After Vito Bruno, the Brooklyn GOP and the Brooklyn Conservative Party need to be jointly declared as a "Superfund Site"

Bruno is worse pollution than the Gowanus Canal, Newtown Creek and the Coney Island Creek combined

Forget about Vito as a "Dumpster Fire"  ---   Think back to when the New Jersey Meadow Lands dump was burning for weeks and months at a time ---  that's a lot closer to what this is

Sometimes in the 1950s about one half of the NYC smog came from New Jersey  ---   just think of Vito Bruno as New Jersey personified

  2. What are you talking about? I swim in Gravesend Bay every day because Marty and Fran told me Bayside Fuel's pollution is good for me,

    ReplyDelete
  3. Who is in charge of Bruno petitions? I hear Nick Chambers.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Gail, do you mean to tell me that Vito Bruno is going to super fund the Conservatives and the Brooklyn GOP and you keep wanting to bring up stuff the happened forty years ago?

    ReplyDelete
  5. Ted Georgia and Ray are running Vito Bruno and everyone elses petitions. Period full stop.

    ReplyDelete
  6. 820, you say that like it's a good thing!

    ReplyDelete
  7. So Nick is a mon factor in campaign

Got it and that IS a good thing.

    ReplyDelete
  8. Chambers is still in prison.

    ReplyDelete
  9. It will be a brokered convention between Vito and Liam. John Quaglione will play a critical role because it will come down to a floor vote and Quaglione holds many proxies

  10. Shhhhhhhhhhhhh.

Just because Vito is on a petition doesn't mean he will stay as the candidate.

Repeat after me: Declination and Substitution.

    ReplyDelete
  11. That is conforming. They are all set up for a loss. Ted has NO idea what he was doing. Ray never won a race - remember the Allegretti race where he challenged Grimm’s medals. And Georgea, well, you know what she likes to do all the time !

  12. Vito has always had a thing for young people. Luvs it when they all tooted up !!

    ReplyDelete
  13. Where does Vito stand on the Rockefeller drug laws?

    ReplyDelete
  14. Shhhhhhhhhh! Vito was once one of the main 'Velvet Mafia' guys in the New York night scene, nothing like this over the hill 2020 version without hair on top or in front.
Just everybody needs to see Nelson Sullivan's video "Vito Bruno's Downtown Critic's Circle Downtown Nightlife Awards at Limelight" on YouTube. What a great bunch "lines and shots" of Vito Bruno (with beautiful hair and mustache) talking about who he says should get the 1985 Nightlife Awards (spoiler, Vito gets several nominations and wins multiple awards). The other "artists" surrounding Vito like Marilyn Manson and Lady Bunny are "to die for". BUT OMG, "...MY MOTHER MIGHT SEE THIS". When Vito wins an award of a can of sardines for "Vito Bruno's Outlaw Party on a Westside Sanitation Pier" the MC Michael Musto adds "... Vito Bruno does an Outlaw Party sitting on your face." And more bitter remarks about Tatum O'Neal from anybody until John McEnroe.
Yes, this video is fun for the whole family!

  15. If Vito has a rally a 2 o'clock does he mean 2 pm or 2 am?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Bay ridge has plenty of re-habs. Fresh pickins for Vito

    ReplyDelete
  17. 10:03 is sore losers fantasies. Nicole strongly backing Vito. How do you think he came out of nowhere and got the nomination?

    ReplyDelete
  18. Vito didn't come out of nowhere, he came from everywhere. He shouldn't run for any public office, because that means more running from himself than running for something. If he didn't keep trying to deny his past, he could own it, and actually lead in rebuilding a strong libertarian Republican Party in New York, starting in the West Village, Chelsea and over to the Flat Iron District. It could be the new 'Field of Dreams'; Vito, build it and they will come.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Vito, make a line and they will snort.

    ReplyDelete
  20. 154, it's the "Flatiron District," not the "Flat Iron District."

btw, great call for a way of getting rid of Vito. There are just so many people in the WV, Chelsea and the FID waiting to become any kind of Republican at this time. He'd get more NYC GOP recruits from the Chelsea-Fulham constituency in London SW.

  21. Vito & Sharpton have something in common. The last job they had was being an informant.

  22. RESPONSE: THE "MUCH NEEDED 'SUPERFUND' DESIGNATION" EDITION

TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE COMMENTED ABOUT >>> VITO BRUNO <<< ON THIS THREAD OR ANY OTHER --- TO ALL THE PEOPLE >>> WHO CARE FOR THE BROOKLYN GOP <<< OR EVEN THOSE THAT ONLY SAY OR EVEN JUST PRETEND THAT THEY CARE.....

