Something to add to the Bad, Bad Visuals --- Brian Fox disses two key ethnic groups necessary for any Republican-Conservative Candidate in the 43rd Council District

When it comes to Brian Fox and his campaign for City Council it just goes from  >>> BAD TO WORSE <<<  (and we here on this Independent GOP Blog think that the worst is yet to come  ---  after all, it's only early May)

BRIAN FOX AND HIS CAMPAIGN GOT PRANKED  >>>  BIG TIME <<<   THE GOP-CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE FOR CITY COUNCIL HAPPILY WENT ALONG WITH SOMEBODY'S BLATANT SWIPE AT IRISH-AMERICANS WHILE THEY WERE BASHING JUSTIN BRANNAN

On April 26th a phony Twitter account called Brian Fox' opponent,  Justin Brannan "...that Irish bum....";  and on April 27th, the Twitter account "Brian Fox for City Council@BrianFox4NYC" replied on Twitter,  "Sure send me a private message with the best number to reach you"

Last week it seems that Brian Fox and or his top people in the campaign got punked by a mocking-jay  Twitter site for/about/aimed at former City Councilman Sal Albanese  ---  and that punking is being reported on the Radio Free Bay Ridge Twitter feed.  And, sure, this is a smear story from an open and obviously left-leaning Democrat source  ---   BUT, IT IS JUST TOO GOOD FOR US TO PASS UP  ---  and pass it on to our readers, so they can see and evaluate it.

Here's what the Twitter feed from Radio Free Bay Ridge says:

"Radio Free Bay Ridge @RadioFreeBR [earlier this week] ....  Following on the heels of calling Italians by a racial epithet on his Facebook page, the GOP candidate for City Council in #BayRidge gets tricked by a clearly fake Sal Albanese account into agreeing that our current councilman is an 'Irish Bum'....  You can't make this stuff up" AND THIS ".... Radio Free Bay Ridge@RadioFreeBR [earlier this week] Also, this shit has been up for over a WEEK..."  AND THEN THIS  "Radio Free Bay Ridge@RadioFreeBR [earlier this week]  ... it implies that not only did 'Sal' not get back to Brian... but the lack of communication didn't trigger an alarm bell and instead Brian is still waiting by his phone...."

The RFBR Tweet then showed a screen shot of the swag Sal Albanese Twitter feed "Sal FAlbanese@SalAlbany" that  >>> OBVIOUSLY PUNKED  <<<  Brian Fox and/or his campaign folks  >>> BIG TIME <<<  and it showed this:  "Sal FAlbanese@SalAlbany....  @BrianFox4NYC Ring me. I represented mostly Bay Ridge from 1983 - 1998 before you was born but I can help you beat that Irish bum....  9:57 PM  Apr 26, 2021...."

Then the RFBR Tweet showed the screen shot of the beginning of  a reply from "Brian Fox for City Council@BrianFox4NYC";  and that reply was shown as the following: "Brian Fox for City Council@BrianFox4NYC - Apr 27....  Replying to @SalAlbany....   Sure send me a private message with the best number to reach you."

***  "... FOUNTAINHEAD" READERS PLEASE NOTE:  THIS SEEMS A LITTLE TOO CUT'N'DRY AND REALLY BAD FOR BF & THE BF CAMPAIGN.....  TO US HERE, THE WORD "SURE" IN THE REPLY FROM THE FOX CAMPAIGN TWITTER ACCOUNT IS JUST A LITTLE TOO MUCH LOCKED-IN ON THE TARGET,  AND TOO PAT BY A SCOASH  ---  SO HERE, WE'RE AT LEAST A LITTLE BIT SUSPICIOUS ***

HOWEVER, IF THIS STORY PANS-OUT AS TRUE  >>>  THEN IT LOOKS LIKE BRIAN FOX AND HIS CAMPAIGN CAN'T TAKE TWO STEPS WITHOUT STEPPING ON THEIR COLLECTIVE DICK [OR IS THAT JOINT AND SEVERAL DICKS]

  1. I hear justin aint running. Makes sense. We know he has trouble moving.

    ReplyDelete
  2. Not one of these people running not him nor Mark S not Inna V have real campaign workers. Liam is the campaign manager for all of them and he collects the money as they can pay while the Bruno go around putting up lawn signs. I think they made a deal with Democrats. No need to get upset we seen this story every year.

