Right to see the same E-mails sought by Congress was also in dispute in an in-court FOIA battle
Republican Presidential Candidate Carly Fiorina says that this is just the latest in a series of disclosures that showed Hillary Clinton repeatedly lied concerning her involvement in the Benghazi fiasco
--- Ms. Fiorina went so far as to say Hillary Clinton has the blood of four dead Americans on her hands --- and all that's happened since is an attempted cover-up of that fact
According to a report in Politico, "The State Department has not turned over to congressional Benghazi investigators an email exchange between Hillary Clinton and top aides who were prepping the former secretary of state to discuss the 2012 terrorist attack with a U.S. senator.... The House Select Committee on Benghazi has confirmed to POLITICO that it does not have copies of two Sept. 29, 2012, emails between Clinton and her top policy staffer Jake Sullivan, chief of staff Cheryl Mills and spokesman Philippe Reines.... The emails — which surfaced last week in a State Department response to a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit brought by a conservative group — also mention the talking points for Susan Rice, then U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, according to a description of the messages in court documents...." ( See "State has not turned over 2 Benghazi-related emails to Congress -- At issue: A pair of emails from Sept. 29, 2012" by Rachel Bade, 7/13/15, Politico [http://www.politico.com/story/2015/07/state-department-benghazi-committee-emails-congress-hillary-clinton-aides-120047.html]).
GOP memebers of the Benghazi Committee say that the only messages they have that are dated Sept. 29, 2012, are, essentially, news clips. And they’re blasting the State Department for not turning over the emails, and challenging the its right to keep them from the panel.
Benghazi committee spokesman Jamal Ware gave this statement to Politico: “There is no legal privilege which protects the administration from embarrassing emails, emails that substantially impeach previous administration positions, or evidence of wholly contradictory statements by administration officials.... Chairman Gowdy believes these documents should have been produced to the Committee since the Committee is expressly charged with investigating all aspects of this administration’s response to the attacks in Benghazi including any efforts, however meager, to comply with congressional oversight....”
CARLY FIORINA USES DISCLOSURE ABOUT MISSING BENGHAZI E-MAILS TO MAKE CHARGE THAT "HILLARY CLINTON HAS BLOOD ON HER HANDS" FROM BENGHAZI DEATHS
At least one GOP presidential candidate was quick o pounce on the most recent Benghazi-E-mail disclosure -- Carly Fiorina.Last night, Carly Fiorina said to Fox News’ Megyn Kelly that Hillary Clinton has “blood on her hands” over the deaths of the four Americans who died on Sept. 11, 2012.... Fiorina, argued further that Clinton “engaged in a gross dereliction of duty” and a “cover-up” regarding the situation in Benghazi.... ( See "Fiorina: Hillary Clinton ‘Has Blood on Her Hands’ Over Benghazi Deaths" by Al Weaver [with video link], 7/13/15, Daily Caller [ http://dailycaller.com/2015/07/13/fiorina-hillary-clinton-has-blood-on-her-hands-over-benghazi-deaths-video/]). At the time of the Megyn Kelly interview, Ms. Fiorina was reacting to the then-recent disclosure that the State Department had not turned over Benghazi-related emails to Congress.
Rebutting the Clinton team's position that there is no "smoking gun," the Republican field's only femal candidate laid out her facts as if they were charges ans specifications against former Secretary Clinton , "Let’s go through this. Hillary Clinton says in a press conference recently, ‘Oh, I’m eager to turn over all the e-mails that the American people can see. Well, now we know the State Department hasn’t turned over all the e-mails. We also know those e-mails link Hillary Clinton and the State Department for the first time to the Susan Rice talking points. This was all a video and a demonstration. Do you remember — we now know on the night of September 11th, the State Department, the White House knew this was a pre-planned terrorist attack. two days later, Hillary Clinton stands over the bodies of the fallen and talks about a video. Susan Rice goes on television and says it’s a video, it’s a demonstration. Hillary Clinton later denies that she had anything to do with those talking points. False. She never revealed a private server in her basement until it was discovered. And then, when it was discovered, she wipes it clean nearly two years after she leaves the department of State. Megyn, I now think we now have enough information to understand that Hillary Clinton as secretary of state has engaged in gross dereliction of duty. She has engaged in a cover-up, and she has blood on her hands...."

This story hardly made a ripple, because the mainstream media and even Hillary C. want to keep talking about Donald Trump and illegal Mexicans. The Democrats think they have such a winner selling-out the USA to the Mexican invaders, they do it openly. If Carly F. hit Hillary C. in the head with an ax, and the mainstream media reported on it, it would be "Carly pats Hillary on the head."
