Here's the beef directly from the top Democrat butcher of the Council:
"Statement from Speaker Adrienne Adams on Council Member Ari Kagan Changing to Republican Party Affiliation to Join Minority Conference
December 5, 2022
“Voters sent Council Member Kagan to the Council as a member of the majority conference and this drastic about-face seriously calls into question his commitment to the policy priorities of our conference that will impact his committee roles, particularly his chairmanship given the fact that he is joining a party that denies climate change. New Yorkers have expectations for their representatives to carry the values that they were elected to prioritize over politics. Our Democratic Conference will continue to consistently place the public interest of our city over politics without Council Member Kagan....”
Ari Kagan's switch obviously made Council Speaker Adams so upset that she lost all sense of logic and syntax, as well as her proper official decorum as Council Speaker.....
Here's where she turned what should have been a sharply cut slab of prime meat about the Kagan switcheroo into a mess of very flabby ground chuck (does anybody know what shredded beef suet is anymore ?) --- suitable only for woke Democrat "Whimpies" --- especially all the slippery sliders like herself >>> ".... New Yorkers have expectations for their representatives to carry the values that they were elected to prioritize over politics. Our Democratic Conference will continue to consistently place the public interest of our city over politics without Council Member Kagan....”
WTF !!!
Although she tried to make her statement appear to be high-minded and formally made as the "Speaker" of the NYC Council, Council Speaker Adam's then stole the hat of Democrat Leader Keith Powers and his partisan meat cleaver too..... As a result, what she came out with was some Kamala Harris kind of verbal shambala-ism that Democrats like "Hey ! Adrienne..." Adams think passes for wit, wisdom, and woke sensibility.
The Speaker properly observed that New Yorkers' have expectations for their City Council representatives carrying out the values that they were elected to prioritize rather than partisan political maneuvering. However, the emphasis of Speaker Adam's remarks were to take issue with Ari Kagan's lack of commitment to the policy priorities of the Democrat majority conference in the City Council, and how that lack of committment would impact Kagan's committee assignments going forward from now into 2023.
That's what happens when some folks get all twisted in their extreme Democrat partisanship and try to pretend that they are being non-partisan. The result in this instance is that we can't tell on whose behalf "The Speaker" was really speaking --- and equally perplexing, to whom were her words directed, and to what end ????? Speaker Adams talked about the continuity of the Democrat conference in the City Council, and simultaneously stripping Kagan of his Council Committee assignments.
Does Speaker Adams think that Democrat conference business and City Council business are one and the same thing ???????
Always remember --- the syntax of syntax is logic --- and this statement by "Hey ! Adrienne..." Adams ain't particularly meaningful 'cause it ain't particularly logical.
Then again, that's the effect of what Ari Kagan does and says seems to have on everybody.....
And thus be it ever.....
Like Gerry Kassar told me, this proves just how powerful Boss Brannan is. In the halls of power, Boss Brannan is the #1 top lieutenant in The Adams Family. Ari will be forced to relocate to Siberia by next Hanukah.
ReplyDeleteUPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "NEW CANCEROUS TUMOR INSIDE THE BROOKLYN GOP" EDITION
ReplyDeleteCANCER WOULD PROBABLY BE INSULTED BY ANY COMPARISON TO ARI KAGAN --- HOWEVER, DON'T LOSE HOPE --- THERE ARE STRONG ANTI-ARI KAGAN ANTIBODIES AROUND EVERY CORNER AND TURN IN DYKER HEIGHTS AND BAY RIDGE, AND ALSO OUT & ABOUT CONEY ISLAND AND NEARBY NABES
Look for Ari Kagan to have some very tough sledding inside of his new party. Several real movers and shakers, and at least one legend in his own mind, in the Brooklyn GOP are not taking to the Ari Kagan's pre-Christmas "Come to Jesus" move gladly. The words they used were mostly about Kagan's opportunism.
Several Democrats are very angry about Kagan's breach of personal committments that were made to them late in 2021 and early in 2022, which puts a complete lie to Kagan's claim that he's been moving away from the Democrat Party for years. Don't forget he ran both as a Democrat candidate in 2021, and as a Democrat political leader in 2022.
Look for more flak against Ari from within the 46th AD than any place else, there is plenty of bad blood there, and some of it is going to spill to the floor, probably sooner rather than later.
Theodore (Ted) Ghorra is a chess master. He takes a progressive Dem and turns him into a Conservative Republican overnight. Brian Fox and Meaty Ragusa are FURIOUS that Ari cut the line!