  3. For the first time since the start of the pandemic I got on the subway today at 8 am. There was Brian Fox and two underlings campaigning at 77th street R.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Sounds like justin isnt running because he voted to defund the police.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Brian Fox claims to be a longtime resident of this area. How long would that be exactly? And where did he live before that, and for how long? And where did he live before that, and for how long?

Let's forget about the race/ethnicity thing for now, what were Brian Fox's religious and cultural influences growing up, like who raised him and in what religion, if any?

    ReplyDelete
  6. To 11:06 -- I don't vote for or against a candidate's "religion, if any."

    ReplyDelete
  7. Brian Fox moved to Bay Ridge about 2.5 years ago. Last year Brian Fox was on social media sites discussing his plans to move up to The Poconos. Now Brian Fox thinks he is entitled to represent 178,000 people. Makes sense to me!

    ReplyDelete
  8. 1128, it sounds like you certainly need a little auto-da-fe kind of tune up. We're just checking to see if Brian Fox needs one as well.

    ReplyDelete
  9. 12:17, I fail to see why religion-or-not matters.

    ReplyDelete
  10. 335, you are feeling your way without the light of faith, you are like a blind man. However, you are not hopelessly lost; after all, you do describe your current mental situation as a failure on your part.

  11. At least Fox is around now. Last time I saw Justin was 4 years ago when he was running. I guess hes not running.

  12. All this talk about Brian Fox's campaigning is silly.
After calling Italian-Americans 'ginzos' and Irish-Americans 'bums,' Brian Fox can kiss his gimcrack campaign for City Council goodbye. He can bight the heads off of chickens and pound salt up his ass at the subway stations along Fourth Avenue, along New Utrecht, and along the 'N' line; and he can put dirty graffiti on all his posters in shops on all the business avenues wherever he wants; and he can take the spikes from any lawn signs that he might buy and jab them into the eyes of any of the folks that still want to vote for him; and he wouldn't do anymore damage than he's done in the first two weeks of active campaigning.
It's the Sixth of May, and Brian Fox is already at the stage of diminishing returns. The way things are now, Brannan can take May, June and the rest of summer off, and he'd pick up votes against Fox.
So just stop the silly talk about any Brian Fox campaign for the votes of 'ginzos' and 'Irish bums' around Brannan's Council District.

  13. Such angst over Fox working the streets while fat fuck justin convinces everyone its ok for him to stay home gorging on chop suey.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Brian,
You want angst, I'll show you angst.

Just sing this to yourself and you'll begin to understand about your campaign and where it's goin':

... it's time to turn out the lights, Malinda
When you turn out the lights, oh
When you turn out the lights
    There ain't no one left
    'Cept you 'n' me

... so, turn out the lights, Malinda

  18. In the great Sumo Wrestling match between incumbent Democrat Councilman Justin Brannen and Republican upstart Brian Fox, when Brian Fox threw his handful of salt into the air, a bunch got in his eyes, and now he can't seem to find his way into the ring. Fox's sensei, Liam McCabe, doesn't know how to help Fox, because Liam never could find his own way into the ring anytime he had a match of his own, and even as sensei, his wards seldom have gotten inside the circle in any match that counted.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Whether the Fox team thinks it's the last campaign or the next campaign, nobody seems to have the right music for this campaign. And Liam McCabe the pretend conductor of this orchestrated train wreck doesn't know that his band doesn't have the right score, because he never learned how to read music.

  23. Justin wrote an op-ed about some taxi cab stuff that he thinks will divert attention from the only issue in the race which is his crucial vote to defund the police.

    ReplyDelete
  24. Look on the bright side folks, after another bad campaign finance filing by Curtis the press will pay even less attention to him, he’ll get crushed in the general, Bob will get a much needed reality check and Vito will go back full time to putting up lawn signs for Ted Ghorra which is what he really enjoys doing the most anyhow.

    ReplyDelete
  25. But Justin Brannan did not defund the NYPD. Justin Brannan supported over ten billion dollars in spending on the NYPD in the current fiscal year. Any real cuts in police spending were under half a billion dollars and in line with overall spending cuts to all NYC agencies due to budget shortfalls from the COVID-19 crisis in 2020.

    ReplyDelete
  26. so why is the PBA against you?

