Trump wants an Impeachment Defense Team that will focus on the facts of an Election that was Stolen from Him and Not the Constitutional Legitimacy of the Charges Brought Against Him

 

Trump Names New Lawyers to Lead His Impeachment Defense Team  >>>  David Schoen and Bruce L. Castor, Jr.

As reported by Newsmax and Fox News, Former President Donald Trump on Sunday named new lawyers for his impeachment defense team.  It was  a move that came one day after five other attorneys left the team due to internal friction over the former president’s desire to focus on his election fraud claims rather than a strategy that centered on the unconstitutionality of attempting to convict a president beyond the time of his legitimate term.

It's now obvious that former President Donald J. Trump wants his impeachment team attorneys to argue there was mass election fraud in 2020 and it resulted in the election having been stolen from him after Election Night, rather than focus on the procedural and substantive arguments about the constitutionality of the largely Democrat Impeachment Charges brought against him by all the House Democrats joined by a few Republicans.

Lawyers David Schoen and Bruce L. Castor, Jr., will now apparently take the lead on the team of defense managers representing Citizen Trump in his Senate Trial on a single article of impeachment.

OK, sports fans, the time has come for real Republicans, Conservatives, Libertarians, Free Thinkers and Odd Fellows to come up with a new agenda of their own

It's about time for you all to listen up and get your friends and families to listen up too..… 

We need to face the facts that un-person-ing, blacklists, doxxing, cancel culture, censorship, de-platforming, targeted demonstrations, riots, fire-bombings, and the like are all okay with the most of left nowadays.  [All are acceptable tools for our "enemies" on the left to use against us, because they have decided and actually declared that the open expression of almost any and all right-of-center beliefs and opinions are to be deemed  >>>  the equivalent of shouting "FIRE !!!" in a crowded theater  ---  or committing actual acts of violence]

--- We can whine and act like crybabies about how unfair and hypocritical it all is, and then wait for some deus ex machina to save us from the cabal now running academia, the media, Big Tech and other chunks of Big Business, and the national, state and local governments in the states where most Americans live;

  
---  We can run away, huddle somewhere scared of being discovered, and attempt to hide our beliefs, so as to preserve them and then spread them in secret; or

---  Those of us with understanding and will need to resolve to stand up and defend ourselves by all the means available to us.....

That means it’s time to stop complaining and time to start doing our own thing in our own ways to push back,  with those outstanding ones among us that have special talents and other resources doing their special part(s).....

---  A lot is already there for us to turn around and use for our purposes; however
---   A lot will need to be scratch-built in order to create workarounds to the leftist cabal's control over social media, the markets and the levers of government  ---  that includes coming up with new web solutions that are more accessible and less conspiratorial than the "dark web";  and such other special weapons and tactics as might be devised, utililized and/or appropriated.....    

It might take a while to build up the full gamut of "our own thing(s)."  We might even have to do some of it underground, through something like a black market or other extra-legal avenues. Whatever it takes, or might be, would be better than remaining in any kind of passive aggressive stupor, while being practically compliant to all of the dictates of the left.

"Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio was a ‘prolific’ informer for law enforcement"

 
Records uncovered by the Reuters News Agency show that Enrique Tarrio, a leader of the far-right group Proud Boys, now under intense scrutiny by law enforcement was previously an active collaborator with criminal investigators. 

The real story here is what is between the lines and behind the scenes  ---   was this former "informer" now performing as an "agent provocateur" for a huge intra-governmental agency plot for demonstrators to storm the Capitol on January 6th ?????

All of the following information has been vetted by Reuters and most of it is a matter of public record:

According to a report by Arom Roston at Reuters,  the leader of the alt-righ Proud Boys, Enrique Tarrio, has a well-documented past as an informer for federal and local law enforcement, repeatedly working undercover for government investigators after he had been arrested in 2012. That is all according to a former prosecutor and a transcript of a 2014 federal court proceeding obtained by Reuters.  Tarrio's under cover work resulted in convictions adding up well into double digits over the years.

