Brooklyn Councilwoman Inna Vernikov has made allegations that Grigoriy Davidzon, the owner/operator of the Russian-speaking radio station WSNR-AM, tried to extort $30,000 in ads from her for his political support in 2021  ---  and now Davidzon is attempting to exact his revenge against Vernikov for her failure to accede to Davidzon's 2021 demands

Also the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office and city’s Department of Investigation have been asked by Republican City Councilwoman Inna Vernikov to investigate as a criminal matter the allegations of "straw donors" against Republican Primary challenger Igor Kazatsker ---  Vernikov also filed complaints with the NYC CFB accusing Kazatsker of illegally relying on “straw donors” to help him qualify for public matching funds and also receiving free ad time on Grigoriy Davidzon's WSNR radio station that Kazatsker didn’t report as in-kind donations in his campaign filings

Brooklyn City Councilwoman Inna Vernikov has accused the owner/operator of the major "Russian-speaking" media across the southern Brooklyn beachfront communities from Seagate to Manhattan Beach and inland along Avenue U and Neck Road from Gravesend to Sheepshead Bay and out past Gerritsen and to Nostrand Avenues into Midwood and Marine Park of trying to extort her into paying over $30,000 for political ads —  in addition, she also claimed that Davidzon was also part of a cabal backing a challenger to Republican Councilwoman Vernikov in next month’s Republican Party primary because she refused to pay him offin 2021/

The NY Post reports that Councilwoman Inna Vernikov told  Post investigative reporter Rich Calder that reps for the local Brooklyn Russian media maven Grigoriy Davidzon first approached her campaign operatives during her earlier political campaign in 2021 to demand that she “hire someone from his team” — and also specifically to spend $30,000 for commercial airtime on his AM radio station WSNR 620.

Vernikov refused to be “bullied” and went on to win her 2021 City Council race to represent Sheepshead Bay, Brighton Beach and other neighborhoods in southern Brooklyn; and in so doing, delivered “big blow” to Davidzon’s reputation as a necessary local “kingmaker” in the heavily Russian-speaking parts of Vernikov's district.

The cabal now opposing Inna Vernikov inside the Brooklyn GOP includes many of the very same backers and "straw donors" that are behind the GOP City Council campaign of former Democrat Ari Kagan in an adjoining district. 

This is shaping up as a big fight about whether the Davidzon-Kagan cabal can come in and take over the Brooklyn GOP in the only part of Brooklyn where the Brooklyn GOP has shown any real sustained growth potential. Davidzon and Kagan have been together since Kagan swooped into Brooklyn as a former secret media operative in the former Soviet Union and a likely secret state security agent/operative during the end stages of the Soviet system; and Davidzon has always backed Kagan's runs as a Democrat, even defending Kagan against GOP charges against Kagan that he was a former KGB agent/operative.

As usual Ted Ghorra stands around looking confused and out-of-place in all of this. He is obviously feckless and clueless about any of what's going on among Davidzon, Kagan and Vernikov.

The biggest lie and the grittiest truth that the Conservative Party and those in the Brooklyn GOP influenced by the Conservative Party don't want certain uninformed voters to know.....

 
People who have committed serious crimes shouldn't be kept in jails the way that the NYS Conservative Party and some other dishonest politicians ---  mostly elected as Republicans in and around NYC  ---  have been saying for far too long..... 

People who have committed serious crimes need to be detected and properly identified, and then arrested; arraigned on proper charges and prosecuted in a timely fashion; tried in a timely fashion; be convicted by properly drawn juries based upon properly obtained relevent evidence; and after a proper conviction at trial or a suitable guilty plea after a properly obtained confession,  sentenced to prison to a term of incarceration that fits the crime in a NYS penetentiary.....

None of that is possible in the City and State of New York  ---  because each and every aspect of what is called the "criminal justice system" is not prepared in the least to investigate, detect, properly identify, and arrest those that are legitimately suspected of  having  committed seriously crimes based upon real probable cause; and then to arraign and prosecute on proper charges in a timely fashion those few that might have been properly arrested upon probable cause; or to try those properly arrested in a timely fashion in front of properly drawn juries based upon properly obtained relevent evidence; or to obtain a proper conviction at trial or a suitable guilty plea after a properly obtained confession; or to properly sentence to prison in a NYS penetentiary for a term that fits any serious crime by any convicted person.....

As a result, very few serious crimes are ever properly "solved"; fewer still are ever properly prosecuted; and only a tiny fraction of the serious crimes that have been committed result in any real "hard time" in a New York State penetentiary to properly penalize those guilty of those serious crimes

Sending people to NYC jails has nothing to do with any of that  ---  however, it has been used as an ersatz substitute for all that the police investigators, prosecutors and judges cannot do to properly detect, prosecute, convict and sentence those that have  committed serious crimes

When the Mayor of New York City and an overwhelming super-majoriity of the NYC Council passes legislation allowing community representatives to reduce the numbers of those held in NYC jails, they are not interfering in any way with the proper functioning of a legitimate "criminal justice system"  ---  they are trying to remedy the overcrowding of NYC jails caused by the absolutely broken "criminal justice system" that is now in place in the City and State of New York.

When the Conservative Party gets so wee-wee-ed up about what the mayor and city council did  >>>  that they just kept repeating and re-linking the NY Post article about the mayor's and the city council's recent action to reduce the NYC jail population  ---  over  --- and over  ---  and over again; they are either very ignorant about the real purpose of the NYC jail system; or they are trying to pull a scam.

Knowing the likes of the current Conservative Party leadership in NYC, and the composition of those few, those very, very few Republican and other council members elected with the Conservative Party's endorsements and support  >>>  it's a good bet that they are all trying to pull a scam.