    ReplyDelete
  27. 1219, the PBA against me? What are you talking about? As far as I know, the PBA was never against me.
Besides, the PBA should be declared an illegal organization of public employees who should have no collective bargaining rights whatsoever, along with all the other parasitic public employee unions.
All good Republicans and Conservatives should unequivocally be against the PBA, and all the other overreaching and greedy unions, associations, syndications, combinations, brotherhoods, fellowships, and the like by public employees. The NYC public employee unions are typical of the worst form of syndicalist European socialism in these United States. New York needs to go back to what it was in an era before the Taylor Law, or even the Condon-Wadlin Act. Not only no right to strike, no right to bargain, no right to organize, and no exceptions.

    ReplyDelete
  28. justin we know 1:13 is you and you know the PBA is against you.

    ReplyDelete
  29. oh yeah 11:09 is not justin. just some person who has the bullshit numbers about justin being for the cuts before he was against it.

    ReplyDelete
  30. 735, 1219, 149 & 214, you are all such numbskulls..... I'm both 1109 & 113: and I am not Justin Brannan, never have been, and don't wannabe; and as far as I know, the PBA still isn't against me; but that might change when they see how much I am against them. BTW, DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT JUSTIN BRANNNAN WOULD EVER ADVOCATE FOR THE DE-AUTHORIZATION OF ALL CITY UNIONS LIKE I DID IN MY COMMENT AT 113?
FYI, all of what you call 'bullshit numbers' came from an article that I read in the "Gotham Gazette' @ https://www.gothamgazette.com/city/9475-defund-the-nypd-whats-in-new-york-city-police-department-budget-de-blasio. That article was largely based on the number crunching by the Citizens' Budget Commission, appearing in the CBC's own report @ https://cbcny.org/research/was-nypd-budget-cut-1-billion; and there were similar articles based on real analyses of the Fiscal 2020 NYC Budget in other MSM sources like Bloomberg News, and the NYT.

One of the reasons that Brooklyn GOP and Conservative Party candidates are no longer competitive, is that they can't debate any issues using real financial data and other facts, and other details of the policy choices related to almost any and all issues. Quite simply, the candidates and their campaign 'professionals' are lazy and don't want to do the work necessary to be able to debate the real issues in a way that professionals could and should.

    ReplyDelete
  31. Cuts made to the NYPD budget last year were commensurate with all the other agency cuts across the scope. That is a factual assertion based on the numbers and the data. Honestly, NYPD wasn't cut as much as some other agencies. This can also be easily researched. If you still don't believe it, ask the Bay Ridge if Brannan defunded the NYPD and let us know what they tell ya

    Brian Fox for Senate 2022

    ReplyDelete
  32. 343, the "Bay Ridge" what...? You're such a tease.

    ReplyDelete
  33. The fact is justin voted to defund the police by 20%. And at the time he bragged about it.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Well, well, well! Are you really sure about that being a 'fact' that 'is'?

    ReplyDelete
  35. 808, didn't the incumbent City Councilman from the 43rd Council District say this when he voted In favor the NYC budget last year, which heavily funded the NYPD to the tune of almost $11 billion:
'I’ve agonized over this budget, and the message that it will send during this extraordinary time. The economic fallout from COVID is worse than we had anticipated and in order to deliver a balanced budget we need to close an absurdly daunting gap. No cuts were easy, but no cuts were punitive. Every choice was a tough one. Passing a budget that cuts any of the services or programs New Yorkers have come to rely on is as close as it gets to impossible. But it’s our duty as elected officials to do what is best for the neighborhoods we represent and the city as a whole. I’m most grateful for the leadership of my colleagues in the BLAC and the budget negotiating team who have lived and breathed this budget for several weeks. I do believe that we did the best we could considering the brutal hand that COVID dealt.
They say a budget is a statement of values. During a dire fiscal crisis it must also be a statement of priorities. I know that some who are calling for defunding the NYPD are not satisfied with the cuts that we’ve made here tonight. I know that the one billion that we cut is not happening in a way some advocates had envisioned. But police reform doesn’t end tonight. There’s still much to be done and the work must continue. Treating all New Yorkers with dignity and respect while keeping everyone safe are goals that can coexist.
In the meantime, voting against the budget would mean voting against childcare vouchers, senior centers, and programs that can feed the hungry. Voting against this budget would mean voting against summer youth jobs, voter literacy, and CUNY. Voting against this budget would mean voting against protections for domestic violence survivors, and protections for people facing eviction. This budget is far from perfect. We can all find something we don’t agree with, or something we wish there was more or less of. But in this moment, this budget keeps the light on in the city and it allows us to fight another day towards building a better, safer and more equitable city. And with that, I vote aye on all.'