THE BROOKLYN GOP NEEDS TO BE CLEANED UP MORE THAN LOVE CANAL, LAKE ERIE, THE GROUNDWATER UNDERNEATH LONG ISLAND OR THE BECKTON GAS WORKS IN EAST LONDON (WHERE THEY BUILT THE MILLENNIUM DOME) --- TO GET THAT DONE EVERYBODY NEEDS TO BE 100% ON BOARD

Wait a minute !!! NEWSFLASH, THIS JUST IN >>> Tests show that Vito Bruno didn't cause the Coronavirus [CODVID-19] --- HOWEVER !!!!! --- There is every indication that Vito Bruno is the Coronavirus [COVID-19].....

    ReplyDelete
  23. And Galewyn this is where the fact that you have so few reliable sources left is so glaringly obvious. You really haven't a clue what prompted Vito's candidacy and who is supporting him. He is the only hope we have of rebuilding the Brooklyn GOP and ridding it of the swamp creatures that have been dominating it for so long. You are so clueless.

  24. I vote for Vito Bruno

    So I can work longer

    So I can earn more

So I can vote Vito Bruno

  25. Nicole & Vito may have more in common than one would think. And i aint talking about blow.

    ReplyDelete
  26. What prompted Vito's candidacy:

The only other person who would agree to let their name be listed on the ballot for a fool's errand like this is an octogenarian in an iron lung.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Maybe Vito will bring back the nightlife to NY. Bay Ridge could use a little excitement.
I say, let the good times roll !!

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 5:52 AM"

YOU HAVE LOOKED AT ALL OF THIS STANDING ON YOUR HEAD THROUGH A TELESCOPE THAT IS TURNED WRONG-WAY ROUND.....

I have no idea who you are, or where you are in the political food chain, but your analysis of my criticisms of Vito Bruno is way off the mark --- as are altogether too many of your premises, which renders you unworthy of any credibility vis a vis this: "... You are so clueless...."

"Clueless" is what anybody who thinks that Vito Bruno "is the only hope" --- or that the way all this Vito Bruno stuff went down helps in any way in rebuilding the Brooklyn GOP and ridding it of the swamp creatures that have been dominating it for so long...."

What is it that you think Vito Bruno, badly damaged old can that he is, can do to help the GOP in any way ?????

    ReplyDelete
  29. Any Republican running in Marty's old district would have a tough time cracking 40% this year.

Running someone who can be credibly linked to drugs, alternate lifestyles, and a clear aversion to having blue collar/outer borough men and women in his establishments, may have trouble getting 30%.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Vito is God, and coke is his profit. Vito-hu-akbar

    ReplyDelete
  31. GM at 5:13 maybe you should reach out to other sources besides people who idolize Justin and Liam and you’d get the truthful actual and whole story. He’s a unity candidate.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Vito is a unity candidate? Ha

    ReplyDelete
  33. RESPONSE: THE "UNITY -- SCHMOONITY CANDIDATE" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 9:46 AM"

YOU NEED TO LOOK JUST A FEW COMMENTS ABOVE AT WHAT "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 8:01 AM" HAD TO SAY --- A FULL CAMPAIGN'S WORTH OF NEGATIVE RESEARCH IS ALREADY PUBLISHED AND OUT IN THE PUBLIC SQUARE --- ANYTHING WITH "VITO BRUNO" AND "CANDIDATE" AIN'T GONNA WORK IN THIS FORMAT

I don't care that some of my normal back-channel Brooklyn GOP associates are behind the deal that arrived at Vito Bruno as a candidate, everybody has an agenda --- I have disagreed with them in the past; and I am sure I will re-align with them in the future; and right now I think that Vito Bruno is the wrong bet for that future.....

As for sources, forget about the people you mentioned, they call me to get info as much as call them to give it, and with Vito B. I've beaten them four ways to Sunday.

I have plenty of deep and credible sources on Vito Bruno: and I am ready to name them right here and right now: first and foremost, GOOGLE; the New York Times, the Washington Post; the Guardian; the Village Voice; Vanity Fair; quite a few local and trade papers; Bob Woodward: Anthony Haden-Guest; Nelson Sullivan; Michael Musto; several individual journalists and muck-rakers; and of course, the man that makes it all go, Vito Bruno.

Maybe, the Brooklyn GOP, the Brooklyn Conservative Party, and most of the legends-in-their-own-mind types in what used to pass as the leadership of the Conservative-Republican coalition in Brooklyn have good and salutary intentions in backing Vito Bruno --- this will come out bad across the board.

And Vito, if you want to be a leader, own your past, make a few intimate personal amends ala the deeper twelve-steppers, but then go big with a Full Monty Augustinian "Confessions [of a Sort]" --- it'll be the biggest thing you ever did --- and then you can follow it with your visions of "The [Secular] City of God" (Harvey Cox meets Saint Augustine) or your version of "Clockwork Orange [at the AM/PM]" (Oscar Wilde meets Anthony Burgess).

    ReplyDelete
  34. Sources?

