Tell the truth, how many of you knew that there even was a "Joe Walsh" running against the President in any of the GOP pre-convention contests ? --- And for bonus points, who can name the candidate still running against Trump for the GOP nomination in 2020 ???
I'll give you the answer to the last question first: Former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld is now the only Republican primary candidate still challenging Trump for the nomination.
Joe Walsh is a latter day conservative Republican congressman, who suffers from a very bad case of Trump derangement syndrome.
In his withdrawal from the presidential race, Walsh has said he would support any Democrat nominee against the re-election of Donald Trump. That includes the admitted socialist, Bernie Sanders, who is also a romanticist of Soviet style communism.
All of this is strange, but none of it is funny. It looks like something Pope Benedict has been reported as describing at least once --- "It's a German joke, it doesn't have to be funny."

Pete Buttigieg is the Democrat flavor of the month for February, if he holds that spot into March, Bernie might have a big problem, but not as big as Biden's.
Bernie only has one problem. Its the DNC. If Bernie wins, like he did in Iowa, Tom "Mr Bullshit" Perez will refuse to seat Bernies delegates. The DNC is not a government entity. Its like a political club with a big payroll. Hillary is the payroll master which means Hillary gets the nomination.

Walsh and Weld are wasting their time. And a primary of any kind only helps Trump. Leave him alone, and take him out in November.

Tonight was a breakthrough night for Amy Klobuchar.
Amy Klobuchar does not pass the religion test.
She is a wolf in sheep's clothing and she is as left wing as Bernie Sanders.
She reports being a member of the United Church of Christ, the most progressive and least doctrinally rigorous of the Protestant sects in the National Council of Churches. The UCC is the favorite closet in which agnostic or atheistic American pols go to hide their non-belief in religion.

I once saw a former UCC "reverend" go off on an innocent litigant outside court after a case against that civil litigant was dismissed as moot and there were no factual findings against the litigant, which the "reverend" had planned on using in future political activities, civil litigation and a criminal prosecution.
There is no religion test in America.
