In case >>> YOU <<< might have missed it --- KGB-Komrade Ari Kagan's letter containing an admission about Anti-Asian hate rallies --- but lying about police defunding --- is a cynical appeal to racism plain and simple

 

Ari Kagan's letter (mentioned in a comment in the thread to the prior featured post below on this blog) obviously is aimed at certain Brooklyn Asian voters, and it is a cynical and mendacious exercise  >>>  that obviously seeks to exacerbate the existing and particular racial divides within Kagan's Southwest Brooklyn District  ---  which had previously been exploited by the Brooklyn Conservative Party most notably, between Asians and certain ethnic and religious groups of white people (and in the adjoining district to Kagan's, the Conservatives are presently running a similar anti-Asian campaign being aimed at Italian-American voters  ---  that mirrors exactly what they did last year in the same areas) ---  and now that racism is cynically being used in reverse by Ari Kagan and his Conservative Party allies to divide Asians from some white long-term residents of the area and some non-Asian people of color that traditionally vote Democrat

Here are excerpts from Ari Kagan's letter focusing on the most offensive, most cynical, and/or false elements in it:

1. Letter posted on the Conservative Party Facebook page doesn't mention that Ari Kagan was elected as a Democrat in 2021, but is now running as the Republican-Conservative candidate in 2023.....

2. Letter mistakenly says that Ari Kagan "... hosted anti-Asian hate rallies..."  ---  but those "Anti-Aisian Hate Rallies" WERE a reference to rallies in the past that were supported by Kagan's recent allies of conveniece  >>>  the Brooklyn Conservative Party

3. Letter says that Kagan's opponent Justin Brannan voted to defund the police in 2020-2021 to the tune of One Billion Dollars ($1,000,000,000)  ---  that is a bald-faced lie that often was repeated by Brian Fox when he was a candidate against Brannan during 2021  ---  it was completely denied by Justin Brannan at the time, but more important it was repeatedly rebutted, debunked and refuted by multiple newspapers and online media sources during the 2021 campaign and ever since.  The fact that Brian Fox is a conultant paid to run Kagan's campaign does not explain why Fox's lies are being repeated on behalf of Kagan  >>>  because of Kagan's own history of very strong support for defunding the NYPD in 2020, 2021, and 2023; and because Kagan was actually directly involved in the 2020-2021 budget negotiations, later bragging that he had participated in defunding the police..... ( Also, the so-called "diaphram law" does not effect a police officer's authority to make a lawful arrest; and it has been upheld by the state's appellate court as a proper exercise of municipal governance)

Ari Kagan's letter from Wei Tang Liu and Xin Yan Li has absolutely nothing to do with any aspect of the City Council race between Kagan and Brannan.....   Kagan and his racist allies in the Conservative Party chose the parents of a murdered police officer to be Kagan's endorsers for only one reason they were Chinese..... 

The assasination-style murder of their son, Officer Wenjian Liu, happened in 2014 on Willoughby Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant miles away from any part of the City Council District where Kagan and Brannan are running in Southwest Brooklyn in 2023. The alleged perp, Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley, is alleged to have committed suicide in the presence of responding police officers in a subway not far from where the two police officers had been shot inside their patrol car.  It is also alleged that Ismaaiyl Abdullah Brinsley had driven to the murder scene from Baltimore, where he had earlier committed another murder  

NOTE:  this case has been used repeatedly to stoke up racial animus since 2014  ---  and Ari Kagan and his allies are doing it again in 2023.....

Rank and file Republicans and Conservatives should be ashamed of this sort of thing happening so blatantly in 2023. 

They should call people like Kassar, Ghorra, Vella-Marrone and Fox to let them know that this is not acceptable and hurts the cause of law and order, and safety in our various communities.  

Another thing to do is register a protest by writing-in Kathy Khatari's name on election day or in early voting.