UPDATE: THE "OUR LOCAL GUY ON THE NATIONAL SCENE IS ON TOP OF THIS STORY" EDITION
AS IS OFTEN THE CASE COLIN CAMPBELL IS AHEAD OF HIS COLLEAGUES IN THE MSM --- HE'S THERE AND HE'S READY TO TELL THE FIORINA -CLINTON STORY
--- AND HE'S ALSO READY TO TELL THE STORY BEHIND THE STORY, GIVING HIS VIEW OF THE FIORINA STRATEGY IN PLAY
Bay Ridge Colin Campbell filed this report for The Busniess Insider: "Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina had tough words for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in a Monday night interview on Fox News.... Fiorina, the former Hewlett-Packard CEO, accused Clinton of covering up the 2012 attack against the US diplomatic facility in Benghazi, Libya, that left Benghazi, Libya, that left four Americans dead. Clinton is the Democratic front-runner in 2016.... 'I think we now have enough information to understand that Hillary Clinton as secretary of state has engaged in gross dereliction of duty. She has engaged in a cover-up and she has blood on her hands,' Fiorina declared...." Colin went on to identify what he thought was Carly Fiorina's campaign strategy behind this sharp attack on the Democrat front-runner Hillary Clinton: ".... It's possible that charged statements blasting Clinton will help Fiorina gain traction with conservative activists long skeptical of Clinton's role after the Benghazi attack. Her campaign promoted the "blood on her hands" quote on Fiorina's social media accounts and blasted it out to reporters Monday night.... 'We need to have a nominee who will not be afraid to bring this up over, and over, and over,' Fiorina told Kelly...."
Colin's pitch was picked up like "The Nightingale's Song" and repeated on blog after blog in one medium --- the internet, in ways that "The Daily Caller" and "The Hill" were not. Let's see if others in the MSM will follow suit.

UPDATE: THE "NEW YORK TIMES DOES IT AGAIN --- THIS TIME IT'S HILLARY'S DEATH BY PAPER CUT" EDITION
THE NY TIMES HEADLINE CAPTION FOR MAGAZINE ARTICLE TIPS OFF WHERE THIS COVERAGE OF THE CLINTON CAMPAIGN IS GOING: "RE-RE-RE-REINTRODUCING HILLARY CLINTON --- THE METICULOUSLY MANAGED ROLLOUT OF A CANDIDATE WHOM VOTERS THINK THEY ALREADY KNOW"
NYT MAGAZINE'S TOP NATIONAL CORRESPONDENT, MARK LEIBOVICH, LEAVES LITTLE DOUBT HOW BORING HILLARY CLINTON AND HER CAMPAIGN ARE --- AND, HOW SHE JUST CAN'T RELATE TO PEOPLE
The NY Times Magazine article about Hillary Clinton and her campaign opened with this bit of verbal fireworks by Mark Liebovich: "A few minutes before my meeting with Hillary Clinton on the Fourth of July, during my drive to the Mount Washington hotel in Bretton Woods, N.H., where she was staying, I passed a moose near the side of the road. At first I thought it was fake, one of those life-size cutouts that you sometimes see of big land mammals or, on occasion, famous politicians. But the specimen proved to be real and spectacular, antlers and all. I had never seen a moose before. It was thrilling, and I felt compelled to tell Clinton about it within seconds of my arrival. ‘‘Oh, really? Wow,’’ Clinton exclaimed with a big smile as she poured herself a cup of coffee. She might have been humoring me, but still seemed genuinely excited by my sighting and seized on it as a point of connection...." (See "Re-Re-Re-Reintroducing Hillary Clinton, by Mark Liebovich, 7/15/15, NY Times [http://www.nytimes.com/2015/07/19/magazine/re-re-re-reintroducing-hillary-clinton.html?_r=0]).
The very long article ended with these passages: "At that point, campaign officials unfurled a fat white rope to corral the media at a safe distance. The sight of Clinton aides wrangling reporters like cattle (so dehumanizing!) was of course photographed, tweeted and sent viral. That image became the day’s takeaway, at least in the national media: proof, supposedly, of Clinton’s running scared from the 'tough questions,' thwarting press freedom on this day of our independence.... The walk lasted about 30 minutes and, by parade’s end, felt like a different unofficial kickoff, this one to a long, long trudge.... 'You know,' Clinton said, heading off to a diner, 'I love parades.' "
The author's sense of irony was palpable. After all, he'd just spent thousands of words describing how crushingly dull Hillary Clinton and her campaign for president were on its recent 4th of July weekend foray into New Hampshire; and what a tough time she had relating to people of any description and under any circumstance.