ReplyDeleteNick crushes Ari in a primary.
ReplyDeleteKassar is behind Kagan all the way. Which mean that cousin and lackey Teddy is also gonna fall in line. Lucreature wants a job so she’s gonna stfu not to piss off Teddy or Ray. Alex not gonna do nothing. Brennan gonna crush Kagan in a general but it was Kagan only shot to survive. Kassar and cousin Teddy hoping to receive appreciation for running him via their preferred method.
ReplyDelete"THE 'NEW CANCEROUS TUMOR INSIDE THE BROOKLYN GOP'" actually is a mass of dumbth.
ReplyDeleteDon't believe everything you read. This is all a ruse. When the mayor needs something done in the council he calls Boss Brannan. This was all set up with Ghorra and Brannan at the table. Ari switches his party. Ghorra backs him in the primary. Ari loses the general and Boss Brannan lives on. Mayor gives Ari a job at City Hall and Brian Fox gets left in the dust.
ReplyDeleteMy Lord i've never witnessed such irony. 7:06 says when "the mayor needs something done". Adams have never gotten anything done.
ReplyDeleteA GOP primary will be crowded. Brannen is to easy to beat.
ReplyDeleteUPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "DEEPER AND FURTHER HUMILIATION OF THE BROOKLYN GOP" EDITION
ReplyDeleteFRESH ON THE HEELS OF THE LESTER CHANG FIASCO --- WHEREIN THE BROOKLYN GOP ATTEMPTED TO COMPLETELY DISENFRANCHISE THE BROOKLYN ASIAN COMMUNITY BY TRYING TO DEFEAT IWEN CHU WITH VITO LA BELLA'S RACIST CANDIDACY AND MAKE THE ELECTION OF AN ASIAN MEMBER OF THE ASSEMBLY IMPOSSIBLE BY NOMINATING [AND THEN ELECTING] AN INELIGIBLE ASIAN CANDIDATE ON THE GOP LINE --- REPUBLICANS APPEAR TO BE WELCOMING WITH OPEN ARMS THE FORMERLY VERY PARTISAN DEMOCRAT ARI KAGAN IN A CYNICAL EFFORT TO BENEFIT FROM KAGAN'S DESPERATE ATTEMPT AT POLITICAL SURVIVAL
THIS IS THE LOWEST POINT IN THE HISTORY OF THE BROOKLYN GOP --- BOTH PRACTICALLY AND MORALLY
It's high time to round up the usual suspects among the current Brooklyn GOP leaders --- cover them with molasses and stake them out on anthills.
FURTHER UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "CHANG CLANG-BANG-BANG MAXWELL HAMMER BEAT" EDITION
ReplyDeleteLESTER CHANG AND THE BROOKLYN GOP SEEM TO BE CONCEDING THAT ASSEMBLYMAN-ELECT CHANG WILL NOT BE SEATED AS THE ASSEMBLY REPRESENTATIVE OF THE 49TH AD COME JANUARY 2023 --- SO FAR, THERE HAVE BEEN "COMMUNITY" DEMONSTRATIONS AND LOCAL PARTY PONTIFICATIONS BUT NO EVIDENCE THAT LESTER CHANG HAD ANY RESIDENTIAL CONNECTION TO BROOKLYN BEFORE FEBRUARY 2022, SO AS TO BE ELIGIBLE TO RUN AS THE REPUBLICAN NOMINEE FOR THE ASSEMBLY IN THE 49TH AD IN THE 2022 ELECTION.....
THAT MEANS MR. CHANG AND THE REPUBLICANS WILL BE LARGELY ON THE OUT-SIDE-LOOKING-IN AT AN OFFICIAL NYS ASSEMBLY JUDICIARY COMMITTEE INVESTIGATIVE HEARING SCHEDULED IN ALBANY FOR DECEMBER 19, 2022.....
According to a report in the NY Post yesterday --- ".... The Assembly’s Judiciary Committee will hold a hearing Dec. 19 at 9:30 a.m. in Albany to weigh the matter ahead of a potential vote by the full chamber in January, according to a letter sent to Chang on Tuesday... [which stated among other things] 'As it has been reported in the media and through other sources received by this Committee, you have not been a resident of Kings County … for the twelve months immediately preceding [your election] election.'... Chang voted in Manhattan last year and has yet to show evidence that he meets the residency requirements to represent southern Brooklyn...."