Washington police arrested Tarrio in early January when he arrived in the city two days before the Capitol Hill demonstrations. At that time of that arrest, he was charged with possessing two high-capacity rifle magazines, and burning a BLM banner during a  demonstration by supporters of former President Donald Trump in December, 2020. Tarrio was them released by the court and ordered to leave Washington, D.C., pending a later court appearance in June.

Although Mr. Tarrio did not take part in the demonstrations in  or around the Capitol on January 6th, at least five members of his alt-right Proud Boys have been charged in connection to the events of January 6th.  Prior to these disclosures by Reuters, the FBI had announced that Enrique Tarrio's earlier arrest in the nation's capital days before the Capitol Hill events of January 6th was part of an effort to preempt those events  (Perhaps the real reason was to protect one of their assets, keep him out of harm's way, and most important, insulate themselves from any obvious connections to the upcoming disturbances).

According to Reuters, late in 2020, as Trump supporters challenged the President's loss in specific states and overall often with demonstrations that became violent, Enrique Tarrio stood out for his swagger as he led crowds of mostly white Proud Boys in a series of confrontations and street brawls in Washington, D.C., Portland, Oregon, and elsewhere.
Enrique Tarrio is mostly based in Miami, Florida, and he became the national chairman of the Proud Boys in 2018.  In November and December,  2020,Tarrio led the Proud Boys through the streets of  Washington, D.C., after Trump's election loss. Video taken on December 11th showed Mr. Tarrio talking through a bullhorn in front of a large crowd, saying, "To the parasites both in Congress, and in that stolen White House," he said. "You want a war, you got one!" The crowd enthusiastically agreed. The next day Tarrio burned the BLM banner.

A former prosecutor said that she was surprised that the defendant, whom she prosecuted for fraud and other similar complaints had become a key player in a violent movement seeking to halt the certification of President Joe Biden. "I knew that he was a fraudster – but had no reason to know that he was also a domestic terrorist," she said.

Democrat managers from House of Representatives bring Impeachment Charges to Democrat Controlled Senate, Presided over by a Democrat

Nine Democrat members in the House of Representatives conveyed a single article of impeachment against President Trump, charging him with "incitement of insurrection" related to the  violence at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, 2021.

Specifically, last night the lead Impeachment Manager from the House of Representatives, Jamie Raskin, delivered to the U.S. Senate one single article of impeachment, stating all the present charges against citizen Donald J. Trump, the former President of these United States.  His remarks to the Senate contained the following statement of the charges: 

"....  Resolved, that Donald John Trump, President of the United States, is impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors and that the following article of impeachment be exhibited to the United States Senate:

[This is the]  Article of impeachment exhibited by the House of Representatives of the United States of America in the name of itself and of the people of the United States of America, against Donald John Trump, President of the United States of America, in maintenance and support of its impeachment against him for high crimes and misdemeanors.

ARTICLE 1: INCITEMENT OF INSURRECTION

The Constitution provides that the House of Representatives "shall have the sole Power of Impeachment" and that the President "shall be removed from Office on Impeachment, for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors." Further, section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution prohibits any person who has "engaged in insurrection or rebellion against" the United States from "hold[ing] and office ... under the United States.' In his conduct while President of the United States — and in violation of his constitutional oath faithfully to execute the office of President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, provide, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States and in violation of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed — Donald John Trump engaged in high Crimes and Misdemeanors by inciting violence against the Government of the United States, in that:

On January 6, 2021, pursuant to the 12th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, the Vice President of the United States, the House of Representatives, and the Senate met at the United States Capitol for a Joint Session of Congress to count the votes of the Electoral College. In the months preceding the Joint Session, President Trump repeatedly issued false statements asserting that the Presidential election results were the product of widespread fraud and should not be accepted by the American people or certified by State or Federal officials. Shortly before the Joint Session commenced, President Trump, addressed a crowd at the Ellipse in Washington, D.C. There, he reiterated false claims that "we won this election, and we won it by a landslide." He also willfully made statements that, in context, encouraged — and foreseeably resulted in — lawless action at the Capitol, such as: "if you don't fight like hell you're not going to have a country anymore." Thus incited by President Trump, members of the crowd he had addressed, in an attempt to, among other objectives, interfere with the Joint Session's solemn constitutional duty to certify the results of the 2020 Presidential election, unlawfully breached and vandalized the Capitol, injured and killed law enforcement personnel, menaced Members of Congress, the Vice President, and Congressional personnel, and engaged in other violent, deadly, destructive and seditious acts.

