Will this be historic ??? With Biden getting mentally worse every day --- and the Biden economy and inflation at the top of three-quarters of the voters' lists of issues..... Or is it all histrionics when it comes to Brooklyn ?????

.....  Some comentators and observers are predicting the biggest Republican national landslide since before FDR and the Democrats took over in 1932

The question begs  ---  will the Brooklyn GOP & Conservatives, and the likes of Ted Ghorra, Jerry Kassar, Fran Vella-Marrone and Marty Golden with their crop of stellar candidates like Brian Fox & Vito LaBella screw up what might be the biggest GOP wave election in over a hundred years

Biden recently said this about his student loan debt bailout: "It's passed. I got it passed by a vote or two...." --- and then he said this about guns: "My legislation says there can be no more than eight bullets in a round, okay?” (now THAT is some really deadly-scary ballistic technology).

Biden must think that he's still a Senator;  and he is talking about this stuff like it's his legislation, not presidential executive action.   ---  That's really not the best look for a sitting president.

As for "It's the economy, stupid..."  ---  not many people are using the word, but what Biden's progran has given the country is a "stag-flation" economy  ---  with food, fuel and other necessities creeping higher all the time, and real growth at a standstill.

The first two Biden years will be compared to the worst of Harry Truman combined with the worst of Jimmy Carter with the worst of Bill Clinton and the worst of Barack Hussein Obama  >>>  all of which led to big GOP landslides in Congrssional, state and local elections across the country.  For the first time in a long time, everything local is national, and everything national is local.

But in Brooklyn don't expect any of that to help more than one or two, or possibly three GOP and Conservative  candidates  ---  thanks to the party apparatus and operations (together with a couple of special side deals with Dems) put together by Golden, Ghorra, Kassar and Vella-Marrone. The only real GOP power in Brooklyn is what's being run mostly by Democrat Dov Hikind & Company in the Kings Bay, Sheepshead Bay, Brighton Beach and Manhattan Beach enclave.

  1. If Harry Truman still has relatives in the 17th than Vito wins.

  2. Nicole, Brook-Krasny and Vito win.

    Fox and Chang lose.

  3. Kassar is more interested in who came to Fran's debate than anything else, and he think's that Dyker Heights shoulde be insulted because he's being insulted. Neither the Dyker Heights Civic Association nor Jerry Kassar and Fran Vella-Marrone have really mattered for years.

  4. TEA LEAVES; CRYSTAL BALLS & ENTRAILS OF SLAUGHTERED ANIMALS: THE "AFTER ELECTION DAY PREDICTIONS" EDITION

WHAT TWO OF THE LOCAL STATE SENATE RACES MIGHT REALLY BE ALL ABOUT BEHIND THE CURTAINS OF THE BROOKLYN GOP AND CONSERVATIVE PARTY

In the Brooklyn GOP & Conservative Party mix, some interesting sleight of hand will come after election day, when a few victories due to the combination of a national "Red Wave" and horrible Democrat opposition candidates are claimed by local GOP & Conservative "players" as personal victories. Very much in the nature of the rooster claiming credit for the sunrise.

The real focus should be on what might have been, which is a different way of saying all of the failures that will be coming, given the combination of a national "Red Wave" and horrible Democrat opposition candidates. Who will get blamed for the total eclipse of the sun for most of the Republican candidates on the GOP ballots all around Brooklyn --- including but not limited to the two state senate candidates from Bay Ridge running in the corner of Brooklyn shared by Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights.

Whoever wins the arguments as to whose fault is was for the 2022 losses will be one step up in the jockeying for the once a decade NY City Council race in the new district in 2023.

Right now, people like Fox, LaBella and Ragusa think that they are the players in that 2023 game, but the real players in the Brooklyn GOP and Conservative Party now hate all three of them as candidates for anything going forward.

There are players and people that think they are players --- let's see how it plays-out in 2022; and then we'll see who gets to play-in in 2023.

  9. If these new councilmanic maps are approved by the reapportionment commission, Boss Brannan will be unbeatable in 2023. I hate Boss Brannan but only because he is a chess master and beats us at every turn. A Brooklyn Republican would be better off running against David Carr for the Staten Island-Dyker crossover seat or the new Chinese seat they will create. If Boss Brannan gets Bay Ridge + Coney Island, he will be invincible and that seat will be sealed off for the next decade until it is time for reapportionment in 2032.

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 10:08 AM"

WE DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE --- AND WE DON'T CARE WHO YOU MIGHT BE --- NONE OF YOUR COMMENT IS CORRECT --- OR INSIGHTFUL --- OR HUMOROUS IN ANY WAY

IN OTHER WORDS --- IT WAS PRETTY WORTHLESS

Nobody thinks that GOP-Conservative Party candidates like Brian Fox, Vito LaBella or Lester Chang are "players" in local politics. How can they be, in a very meaningful individual ways, all three of them are carpetbaggers.

  13. Lester Chang got an assistant director credit for his work in the Vita LaBella 68 nypd meeting video

  14. 1256, from what I've heard, Brannan thinks the whole current Fox-LaBella-Ragusa fiasco during the 2022 election year about who does what in 2023 is a hoot-and-a-half, and he hopes that they all stick to their guns going into 2023

  16. Vito signs are barely anywhere outside district and nowhere to be found in the 17th. People are being begged to go to the fundraiser tomorrow you know it’s true can’t deny it. They ran out of money already. The Cape Cod Post might endorse Vito but that’s as close as they will get to the New York Post or New York PBA endorsement. Can you say wannabes?

  20. 1142, please pardon our frankness, but that sounds like very fake news.

  21. 11:42 the only money “pouring” into Vito’s group is probably from Cape Cod Savings Bank as Vito has to keep making personal withdrawals to keep his campaign afloat.