Right now it looks like the Democrats are pounding the facts and pounding the law, but the Republicans are only pounding the table and the street in front of incumbent Assemblyman Abbate's District Office.
What about that rapist Joseph Brady who was Abbates legislative director for 18 years? He was arrested over 2 years ago and no hearing in court for him.
ReplyDeleteRESPONSE: THE "ABBATE & BRADY PROBLEM INVOLVES DEMOCRAT PROSECUTORS AND DEMOCRAT COURTS --- NOT THE ASSEMBLY PER SE" EDITION
ReplyDeleteTO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 10:05 AM"
THIS CHANG THING DOESN"T INVOLVE ANY PROSECUTORS OR COURTS YET --- IT WILL ALL BE DECIDED IN THE ASSEMBLY FIRST --- WITH LITTLE LIKELIHOOD THAT THE COURTS WILL EVER COME INTO IT, BECAUSE OF "UNCLEAN HANDS" BY CHANG AND THE REPUBLICANS
All that will change if the matter is referred to the Brooklyn or Albany DA for criminal investigation and prosecution after the Assembly proceedings are over.
Doesn't Gorra have people "on the inside" at the Board of Elections who could have flagged the Lester residency issue BEFORE this all happened ?
ReplyDeleteAbbates hands look a little dirty.
ReplyDeleteAri got more press than Brian Fox, John Quaglione, Liam Mcabe, Mike Ragusa, Avery Vivian and Nick Chamberas have gotten in their entire lives
ReplyDeleteHas anybody checked on Brian Fox since the earthquake Ari announcement? I heard he went to the ski lodge and hasn't been heard from since (if ya know what i mean)
ReplyDeleteNick Chamberas will beat Ari handily in a Primary. Nick is a real Republican.
ReplyDelete11:38 - YOU ARE CORRECT SIR. HE DOES - RAY RILEY AND THAT USELESS GIRL, WHATS HER NAME, GEORGIA.
ReplyDeleteIT WOULD TAKE TWO MINUTES TO CHECK ALL OF THE BROOKLYN CANDIDATES ADDRESSES AND QUALIFICAITONS AND THEY DIDNT.
THEY SHOULD ALL BE FIRED.
BUT ONCE THE CRIM INV IS DONE WHO KNOWS WHAT HEADS WOULD ROLL. CLEARLY RUNNING A CANDIDATE IN THE WRONG DISTRICT WHEN HE DOESNT QUALIFY IS FRAUD, ESPECIALLY IF THE COUNTY GOP CERTIFIED THAT HE RESDED IN BROOKLYN. HOW WILL HE FAIR IN PRISON, THAT SWEET YOUNG GHORRA?
Ari coverage was minor compared to Capano who was a regular on Radio and Fox news.
ReplyDeleteNobody will ever forget where they are the day Nick announces his candidacy.
ReplyDeleteI feel so bad for Lester. I hope he has good lawyers to give him advice because the Brooklyn Republicans sure can’t. Ted won’t go to the bathroom without the cousins permission and I don’t think Ray knows much about what he supposed to do at work besides complain how much work he has to do while surfing the web all day. How hard can it be to check a registration? Who but someone who is aspiring lifer to the BOE job could be that lazy?
ReplyDeleteEverybody loves seeing Bob Capano on the radio.
ReplyDeleteEverybody loves seeing Brian Fox on a steamy radiator.
And everybody thinks John Quaglione is assigned to do only the articles in the Tablet, which are done exclusively in Morse Code; even though John Q is recognized as a master for his ability to go up the down staircase at a local Catholic academy, sometimes stopping and explaining how he often does it while he is accelerating from a stopped position due to a condition of unexplained narcosis and/or narcolepsy.
I went to see the Rockafeller tree and a nice man named Nick Chamberas was serving hot chocolate. He was dressed as an elf. My family and I enjoyed it. Especially my 4 year old Avery
ReplyDeleteRay Riley, Kassar, and all the rest answer to Peter "I still have a million" Abbate. Lester wins but now he loses. And wait till you see the line up in that special election.
ReplyDeleteAll roads lead back to Ghorra. If Eaton were still Chair this would have never happened. The people Ghorra has embedded at the Elections Board should have known Lester lived with his mistress on Grand Street just as he did in 2016.