President Trump's conduct on January 6, 2021, followed his prior efforts to subvert and obstruct the certification of the results of the 2020 Presidential election. Those prior efforts included a phone call on January 2, 2021, during which President Trump urged the secretary of state of Georgia, Brad Raffensperger, to "find" enough votes to overturn the Georgia Presidential election results and threatened Secretary Raffensperger if he failed to do so.

In all this, President Trump gravely endangered the security of the United States and its institutions of Government. He threatened the integrity of the democratic system, interfered with the peaceful transition of power, and imperiled a coequal branch of Government. He thereby betrayed his trust as President, to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.

Wherefore, Donald John Trump, by such conduct, has demonstrated that he will remain a threat to national security, democracy, and the Constitution if allowed to remain in office, and has acted in a manner grossly incompatible with self-governance and the rule of law. Donald John Trump thus warrants impeachment and trial, removal from office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any office of honor, trust, or profit under the United States."

And at about 2:30 PM this afternoon,  all the U.S. Senators were sworn in as jurors on that single article of impeachment.  ---  At both the delivery of the House Impeachment .charges to the Senate,  and the swearing of all the Senators as jurors for the Impeachment Trial, Democrat Senator Patrick Leahy.  

Let's see what happens next.....

Last week, the U.S. House of Representatives in a largely party line vote impeached Trump for inciting the Capitol Hill rioting on January 6th. It's been announced that the single impeachment charge will be formally delivered to the U.S. Senate on this coming Monday;  and the new Senate [Majority] Leader Chuck Schumer has said that the Trump impeachment trial will begin in the week of February 6th.

Trump had indicated previously that he was considering another run for the White House in 2024. There also have been reports of Trump's trying to create a new party, possibly to be called the "Patriot Party."

Other polling and coverage indicates that even though Donald Trump no longer holds any governmental or political office, many Democrats believe that Trump and his followers, and even Republicans generally, still pose a danger to them.

Nobody has mentioned how Trump intends to reach out to his many loyal followers  ---  or what he might have to say to them about what he needs for them to do in the future.

To actually Impeach or really Not to Impeach ??? That is the question..... For Biden, for Pelosi, for Schumer & for McConnell --- all of them bit players and hacks wishing to be stars like Trump... and failing miserably

Today, January 20, 2021 needs to be remembered as a mere footnote in history, however that footnote should record that today is the date when the real confirmation of the events of January 6th were ratified and etched into the tablets of history with these hallmark epiphenomena: 

When ---  Faux- President-Elect- Joe Biden took the oath of office in Washington, D.C.,  making him the official Faux-President of the United States  ---  it was only by the force of arms, because he was surrounded by cordons of privately hired body guards, 25,000 National Guard troops (with regular U.S. Army support), and thousands of other federal and "local" law enforcement personnel.  Many were closely surrounding Biden and many others were patrolling the streets, with a perimeter that encompassed most of downtown Washington  >>>  almost all of that due to the real or imagined threats of new mostly peaceful protests, but with possible violent manifestations, and other unnamed security risks.  >>>  Again, almost all of it in the wake and backdrop of the momentous events of January 6th;

When  ---  Statehouses across these United States of America  will be similarly swarming with National Guardsmen and police awaiting possible demonstrations by good and patriotic Americans  who oppose Biden's faux-presidency or believe President Donald Trump's rather well-documented claims that the election had been taken from him.