It is simply NOT A FACT that 'justin voted to defund the police by 20%. And at the time he bragged about it.' So, right now, except for a big lie, Brian Fox has no campaign issues at all.

    ReplyDelete
  36. There's no way Brian Fox is this stupid, right? Someone please tell me he's only acting

    ReplyDelete
  37. Election is 7 months off and everyone is talking about Brian Fox. An African American supported by the PBA. Justin and his op-eds about petty issues that will not distract from his denials that he voted to defund the NYPD by over 1 billion dollars. justins approach is he'll carry deblasios water after he leaves office may inspire justin to leave with him.

    ReplyDelete
  38. 746: "African American"? I thought he was Armenian. Or maybe Methodist. Or vegan.

  39. RESPONSE: THE "I THINK YOU COUNTED WRONG ON YOUR FINGERS" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 7:46 AM"

I THINK THE ELECTION IS ONLY SIX MONTHS OFF --- BUT THE MATH IS SO MUCH HARDER WHEN YOU NEED TWO HANDS

FIRST, >>> "EVERYBODY" <<< ISN'T TALKING ABOUT BRIAN FOX OR ANY OF THIS STUFF --- MAYBE A FEW COMMENT MAKERS ON THIS BLOG AND A COUPLE OF OTHER PLACES, BUT THAT'S ABOUT IT.....

AS FOR BRIAN FOX' SUPPORT BY THE PBA, THAT'S ONLY ONE MUNICIPAL UNION AND NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE --- AND AT THIS STAGE, NOBODY KNOWS YET IF THEY WILL DO OR SAY ANYTHING THAT MIGHT BE HELPFUL TO FOX OR THE FOX CAMPAIGN --- NEVER FORGET THAT IN A MORE CONSERVATIVE-LEANING AND PRO-COP DISTRICT, THEY COULDN'T DO A THING TO SAVE MARTY G.....

HOW RELATVANT ARE THE BRAGGING OR DENIALS ABOUT ANY CLAIMS OF "DEFUNDING" THE NYPD "A BILLION DOLLARS" IN FY 2021 --- WHEN THE POLICE WERE >>> NOT <<< "DEFUNDED A BILLION DOLLARS" OR EVEN HALF THAT AMOUNT ?????

Now, who is it that thinks bringing up that Brian Fox might be African-American is a good idea ? Do they know for sure that he IS African-American, or have enough parts African American in him to be called one ??? For that matter, Brian Fox might be as likely to be Jewish or have enough parts of Jewishness in him to be called one.

At this early stage of the "campaign," we should be finding out who Brian Fox really is; how and where it is that he was raised, and by whom; when, how, and why did he come to Bay Ridge; and will he soon be packing-up his carpet bag and going someplace else ?????

    ReplyDelete
  40. The PBA is the most important union in bay ridge and the PBA is making this council race numero uno. Will the voters be impressed with DC 37 doing robo calls for justin? I guess that depends on how bad the voters want to defund the police.

    ReplyDelete
  41. I guess you never heard of the UFT.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I think most of the voters don't think the New York cops are as wonderful as you say, and they don't know why New York City pays ten times as much for its cops as Chicago or LA, or more than five times as much as Chicago and LA combined.

    ReplyDelete
  43. UFT not so popular these days with voters. Defund the police not so popular. That makes the obese absent incumbent not so popular. But maybe diblasio will bail justin out.

    ReplyDelete
  44. The racist bigotry this blog has proliferated has caused me to make a final comment. Fox has been marginalized by commenters because they think an African American wont carry Bay ridge. The anti Arab hatred towards our Chair Ghorra are unpalatable.

    ReplyDelete
  45. 12:27 is right. ANTIFA has become very popular in Bay ridge. Justin has the UFT, DiBlasio, ANTIFA. He cant lose

    ReplyDelete
  46. Brian Fox is an Afro-Latina who has chosen to remove gender binaries. Don't tell Liam or he may make a mess on the carpet.

