THE "IS THAT ALL THERE IS, MY FRIEND, THEN LET'S KEEP DANCING..." EDITION

"IS THAT ALL THERE IS" WAS A WELL-KNOW SONG BY PEGGY LEE BACK WHEN REPUBLICANS NIXON AND FORD WERE PRESIDENT  ---  BUT ITS DOLEFUL INTROSPECTION WOULD BE VERY APT WHEN LOOKING AT THE CANDIDATE CALLED "BRIAN FOX"

FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT BET WE WOULD NEVER MENTION BRIAN FOX IN THE SAME SENTENCE AS PEGGY LEE  ---  YOU LOSE  ---  IT'S TIME TO PAY UP.....

WHEN YOU LOOK AT THE OBVIOUSLY TOO CORPULENT & COMPLACENT TO THE POINT OF BEING COMATOSE CARCAS CALLED BRIAN FOX, YOU MIGHT HESITATE TO ASK: "IS THAT ALL THERE IS ???"  ---  BECAUSE YOU'RE AFRAID TO RISK HEARING THAT THERE MIGHT BE SOME OF THAT BIG FAT BALD-HEADED FUCK THAT HAS BEEN HIDDEN FROM VIEW BY SOME TRICK OF CGI COSTUMING OR OTHER ELECTRIC LIGHT MAGIC

BUT WE HERE AT THIS INDEPENDENT GOP BLOG FOR BROOKLYN & STATEN ISLAND ARE TOUGH ENOUGH TO ASK THE HARD QUESTIONS LIKE  ---  "IS THAT ALL THERE IS ?????"  ---  AS FAR AS BRIAN FOX IS CONCERNED

As we enter the final stages of the 2022 election cycle,  Brian Fox is showing everybody exactly what he's got and what he's made of. ---  And  ---  it's even worse than what he showed us in his 2021 race for NY City Council.

Almost a day late, Fox has doubled-down on the dismal abysmal "anti-crime rally" at the corner of 79th Street and Third Avenue in Bay Ridge on his campaign's FB page.  After a few others had already posted the pix of that "all hands" Brooklyn GOP and Conservative Party "event," Fox and friends obviously thought that he needed to weigh-in as well.

This is typical Brian Fox material  ---  a dull and listless presentation of his "Johnny One Note" anti-crime pitch.....  However, since as usual, he is a day late and a pound short, everybody needs to ask  ---  is Brian Fox's heart really in any of it ?  Does Brian Fox really care about crime in our neighborhoods, even a little bit ???

Even the "I hate Brooklyn" Vito LaBella was recently able to engage in a public debate with the 68th Precinct Commander about how the crime stats were being misused to cover up the spikes in many categories of local crime that local voters really care about.

Would Brian Fox ever do such a thing ?  ---  Could he ???

There is a real "Red Tide" coming  ---  and it will even be felt here in Brooklyn  ---  but  ---  thanks to the very lack-luster effort by Brian Fox, he will still get beaten badly by Andrew Gounardes.....  And like his day-late pix of  an anti-crime rally 500 feet from where he lives, and about a hundred feet from "Offshore..." where he has his breakfast  ---  when it comes to Brian Fox  ---  that's all there is.

  4. Is Brian Fox actually running? I haven't seen any signs at all. And he just accepted another job. He's given up.

    1. 523, another job?
I thought he had one, or two, or whatever someplace: longtime local BR registered-voter politically-active entrepreneur and all that.

  5. 5:23. I saw him communing w two people in front of Foodtown one? two? months ago.
He ignored the folks passing by and looked less election-interested than an artichoke.
He also looks worrisomely unhealthy. I got no problems with zaftig or a middle-aged belly, but this fella looks stuffed sideways to popping.

  6. Brian Fox has more in common with a Chacma baboon than he does with us Republicans.

  7. 116, it's never a good idea to provoke a "Chacma baboon"

  8. UPDATE ON ANOTHER TOPIC: THE "NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT" EDITION

IN ANOTHER "IS THAT ALL THERE IS, MY FRIEND, THEN LET'S KEEP DANCING..." MOMENT.....

Senator Mitch McConnell is trying to undermine two GOP candidacies: New Hampshire Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate Don Bolduc and Alaska Republican Senate candidate Kelly Tshibaka, by diverting GOP Senate funds away from the former's campaign in a race that is now tied, and using GOP Senate funds against the latter, in a race where she is leading.

  9. A Marist poll, conducted in September 2022, showed only 18% of registered voters think John Quaglione is smarter than a cantaloupe. The other 82% have no idea who John Quaglione is.

  12. A man was beaten and robbed on 4th ave & 68th street. To draw attention to the problem Vito took his boat out on the cape cod sound.

  13. 902, my Uncle Mickey's poll told me that Donald's gonna beat Andy G and Giorgia Meloni will be our next gov.

  14. Vito L made a spectacle of himself again when he went to the 68th precinct gathering to yell at the cops. He seemed taken aback by the fact that he didn’t get the applause he expected, after all it’s not everyday somebody sails back to Brooklyn for a poorly executed publicity stunt. Boy Vito really jumped the shark on this one!

  15. Vito spoke up at the 68th pct challenging the fake stats while Iwen Chu was silent. You decide.

  16. Abbates legislative director Joseph Brady was arrested 2 years ago for raping a teenage girl. What happened?

  17. I overheard Vito asking the cops for the exact longitude/latitude coordinates of the next 68 Precinct Meeting so he could sail right up in his dingy

  18. On the surface, the Republicans need to pick up about a dozen seats in the NYS Senate to gain control of that chamber. That is probably impossible, even in the expected massive "Red Wave" in 2022.

However, if the GOP picks up nine or ten seats in the NY State Senate, there might be some real horse trading, and GOP leadership in the NY Senate has an outside chance of happening.

  19. 1:18 seems to be theme decided on by Team Vito which is to pander to loopy internet conspiracy theorists who no one but them takes seriously. Iwen was being polite she could have told Vito to sit down and shut up. Very soon Vito and his crew gonna find out this ain’t nothing like running for PTA President.