Not content with running the Republican Party throughout New York State, Conservative Party Chairman Kassar now looks like he wants to police the kinds of left wing stuff the Democrats, and their office holders and staffs can and can't do 

When it comes to recommending a study of history, Mr. Kassar needs to brush up on fundamental constitutional rights, as spelled out in the first ten amendments to the U.S. Constitution, called the "Bill of Rights".....

If Kassar thinks he learned all that stuff  ---  he'd better check back to see if his copy of the "Bill of Rights" doesn't contain some typos, errors and/or omissions.  Hint: if its title appears as the "Bill of Eights"  ---  and there are only eight amendments listed  ---  then, it probably contains both typos and omissions.

Also, when looking for "Commies"  >>>  Kassar need look no further than one of his party's Brooklyn endorsees for the NYC Council  ---  Ari Kagan  ---  who has a well documented history and pedigree of formal Communist Party indoctrination and membership  ---  as well as a rather distinctive profile of KGB or other Soviet secret security service and western media penetration in the so-called "post-Soviet" era.

Recently squelched Fox News primetime anchor Tucker Carlson announced late on Tuesday afternoon that he will “soon” be Tweeting-out a video show on Twitter, which media platform Carlson referred to as one of the few “English speaking” outlets in the world that still allows free speech

Here's some of what Tucker Carlson said during a video that he posted on Twitter on Tuesday:  “Starting soon, we will be doing a new version of the show we’ve been doing for six-and-a-half years [on] Twitter....  We’ll bring some other things too, which we’ll tell you about. But for now, we’re just grateful to be here [onTwitter]....”  Carlson did not explain or elaborate on what “soon” might mean. 

He closed his first Twitter video broadcast with this:  “Free speech is the main right that you have. Without it, you have no others.”

Another thing that Tucker Carlson promised in his Twitterfeed video mentioned above is that his new probram on Twitter will “tell you stories” about what it’s like to work in a dishonest corporate media outlet that constantly lies to the public, especially through omission. He adds that the media only allow its staffers to tell so much of the truth, the approved amount, and if you “bump up against those limits often enough, you will be fired for it. That’s not a guess,” Carlson adds, “that’s guaranteed.” [We here at this independent GOP blog for Brooklyn and Staten Island wonder if Tucker might be referring to Fox News as a media entity, the Murdochs as media puppet masters, and their sycophants and toadies at Fox, as media mutts doing the Murdochs' dirty work.....]

As early as tomorrow, you can expect the House Oversight Committee to take up a not very old allegation of corruption against Joe Biden that never saw the light of day in the normal course of prosecutions against corrupt elected officials ---  The gravamen of the charges should involve what a former federal prosecutor had uncovered and wanted to prosecute  >>>  a bribery allegation against Joe Biden and an unnamed foreign national back during 2018

Former Assistant U.S. Attorney Bud Cummins presented his case against Biden to the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York Geoff Berman back on Oct. 4, 2018, and it involved Biden's actions during his term as Vice President in the Obama administrtion.

By this evening, Fox viewers will hear that Cummins sent federal prosecutor Berman an email, in which Cummins claimed to have evidence VP Joe Biden "exercised influence to protect" his son Hunter Biden's Ukrainian "employers" in exchange for payments to both VP Joe Biden and Hunter Biden, as well as to Hunter Biden's close friend and business associate Devon Archer.

Also expect that Bud Cummins will also recount that the then-Ukraine Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko had been willing to come to the America to meet with U.S. prosecutirs and give them the goods against the Bidens, father and son.   In addition, there were two more "anonymous witnesses" to back up the allegations against the VP and his son.

Indicating some of what the Comer Committe hearings will be dealing with tomorrow  ---U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer wrote in a letter to Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wraythat  >>>  "We have received legally protected and highly credible unclassified whistleblower disclosures. Based on those disclosures, it has come to our attention that the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) possess an unclassified FD-1023 form that describes an alleged criminal scheme involving then-Vice President Biden and a foreign national relating to the exchange of money for policy decisions."

In the same poll, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis loses to President Biden by three (3) points, but that result is within the margin of error

Where is the media coverage of this development in the Bragg case against Trump

A Judicial Conduct Complaint has been filed with NYC's & NYS's top judges   ---  as well as the Commission on Judicial Condut  ---  against the judge assigned to the Donald Trump case  >>>  Acting Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan

The complaint against Acting Supreme Court Justice Jaun Merchan was made by ABC radio talk-show host Frank Morano  ---  and that judicial conduct complaint has been filed with the Administrative Judge in Manhattan, the Chief Judge of the New York State Court of Appeals, and the New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct. 

Here is the key portion of the Frank Morano complaint:

"....  As you’re no doubt aware Section 100.5 of the New York State rules on Judicial Conduct state plainly and unambiguously that “A Judge or candidate for elective Judicial office shall refrain from inappropriate political activity”....     It’s fairly clear that Judge Juan Merchan, who happens to be presiding over the Trump case blatantly violated this provision. As has been widely reported, Judge Merchan made three completely inappropriate political contributions during the 2020 election[i] to the Progressive Turnout Project, a voter outreach organization, another to “Stop Republicans”, a group with the stated goal of defeating President Trump and his party and most egregiously to Joe Biden’s campaign, who was running against President Trump....   While, the amounts are undeniably small and likely had no effect on the election, this would be a blatant disregard of the rules of judicial conduct, even if these entities had nothing to do with the defendant in this case. How can jurors, witnesses, attorneys and the defendant in this case be expected to follow the Judge’s instructions on the law in this case, if the Judge so plainly ignores the rules governing the judiciary? I think the fact that this violation has been so widely reported dramatically undermines the credibility of Judge Merchan’s ability to preside over a criminal case of this magnitude....    I am also asking you to take appropriate action to see that this judge is removed from presiding over this case...."