The sources are the new york times, new york magazine, books by bob woodward. Vito the nightlife drama queen had plenty to say.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Vito addressed everything that happened in interviews with reporters. No one has ever accused him of being a drug dealer at the age of twenty. But they like to imply a lot. So at age twenty Vito was reveling in the club scene with plenty of celebrities like John Belushi, Madonna, and Robert de Nro. All of that happened before Ronald Reagan won a second term people want to focus on that for one of two reasons. Either they were expecting to feast off of Liam’s campaign financed by money that would have never showed up, or the wacko progressives dreaming of constructing pedestrian islands all over Bay Ridge streets.

    ReplyDelete
  36. When will Nick give an update on how many petitions Vito got? He claims to be "in charge "

    ReplyDelete
  37. Last week Vito told the Brooklyn Paper he "never gave anyone coke". Does that include selling coke? Maybe Vito can clarify this at the next Holy Name breakfast.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I hear no rep district leaders carrying for Vito, just for Nicole? What's going on

    ReplyDelete
  39. What does Vito do?

    ReplyDelete
  40. How many petitions has Chambers collected so far..tick tock tick tock.

    ReplyDelete
  41. 5:50 as you really know Ted Georgia and Ray are handling all petitions for the County candidates including Vito Bruno.Full period stop. Liam's cronies can stop the whispering campaign against Vito now. Maybe Liam can get them money collecting signatures for Marco but that would require them to actually work. Vito is on every single Nicole petition in Bay Ridge except for the ones being circulated by Marco Kepi. So far Nicole has stayed out of Liam's petitioning operation on behalf of Marco out of respect and hoping to keep the peace but I'm sure if they keep this up she'll have a thing or two to say about it.

    ReplyDelete
  42. No website for Vito. Is he undercover?

    ReplyDelete
  43. Word is Alexandra has already worn out her welcome on Staten Island Malliotakis campaign. Volunteers complaining left and right. This of course means she'll soon be dispatched to Brooklyn operation. Enjoy!

  44. Anybody who actually did a website search for Vito Bruno on this beautiful Sunday needs a crisis intervention before they harm themselves or others.

  45. RESPONSE: THE "BASIC LOGIC" EDITION

    TO THE CONTRADICTORY COMMENT-MAKERS ABOVE

IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR VITO BRUNO TO BE ON SOME OR ALL OF THE REPUBLICAN PETITIONS IN BROOKLYN'S 22nd STATE SENATE DISTRICT, AND AT THE SAME TIME NOT BE ON ANY BROOKLYN GOP PETITIONS --- THAT'S VERY CLOSE TO THE LOGICAL FALLACY THAT A THING CAN BE "A" AND "NOT-A" AT ONE AND THE SAME TIME, AND IN THE SAME SENSE --- STATED ANOTHER WAY A THING CANNOT BE "A" AND "NOT-A" AT ONE AND THE SAME TIME, AND IN THE SAME SENSE

Now, kiddies, either Vito is on at least some petitions that are being circulated or he is not.

    So, which is it ???

It's not rocket surgery; and somebody must know.

    ReplyDelete
  46. 658 says Vito on every Nicole petition in BAY RIDGE, the congressional district is all of southwest Brooklyn, what about the rest of the district?? Nick, your slacking..no one is really threatened if Nicole has a thing or two to say about anything..Kepi will come in with more petitions that Bruno and Tannousis combined!

  48. Don’t y’all just miss the days when the fight was with Atlas Shrugs the “Duke” and Marty was always a shoo in?

    ReplyDelete
  49. 9:43 please confirm this. Here I thought Joe Cal and his ragtag team has no chance to win and now I want to go place bets that he’s going to crush Nicole in a landslide the same fate as every single campaign she’s ever been involved with.

  50. RESPONSE: THE "NOW, THAT IS JUST PLAIN INSULTING" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 10:05 PM"

ANY NEGATIVE COMPARISON EXPRESS OR IMPLIED BETWEEN "... FOUNTAINHEAD" & "ATLAS SHRUGS..."; OR THE MERITS OR DEMERITS OF THE GOP ESTABLISHMENTS IN BROOKLYN NOW AND THEN; OR THE MERITS OR DEMERITS OF THE "OPPOSITION" INSIDE AND/OR OUTSIDE THE ORGANIZED GOP NOW AND THEN IS ODIOUS, OBNOXIOUS AND EXCEEDINGLY OBTUSE

The fact that we are here, and that we are doing our thing just the way we do it, outweighs all other considerations for those who follow for millennia to come to look upon what we have done, and then say with ardor and conviction, "For the good and independent Republicans from Brooklyn and Staten Island, who stood against all the foes in and around their party, this was their finest hour."

  53. Nicole is far from a star locally, how can she be a rising star on the national stage?

  54. President Trump said he knows Nicole well.
