the state senate election loss in 2020 will be by a larger margin than in 2018.

The Brooklyn GOP is finished for good. Unless there’s a massive shift in voters, you won’t have any victories going forward. The redistricting will insure that next year.

Bruno coulda been a contender! Instead of a bum. Which is what he admits he is https://twitter.com/VitoBruno718/status/1329507853170860038

UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "BRUNO STATEMENT" EDITION

HERE'S VITO BRUNO'S TAKE ON THE RECENTLY FINISHED ELECTION COUNT:

".... The Election is finally over, unfortunately, after all the votes including 21,000+ mail-in ballots were counted, we have fallen just short of winning this race.

I want to thank every one of the over 45,000 people who voted for me and gave me the encouragement and strength to mount a vigorous challenge we should all be proud of.

I am grateful to my wonderful family and amazing friends for supporting me and accompanying me on this journey from beginning to end.

I would like to thank my outstanding campaign team and dedicated hard working volunteers for making the impossible become possible on a daily basis.

I would also like to thank the Republican, Conservative, and Independence Parties for their dedication and support of my candidacy.

I am proud that we ran a positive fact-based campaign focused on the issues, including supporting our men and women in blue who risk their lives on a daily basis and fought to end the dangerous revolving door policy of bail reform, we stood up for the families struggling because of terrible policies from Albany, as well as for our besieged small business owners, employees, and their families.

I am saddened we were unable to pull out a victory, but all of you have lifted me up and inspired me. Now it is time for our communities to come together to work on the serious challenges we face, and for our representatives to listen to all their constituents.

May God bless all of you and keep you safe. Thank You!..."

RESPONSE: THE "RIGHT UP TO THE VERY END --- RATSO VITO BRUNO KEEPS REPEATING HIS 'BIG LIE' THAT HIS 'FACT BASED CAMPAIGN FOCUSED ON THE ISSUES....' " EDITION

TO VITO BRUNO, ANY OF HIS ACTIVE SUPPORTERS, AND THE VOTERS THAT KNEW WHAT HE WAS/IS ALL ABOUT AND VOTED FOR HIM ANYWAY

NOTHING CHANGED ABOUT THIS DEPRAVED MAN IN THE 1970s, THE 1980s, THE 1990s, THE 2000s, THE 2000-TEENS AND 2020 --- HE WAS A LIAR AND A SOCIOPATHIC SELF-PROMOTER AT THE START AND HE STILL IS.....

Here is the latest "Big Lie": ".... I am proud that we ran a positive fact-based campaign focused on the issues...."

What he never addressed was the issue of his own false flag run as a social values conservative, when deep in his essence he was and is anything but that..... And his personal and business history, and present business activities demonstrated that completely.

Throughout the campaign, Vito Bruno repeatedly and falsely denied well-documented instances of police corruption and other criminal activities, along with his close associations with a panoply of criminal actors and convicted felons involved in tainted business ventures, the large-scale movement and sale of illegal drugs, and countless incidents of extreme violence, including murder and other homicides.

Gale, I will admit I never thought Vito was the best choice. By my calculations the Brooklyn GOP had one shot to flip this seat back before redistricting next year. Vito was far from the best choice for that. His debate performance was terrible. The fact that he did as well as he did shows that with a better candidate this seat would have been a lock. Andrew Gournades is the luckiest guy in Brooklyn politics right now. I was hoping for Vito to somehow pull it off, but after his lead was cut by 2/3 on the first day of counting I knew it was over. Well...at least we got rid of Max Rose.

RESPONSE: THE "TIME FOR ME TO COME BACK AND GET BACK ONTO THE BATTLEFIELD" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 4:07 PM"

AT SEVENTY-TWO YOA THERE'S NOT A LOT THAT I CAN DO SINCE I HAVE RE-REGISTERED HERE IN FLORIDA --- BUT WHAT I CAN DO IS COME BACK AND TALK TO FOLKS TO SEE WHAT THEIR PLANS ARE; AND SEE IF THERE ARE ANY SERIOUS ADULTS AROUND TO PICK UP THE PIECES IN AND FOR THE BROOKLYN GOP --- IF I FIND ANY "WORTHIES," THEN I'LL DO ALL I CAN TO HELP.....

BUT THERE IS SOMETHING THAT I NEED TO DO FIRST >>>>>>>>>>

There is a wounded soldier for Ratso Vito Bruno laying out there on the battlefield; and I am sure that he is suffering --- I need to find the poor fellow ASAP and permanently put him out of his misery.

Some might say killing the wounded on the battlefield is barbaric, but if the wounded soldier in the mud is Bob Capano, who in Brooklyn politics wouldn't take pleasure in that final moment ?????

People are calling for Ted to resign, now that he lost two seat he took all the credit for, and failed to even remotely help Vito or Mark in the review of the absentee ballot process..he should, for the sake of the party, just resign now.

Anonymous said...

He should definitely resign. 2 wins slipped through their fingers.

Anonymous said...

Everyone knows Alexandra is running the show ...........

Anonymous said...

I think we should draft someone to take over the Brooklyn GOP. He def let two wins slip through his fingers - who should we draft????

Anonymous said...

No, it's Nicholas who is the Czar.

Anonymous said...

Nick never had the makings of a varsity athlete

The Bronx GOP which has a lot less Republican than Brooklyn, would have put up better fight than Brooklyn GOP. Heck the San Francisco Republican Club would have had more bodies down at BOE than Ted. It don’t matter what faction you support but Teddy need to do the right thing and resign for good of the party. Nobody want to hear his excuses no more.

Anonymous said...

Ted is a waste and needs to go..either voluntarily, by force or by defeat in 2021. Either way, but he needs to go. Would be great if he recognized his uselessness and resigned.
