Back in November 2014, Farrakhan made a call to/for Black college students to support life-for-life retaliation for Black deaths at the hands of the police

On November 22nd 2014, Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan Worshipfully Urged Retaliation For Michael Brown — That Was the Month Before a Self-proclaimed Muslim, Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley Executed New York Police Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos 

At one point, Farrakhan held up what resembled a Quran at Morgan State University, saying that both the central religious text of Islam and the Bible contain a “law of retaliation” and “a life for a life.”

Republican news magazines and blogs are just now picking-up on earlier stories about Farrakhan’s speech where he both predicted and apparently condoned violence in Ferguson and other places across the nation

According to a report that appeared today in Newsmax, “Just 28 days before two New York police officers were brutally gunned down in retaliation for the deaths of Michael Brown and Eric Garner, Nation of Islam Leader Louis Farrakhan called for violent retaliation against white police....” (See “Farrakhan Cited 'Law of Retaliation' Month Before NY Cops Slain” by John Blosser, 1/2/15, Newsmax [http://www.newsmax.com/US/Louis-Farrakahn-Michael-Brown-Morgan-State/2015/01/02/id/616065/]).

According to that Newsmax report, here’s some of what Minister Farrakhan had to say,  “As long as they [white police] kill us and go to Wendy’s and have a burger and go to sleep, they’ll keep killing us.... [B]ut when we die and they die, then soon we’re going to sit at a table and talk about it....  We’re tired! Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan was the keynote speaker at the November 22nd conference, called the 2nd Annual Black United Summit International, held at the Murphy Fine Arts Center auditorium on Morgan State University’s historically black campus in Baltimore. The conference theme was “Re-Claim, Re-Pair, Re-Form, Re-Produce — REPARATIONS Now!”

Less than a month after the Farrakhan speech at Morgan State, a self-described Muslim Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley allegedly  murdered NYC Police Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos as they sat in their patrol car on December 20th. According to various reports since the shooting of the officers, Brinsley later killed himself at a nearby subway station.

For any who might doubt the accuracy of what appeared today in the Daily Caller and Newsmax, there are other articles about Farrakhan’s 11/22/14 speech at Morgan State University that appeared at the time of the speech in a Baltimore daily paper, and a few days later in the Nation of Islam’s own newspaper and blog.
