Now that it's all been explained to me.....

A bunch of Conservative Party types from around New York State,  and a few  Republican officeholders, and assorted conservative minded movers and shakers gathered at a NYS Conservative Party sponsored event in Rockland County quite recently

Many talked about big plans for next year's statewide elections, and some of the NYS Senate races here and there  ---  what nobody cared all that much about, and what was left largely undiscussed by almost everybody, were any real upside prospects in the 2021 NYC municipal elections

What made all of that seem very strange was that, not only was Jerry Kassar there as the virtual MC of the event, almost his full crew of Brooklyn Conservative leaders were there, including Fran Vella-Maronne and Ross Brady, along with the Conservative Party Candidate for mayor, Bill Pepitone  and NYC's only GOP-Conservative Party-elected Member of Congress, Nicole Malliotakis   (who also had been the joint Republican-Conservative candidate for mayor in 2017)  ---  of course they did say a few of the good old by-jingo lines in some of the prepared remarks; however, in the informal networking and among the little group conversations, New York City's various elections were not at the top of anybody's list of favorite chat-'em-up stuff.

  1. That gathering couldn't possibly have had the Fran Vella-Marone there, who says she supports Brian Fox, and whose own fund raiser Brian Fox is shilling for on his own campaign Facebook page.

  2. Brooklyn Brew is smaller than my downstairs bathroom. With Fran Vella-Marone in there, and the massive crowd she will draw, Fox will raise $50,000 handily. Talk about star power!

  3. RESPONSE: THE "THIS COULD BE SOMETHIG --- OR IT COULD BE NOTHING" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 4:44 PM" & "... AT 5:15 PM"

I'M SURE THAT THE "FRAN VELLA-MARONNE" MENTIONED IN MY MAIN TEXT AND THE "FRAN VELLA-MARONNE" WHOSEFUND RAISER IS MENTIONED IN "... 4:44 PM" COMMENT ARE ONE AND THE SAME PERSON --- AND I DON'T SEE ANY INDICATIONS TO THE CONTRARY --- OTHER THAN MY SNARKY TAKE ON THE CONSERVATIVES' RELATIVE SILENCE ABOUT OUR 2021 LOCAL MUNICIPAL STUFF IN THE MAIN TEXT ABOVE, I DON'T EVEN SEE ANY INCONSISTANCY

AS FOR THE ALL OVER THE LOT DRIVE-BY SHOTGUN BLASTS OF SARCASM BY "... 5:15 PM" --- DO WE KNOW THAT BRIAN FOX AND/OR HIS CAMPAIGN WILL GET THE "FULL BENEFIT" FROM THE PROCEEDS OF THE JUNE 13TH FRAN VELLA-MARONNE FUNDRAISER ? DO WE KNOW WHETHER BRIAN FOX WILL EVEN GET A SHARE BASED UPON SOME PRO RATA FORMULA FROM THAT EVENT ??? ISN'T IT REALLY POSSIBLE THAT BRIAN FOX MIGHT GET NO MATERIAL BENEFIT FROM THAT EVENT IN ANY WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM ?????

I guess we'll all have to wait and see what happens over the next few weeks leading up to and then following all the hoop-de-do at Brooklyn Brew on June 13th.

  6. Come Saturday Fox takes the gloves off.

  7. Kassar in a empty catering hall. I guess you had to be there.

  8. 1023, that makes sense. I'll bet that Brian Fox was a better hockey player once the gloves were off than when he kept them on. He just has that look. When he's on ice, I'll bet he sees himself as a Ryan Reaves, Brian Boyle or Czedeno Chara.

  9. Where does anything go in 2021 with the Conservative Party running its own candidate for mayor, regardless of who wins the GOP primary. That will mean less votes down ballot not more, so forget about Brian and Mark, even though they are on both lines. Imagine how they're going to answer, who do you support for mayor?

  10. Sliwa is a total embarrassment and despite his epic meltdown at the nominating meeting, Liam McCabe got the last laugh. Ghorra should have stuck with Matteo instead, now Liam is going to replace him as Chairman.

  11. Fatty Fox won't win by listening to Liam. I hope Quaglione has a senior role in his campaign.

  12. The Fox coatails will bring in a GOP mayor

  13. Liam will be crying after the GOP Primary results on June 22..how does Liam get the last laugh when candidate candidate loses-- as usual.

  16. Ted is busy planning his imaginary fundraisers for the Brooklyn GOP. Leave him alone.

  17. Quick Question? What does Nicole do when she is off and who does she really hang with?

    Inquiring minds want to know?

Maybe the answer to that is why Nicole sucks up to fat boy Kassar

  18. The Rockland County Conservative meeting was a historic summit of the American Right held at the summer home of four time failed candidate John "Johnny Momo" Quaglione, at 625 McFall Road. The meeting was held to discuss various topics including palm cards, loansharking, narcotics trafficking, posters, and gambling, along with dividing the illegal operations controlled by the recently electorally murdered Vito Bruno. Brian Fox got scared and ran through woods but had 7 heart attacks running away because he weights 800 pounds.

  19. Liam, old man Marty, even Mickey Mouse would be a better chairman.....pls, someone replace him before the GOP dies

  20. 625 McCall road is not in Rockland county. Its in Tioga county NY. Get the details correct or you'll end up like Bob.

  21. Quaglione knows Nick Chamberas put up and is helping Bob Cassara against him. Is nick working with any Republican in NYC other than Cassara

  22. 3:02 its McFall road and the county didn't have a toga party.

  23. Ted is on his way out no matter how the district leader races go. The fact that nutty Bob is able to worry Quags shows how low the party has sunk. Ted can't raise a dime for the party and his excuses about not being able to find a place big enough for a fundraiser you could hear the laughs on the zoom call. Liam or Maressa is going to take over maybe sooner than you think.

  24. Malliotakis, at the behest of Gerry Kaysar, ordered Chamberas to put up Bob Casara against Quaglione. Kaysar is trying to rid the local party of any and all remnants of Marty Golden

  25. you need a lot of things explained

  26. The only one person involved in the Brooklyn GOP that doesnt think Ted needs to go..is Ted.

  27. Marty will take over before anybody let's Liam have the keys to the castle. Nobody and I mean Nobody takes Liam seriously.