When ---  Buildings in state capitals will stay, or be boarded up, fenced off or otherwise barricaded; with some states having the buildings or the areas around them closed to the public through the inauguration by force of arms in Washington, D.C.;

When  ---  Lawmakers in states, such as Michigan and Oregon have already delayed their legislative sessions, previously scheduled for this week due to threats of violence and the possibility of protests, which states already having seen tense, armed and at times threatening demonstrations at their statehouses within the last year; and 

When ---  organizers of a large national protest organization called for “targeted destruction” and “direct action” across the United States during the inauguration of the faux-president, which organizers planned to interact with "Trump supporters" in several state capitals across the country.....

Do we "vet" our National Guardsmen before we send them overseas to fight our wars ? Then why are we "vetting" them to defend us against the American people ???

At this very moment, an American Army has crossed the "Rubicon" and occupied the very capital of these United States  ---  all that is missing is a "Caesar" at the head of that Army  [and what about the rest of that Army in each and every state of this Grand Union] ?   And aren't there also a good number of uniformed "regulars"  [who are also "white men"] standing fully armed and at the ready, "standing by" at bases named after Confederate generals all across the southern parts of these United States ???

Currently, the security plan for the final accession of power by the revolutionary forces taking over the country has a major flaw  >>>  What will the military do ---  once it fully realizes that civilian rule is in the hands of usurpers and that just any old "elected government" is not the same as a constitutionally, properly elected government ?????

According to a new featured article in Monday's "Daily Caller"  >>>  the extremist Alt-right leader of  the Boogaloo Bois, Mike Dunn, said that "...  [Peace] is coming to an end very quickly..." as his group prepared for an armed confrontation with  the police in Richmond, Virginia later today  >>>  Group's leader says it's no longer going to "Stand by..."

Boogaloo Bois Leader Mike Dunn declared that the group's members will use their Second Amendment rights if law enforcement attempts to arrest them   ---   says that “...   my members, my boys understand that nobody gets arrested and that means nobody gets arrested....  If the policemen [ ] try to arrest us, we’ll defend ourselves....  We’ll use the Second Amendment the way it was intended to prevent government overreach...."

When asked what that meant by an interviewer for Daily Caller, Dunn responded:  “I’ll leave that to your imagination".....

The Boogaloo Bois are an alt-right anti-government organization, that plans to protest open carry laws enacted in Richmond, Virginia in 2020. on Monday,  January 18th.  Its leader said in an interview that the group intends to use its Second Amendment rights if law enforcement attempts to arrest any of members during the protest.

We always wanted a peaceful revolution but the time for peace is coming to an end very quickly....  We want to keep it peaceful. We want to be peaceful. But they continue to push and push and tread upon our rights and we’re not going to stand by.”

MEANWHILE,  IN WASHINGTON, D.C.  ---  THE FBI IS BELATEDLY TRYING TO VET ALL OF THE 25,000 NATIONAL GUARDSMEN BROUGHT INTO THAT CITY TO HELP PROTECT THOSE PARTICIPATING IN THE INAUGURATION OF JOE BIDEN   ---   FEARING THAT THERE MIGHT BE SEVERAL INSURGENTS AND/OR SYMPATHISERS  IN THEIR HEAVILY ARMED RANKS

Just how bad is it ? Many would say that it's "...the worst of times"..... Is there anybody around who might argue that it's the polar opposite of that --- that it's "... the best of times..." ???

Whether you look at the nation's capital or 86th Street in Bay Ridge, things are bad, very bad.  ---  And even if you are minimally informed, you probably have concluded that things are likely to get much worse before they get even a little bit better  ---  and many would be justified in arguing that, taken as a whole, these are the worst of times

The same appears to be true when it comes the handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, and so many other specific things in our contemporary world

Charles Dickens' "A Tale of Two Cities" opened with "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times...." and several other paired superlative contrapuntal assertions  ---  Dickens scholars and commentators have said that all those assertions were intended to refer to the times of BOTH the authorship of the work, in 31 installments in 1859, as well as in the historical period during which the action of the novel takes place, from some time before the French Revolution until the early-to-mid-1790s

If we use the descriptions presented by Mr. Dickens in the work itself,  our times are only half what the Dickensian times relevant to "The Tale of Two Cities" seem to have been  ---  these Twenty-first Century times might well be the worst;  but they are certainly not the best

OK, Sportsfans, let's have a show of hands --- how many of you supporters of the security state really believe that the inauguration on the Capitol steps can be made "completely safe" ?