ReplyDeleteUPDATE& BACKFILL: THE "WHY IS GHORRA SO BAD AT EVERYTHING HE TRIES TO DO ???" EDITION
ReplyDeleteIN RESPONSE TO THE LEGAL AND FACTUAL MATTERS RAISED AGAINST REPUBLICAN ASSEMBLYMAN-ELECT LESTER CHANG'S RIGHT TO SIT IN THE NYS ASSEMBLY UNDER THE TERMS OF THE NYS CONSTITUTION --- BROOKLYN GOP CHAIRMAN TED GHORRA CAN ONLY PLAY THE RACE CARD --- AND HE IS PLAYING IT VERY BADLY >>> FOR A PERSON SELECTED SOLELY BASED ON RACE --- WHO NEVER LIVED IN THE DISTRICT WHERE HE RAN AND HAD NO COMMUNITY TIES OR ACTIVITIES THERE AT ANYTIME DURING HIS LIFE
ONE THING IS CERTAIN --- WHEN IT COMES TO THE ASSEMBLY SEAT FOR THE 49TH AD --- THE MORE TED GHORRA GETS INVOLVED, THE WORSE IT GETS AND THE WORSE THE BROOKLYN GOP LOOKS
This is what THEY Said: "... it appears, based on the preliminary ithe KCRCnformation obtained to date, that Mr. Chang has not complied with the provisions of Article III, Section 7 of the New York State constitution.... [T]he fact [is] that Lester Chang will not clarify the issues against the allegations that have been made, and it’s a constitutional issue.... [Chang has] got to swear an oath to the state constitution, and he won’t clarify that he’s lived in the borough [of Brooklyn] for a year....”
This how Ted Ghorra, the KCRP Chairman responded: "“Assemblyman-elect Lester Chang has his roots in Brooklyn since 1972, when he and his family purchased the house in which he was raised.... This is the same home in which he cares for his elderly mother and lives today. If Mr. Abbate and his cohorts wanted to challenge the Assemblyman-elect’s residency — or any candidates residency — they could have done it during the petitioning process, but they chose not to – because they would have failed in their attempts.... Assemblyman-elect Chang is the first Asian-American from Brooklyn ever elected to state office.... One would have hoped that this accomplishment would have been celebrated by Republicans and Democrats alike, especially in a district that is majority Asian-American; however, raw partisan politics sadly intervened, and that’s unfortunate … What’s happening is wrong, plain and simple...."
As you can plainly see, Ted Gharra, who we are told is a lawyer, completely avoids the main legal and evidentiary issue in the case --- whether Lester Chang has lived in Brooklyn for the one year prior to the 2022 election.
Meanwhile Lester Chang has pretty much stayed mum; and reports indicate he hasn't yet tried to prove to the committee investigating his case that he resided in Brooklyn for the whole year before the 2022 election.
Teds candidate to beat Abbate in the special is Bob Capano. Bob has proven in an election he can get 0.8% and years ago Bob lived in Brooklyn.
ReplyDelete1017, I don't think that Lester Chang had an address on 'Grand Street'.
ReplyDeleteLike Ralphie Parker, Lester Chang lived on Cleveland Street.
I don't know 'bout no 'mistress' for Chang, but unless it comes up in the new movie, I'm pretty sure Ralphie didn't have a mistress.
In 2016, Lester Chang mounted an unsuccessful campaign in the 65th Assembly District in Lower Manhattan. 4 years later he ran and lost in the 26th Senate District in Greenpoint. Chang is a solider of fortune and now his luck has run out.
ReplyDeleteAbbate will lose again.
ReplyDelete11:39 is correct. Chang just wants to be a politician. Doesnt care what neighbirhood, what country or what people. And he should not be seated. Go back to NYC where you belong
ReplyDeleteWhen Abbate loses he wins.
ReplyDeleteBrian Fox is considering becoming a Democrat because he can't believe how much press Ari Kagan has received.
ReplyDelete206 -- "NYC" consists of five boroughs. Did you know that?
ReplyDeleteI heard the rally saturday by chang saturday to "stop the steal" was Chamberas idea....he is brilliant...
ReplyDeletesomeone tell 2:06 Brooklyn is part of NYC
ReplyDeleteNick was the brains behind everything in the 49th. Thats why we still have Abbate.
ReplyDeleteNick will have an announcement soon about his plans in the 49th.
ReplyDeleteThe un-lawful MAGA Republican January 6th-style pro-Chang insurrectionist riot at long-time lawfully-elected Peter Abbate's District Office was egged-on by many current Brooklyn GOP leaders including the cynical Brooklyn-hating racist Vito LaBella and English language-hating Jessie Harrison.