    ReplyDelete
  47. What will it take for the PBA to stop opportunistically claiming that every crime is caused by bail reform or civil rights protections and basic police transparency? Please explain just how repealing 50a led to a shooting in Times Square? Or even better, how did New York's bail laws caused a NATIONWIDE crime increase? As a black man, Brian Fox should be able to explain this

    ReplyDelete
  48. Teds an arab? Maybe that thing on his head is a Turban.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Anti Arab hatred towards useless Ghorra? Haven’t seen that at all. I guess you are trying to help him recover from the article in politicsny which calls him a racist

    ReplyDelete
  50. Lets face it. Justin is this years Max Rose.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Lets face it. Brian is this years Bernie Madoff.

    ReplyDelete
  52. I previously stated that I was posting my last comment due to the racist tone of the collective theme of all of these comments with particular attention to the anti arab remarks towards our chairman Ted Ghorra. So just one more comment directed at 8:48. You are clearly a fool who skates the boundaries of bigotry and hatred.

Never will I again participate in this juvenile dialogue.

WE GRIEVE THAT WE ARE LOSING YOU..... BUT SINCE WE DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE OR EVEN MIGHT BE, WE CAN'T REALLY MEASURE OUR LOSS.....

BUT JUST A FEW POINTS: I DIDN'T KNOW THAT ANTI-ARAB REMARKS WERE IN ANY WAY RACIST --- AS FAR AS WE'RE CONCERNED WE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT "ARABS" WERE A RACE --- AS FOR THE REMARKS OF COMMENTER "...AT 8:48 PM" >>> PERHAPS THE HUMOR IS A LITTLE WORN AND THREADBARE IN THESE PARTS, VIS A VIS TED GHORRA'S HEADGEAR; HOWEVER, WE DON'T THINK THAT ANY OF THE STATEMENT BY "...8:48 PM" IS/WAS IN ANY WAY OBJECTIONABLE --- TURBAN SCHMURBAN, IT'S JUST ANOTHER SILLY HAT IN A WORLD FULL OF SILLY HATS

AS FOR ANY "... RACIST TONE OF THE COLLECTIVE THEME OF ALL THESE COMMENTS..." WE CAN'T DISCERN ANY THEME OR TONE COMING OUT OF THE RAMBLING CACOPHANY THAT ARE THE TOTALITY OF THE COMMENTS ON THIS BLOG --- AND AS FOR ANY "SKAT[ING ON] THE BOUNDARIES OF BIGOTRY AND HATRED" --- AS LONG AS THE COMMENTS ARE SKATING WITH PRECISION ON THE PROPER SIDE OF SUCH BOUNDARIES, EH !!! WHAT'S THE HARM ???

In closing, let us say this to you with our telling of "the rest of t[this] story" in the words of Paul Harvey and Paul Harvey, Jr., "BYE, BYE !!!"

    ReplyDelete
  55. Thats all Im going to take. In the face of such bold ignorant bigotry I have to post one last and final comment about the Turban being a silly hat.

To the 30 million Sikhs in this world the Turban is a sacred symbol of peace harmony and equality. The FBI is investigating the murder of Parmjit Singh who was stabbed to death for wearing a Turban. Consider where Parmjit is today because of what you call a silly hat.

    ReplyDelete
  56. RESPONSE: THE "YOU ARE BEING A TIRESOME ASS --- DIDN'T WE SAY 'BYE, BYE !!!' TO YOU BEFORE" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 9:25 AM" & "... AT 1:33 PM"

A SILLY HAT IS A SILLY HAT IS A SILLY HAT --- THAT IS NOT "... BOLD IGNORANT BIGOTRY" --- IT IS A STATEMENT OF FACT --- MANY OF THE SILLY HATS AROUND THE WORLD HAVE RELIGIOUS SIGNIFICANCE TO SOMEBODY OR OTHER..... OTHER TIMES SILLY HEADGEAR IS A METHOD OF SUBJUGATING WOMEN FOR RELIGIOUS REASONS..... STILL OTHER TIMES SILLY HEADGEAR IS USED BY HATE GROUPS TO INSTILL FEAR OR EVEN TERROR

As for Mr. Parmjit Singh, that is a very old FBI case, where the charges against one suspect, alleging some sort of racial or religious animus, were long ago dismissed. So your saying that somebody was stabbed to death just because of the headgear he was wearing is just somebody talking through their hat. --- And in your case, it just might be a very silly one.