Would you believe  >>>  "relatively safe" ???

Well, what about maybe  >>>  "kind o' safe" ?????  

OK, then, what if I told you that one 81 mm. mortar could effectively deliver about fifteen to twenty rounds with a ten pound high explosive fragmentation payload on a target three miles away in about a minute.....  And what if I told you that mortars like that have been and still are often used by terrorists all around the world ???...???

Because of their high trajectory ballistics,  mortars make an ideal weapon for indirect fire missions (not having eyes on the target) either using a forward observer/director or by simple ballistic calculation;  also  their firing positions can be easily concealed behind four walls or other barriers, as long as there is a sufficiently large opening skyward when the rounds are being launched.

The FBI has issued a high level warning about Washington and the Inauguration, but they haven't made clear the specific nature of the threat  ---  so far they have hinted at some of the WHOs that might be involved,  but I haven't seen any of the WHATs that those WHOs might be going to try.

If I had to bet on things, I'd say the odds favor "relatively safe"  ---  unless the real intelligence by the security team has some more specific information as to what the WHOs might have in mind.....

Nonetheless, even the vote of a few Republicans will allow the Jacobin Democrats and their allies in the mainstream media to characterize this sham vote for a second impeachment in just over a year as "bi-partisan"

FBI issues warning of possible armed Insurrection both in Washington D.C. and in localities throughout all 50 United States --- leading up to and including "Inauguration Day"

Both ABC News and Newsmax have reported that the FBI has received information in recent days related to a group that has called for the storming of state, local and federal courts and other public buildings in the event that President Donald Trump is removed from office before the scheduled inauguration of Joe Biden January 20th. 

The Bureau also warned that very same group has plans to storm government offices regardless of whether Trump is removed on the day of the inauguration. Apparently, no distinction is being made as to whether any state certified their electoral votes for Biden or Trump.

In addition, the FBI issued this specific warning about Washington D.C.  ---   "The FBI received information about an identified armed group intending to travel to Washington, DC on 16 January," the bulletin read. "They have warned that if Congress attempts to remove POTUS via the 25th Amendment, a huge uprising will occur...."

The report initially from ABC News and repeated in detail by Newsmax indicated that federal law enforcement officials have advised police agencies around the country to increase their security posture at statehouses throughout the United States following the riot at the U.S. Capitol.

The FBI issued its  bulletin on Monday warning there could be armed protests at capitols in all 50 states in the days leading up to Inauguration Day.

The FBI bulletin also went on to say that "The FBI received information about an identified armed group intending to travel to Washington, DC on 16 January," the bulletin read. "They have warned that if Congress attempts to remove POTUS via the 25th Amendment, a huge uprising will occur."

In his most recent "press release"  ---  Bob Capano is now referring to himself as "...  an adjunct political science instructor for over 15 years with the City University of New York..."   By comparison in a 2018 "press release,"  Bob Capano referred o himself like this:  "...  Capano,[ ] has been an adjunct Professor of Political Science for over 15 years at John Jay College of Criminal Justice and is the Chairman of the Brooklyn Reform Party..."

Well, Bob Capano has either been demoted by the folks at CUNY-John Jay College of Criminal Justice,  or Bob is tacitly admitting that he had been lying about his academic credentials for a very long time.