ReplyDeleteHarrison was particularly interesting in her video rant, where she admitted that Lester Chang is from Manhattan and says that she's OK with that.
After the NYS Assembly lawfully rejects the usurper Assemblyman-Elect MAGA Republican Lester Chang in January, it needs to conduct January 6th-style hearings about the Crimes against Public Order committed by the Brooklyn MAGA Republicans in order to further their criminal scheme to steal the 49th AD Assembly seat in the falsely predicted "Red Wave" 2022 election in Brooklyn.
LaBella, Harrison, and Ghorra need to be called as witnesses, among others shown and identified in the photos and videos of those unlawfully assembled to interfere with NYS Assemby business involving Assemblyman-Elect MAGA Republican Lester Chang, as well as other government activities being conducted at Assemblyman Abbate's District Office.
All republicans need to be removed and charged with interference. Not just Lester.
ReplyDeleteUnlawful elections are the first step toward fascism.
ReplyDeleteCommunism cannot be effectively countered by a decadent liberal democracy like ours, but Communism can be defeated, as it once was by a Fascist-like Christian formulation, ala Saint Francisco Franco's "FET y de las JONS."
ReplyDeleteChambareass will show all. Or is it Chambles?
ReplyDelete1252, even though the "riot" was aimed at NYS Assemblyman Abbate, these local Brooklyn January 6th MAGA Republican issurectionists were interfering with one of Congressman Jerrold Nadler's District Offices. Schumer and Pelosi or Jeffries need to investigate this because the tactics are exactly the same as what the MAGA Republicans did at the Capitol in 2021 on January 6th.
ReplyDeleteI saw Michael N. Connors cutting a ribbon at Fontbonne high school. I give it 3 years before they shut down for good
ReplyDeleteUPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "SOMETHINGS NEVER CHANGE" EDITION
ReplyDeleteVITO LA BELLA'S NEW VOICE SOUNDS A LOT LIKE HIS OLD VOICE --- WITH HIS SOCIAL MEDIA PUSHING A MESSAGE THAT "IT'S 'ALL ABOUT RACE--ALL THE TIME'..." --- IT'S THE SAME RACIALLY DIVISIVE WHINE, WHETHER LA BELLA IS TALKING ABOUT HIS OWN RACE AGAINST IWEN CHU, THE DEMOCRATS' OBJECTION TO SEATING ASSEMBLYMAN-ELECT LESTER CHANG FOR INELIGIBILITY TO SERVE UNDER THE NYS CONSTITUTION, OR PROSPECTIVE TENANTS COMPLAINING ABOUT DISCRIMINATORY ASIAN LANDLORDS DURING THEIR TESTIMONY BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL
SUCH WHINING SHOWS THAT VITO LA BELLA IS SUCH A "KAREN"--- AND YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHAT WE MEAN BY THAT --- WHENEVER HE IS CONFRONTED BY ANY MINORITY PERSON WITH A GRIEVANCE OR EVEN HEAR'S ANY DURING TESTIMONIALS AT AN OPEN FORUM.....
MEMBERS OF THE BAY RIDGE-DYKER HEIGHTS COMMUNITY HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT VITO LA BELLA'S HATEFUL & DIVISIVE RHETORIC FOR YEARS --- BUT THAT'S ABOUT THE ONLY THING THAT TED GHORRA'S BROOKLYN GOP SEEMS TO LIKE ABOUT VITO
Obviously, the Brooklyn GOP intends to ring in the New Year with their hate machine cranked to full blast, and it's clear that Vito La Bella wants to be sure he can be heard above all the rest.
A deal was cut. Brannan wins.
ReplyDeleteWe need Nick. Liam who??
ReplyDeleteKagin, Ted and the rest are interfering with Democracy. Kagin may fool the voters but a majority of the council can and will refuse to seat him.
ReplyDeleteKaren is Vito's maiden name.
ReplyDeleteNo republicans will ever take office until all of the MAGA element is removed from the party. treason is behind chang, kagan and the criminals who are election deniers.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing Brannen cuts are farts.
ReplyDeleteShame on the cousins Ted & Jerry and the rest of the Brooklyn GOP Brooklyn Conservatives and other assorted grifters and morons for not publicizing the free circus they put on today. They told us it was going to be a press conference.
ReplyDeleteMAGA Republicans are terrorists.
ReplyDeleteChang has hearing before Assembly Judiciary Comm on December 19th
ReplyDeleteLiam moved to Warwick, New York