The President of the United States speaks out on social media after he had been "banned" by the internet's so-called "social media giants"

After clearly stating that  >>>  Twitter Permanently Bans President Donald Trump <<<    late yesterday,  Breitbart News also prominently announced that :   "Donald Trump Dodges Permanent Twitter Ban by Using Government Account: ‘We Will Not Be SILENCED!’ "

On January 8, 2021, a Breitbart report by Charlie Spiering indicated that,  President Donald Trump used the White House @POTUS account to send an important message to the American people, and particularly to his followers and supporters

The Breitbart-Spiering report also specifically noted that:   "Trump’s message was soon censored and removed by Twitter, but the @POTUS account remains live...." 

President Trump used the "POTUS"  account on Twitter at  >>>  President Trump @POTUS <<<  to communicate the following to all of us:

 "As I have been saying for a long time, Twitter has gone further and further in banning free speech, and tonight, Twitter employees have coordinated with the Democrats and the Radical Left in removing my account from their platform, to silence me — and YOU, the 75,000,000 great patriots who voted for me....;"

Here's a very simple question: why did a "Police Force" of 2,200 cops and an almost unlimited budget, and offers of significantly more manpower from other federal agencies, including an offer of National Guardsmen by the Pentagon, NOT SECURE THE CAPITOL from a large crowd of "MOSTLY PEACEFUL PROTESTERS"; and why wasn't order more quickly restored, even after resorting to deadly physical force against the "MOSTLY PEACEFUL PROTESTERS" ???

INTENET CHATTER before the events of January 6, 2021 indicated that at least some people were PLANING TO STORM the Capitol during the time of the Joint Session to certify Joe Biden as President Elect

A relatively reliable timeline indicates that a variety of actors were active near, around and possibly inside the Capitol Hill Congressional complex while President Trump was speaking to his supporters near the White House  ---   and that an actual breach of Capitol security had occurred prior to the start of the Joint Session of Congress

The initial penetration into the Capitol Building required that the "MOSTLY PEACEFUL PROTESTERS" overcome line  ---  after line  ---   after line of Capitol Hill Police officers, many largely fitted out in SWAT gear

The "MOSTLY PEACEFUL PROTESTERS" succeeded in reaching secure areas throughout the length, width and depth of the Capitol Building, including some of the tunnels below and up to the roof above 

 ---  Thus far reported, and confirmed by video, the "MOSTLY PEACEFUL PROTESTERS" actually conducted their own tours unescorted throughout many areas of the Capitol Building and they conducted videoed interviews from inside the Capitol  ---   AND FOR A TIME  ---  the  "MOSTLY PEACEFUL PROTESTERS" controlled most of the access areas to both the House and Senate Chambers inside the Capitol Building;  several even entered and controlled the Senate Chamber and gallery; they entered and controlled the Offices of the Speaker of the House;  and they flamboyantly carried off the podium of the Speaker of the House.....

Another simple, but very important, question is how was all of this done without "significant inside help" of somebody inside the Capitol security apparatus and/or very familiar with the avenues into and workings of the Capitol Building ?????

The post event reports indicated that most of the "MOSTLY PEACEFUL PROTESTERS" that were inside the Capitol were let go without charges and without their names' being taken  ---  and the FBI has already complained that their investigations have been hampered by the initial actions of the Capitol Hill Police. 

Didn't we tell you that --- January 6th would be a bigger deal than January 5th !!!!!

Elise Stefanik, of upstate New York, plans to raise an objection when Congress meets on Wednesday for the Electoral College certification process, which is necessary to finalize Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 election. According to a report in Newsmax and the New York Post, Representative Stefanik said, "I plan to object to certain contested electors on January 6 ....  I do not take this action lightly. I am acting to protect our Democratic process....  Article II and the Twelfth Amendment of the Constitution make clear that I have an obligation to act on this matter if I believe there are serious questions with respect to the Presidential election. I believe those questions exist....Tens of millions of Americans are rightly concerned that the 2020 election featured unprecedented voting irregularities, unconstitutional overreach by unelected state officials and judges ignoring state election laws, and a fundamental lack of ballot integrity and security.”

Lately, novice Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis has been in virtual lockstep with her sister New York State Congresswoman, Elise Stefanik.
