Brian Selter has made himself the defender of "all of us" >>> "victims" of Tucker Carlson's "toxicity" every night
Selter's attack on Tucker Carlson >>> but mostly what Carlson says <<< shows that the increasingly radicalized Democrats --- and their strongest supporters in the media --- don't want any push-back
Selter doesn't want any >>> "NASTY DEBATE ABOUT HATING AMERICA" <<< led by Tucker Carlson or any other cable news host
Meanwhile, let's take a closer look at a hateful pit bull of the mainstream Democrat Party >>> TAMMY DUCKWORTH <<< now a U.S. Senator, and presently short-listed for VP on a Biden ticket --- why wouldn't any right thinking American think that she might very well be a HARDCORE HATER OF AMERICA based on some of what she has said and done
Selter, the host of CNN's “Reliable Sources” directly attacked Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson on Wednesday evening, during an appearance on another CNN show“CNN Tonight.” The thrust of Selter's barbs at Tucker Carlson were focused on Tucker's having criticized Illinois Democrat Senator Tammy Duckworth, who had stated she was open to considering the tearing down of statues of George Washington under certain conditions.
Stelter said that, when Carlson calls out Tammy Duckworth and other Democrats for being destroyers of history and haters of America, he makes all of us victims. And this is exactly how he said it --- "“Millions of people watch this, every night, watch this toxicity. He and Trump are aligned. They are stoking this divide. You know, what Tucker does, Don [CNN's Don Lemon], is he says he’s the victim. He’s the victim of people who are trying to stomp out his free speech. But the real victims are all of us. Whenever you get into this nasty debate about hating America, it should be beneath any cable news host.”
AND AS FOR DUCKWORTH
Both in the Obama Administration and during her time in the U..S. Senate, Tammy Duckworth has used her status as a disabled combat veteran to shield herself from repeated instances of critical scrutiny for her lack of concern over the plight of other veterans, opposition to a variety of pro-military initiatives and appropriations and an overly apologetic approach to U.S. foreign policy.....
It's hardly proof that TAMMY DUCKWORTH actually might HATE AMERICA, as Tucker Carlson suggests, because she is willing to consider the removal of monuments to Geiorge Washington. However, the issues it raises are certainly worthy of deeper scrutiny and a healthy debate as to whether it isn't possible that Senator and wounded warrior Tammy Duckworth might really and truly hate America.....
I heard Bob was shaving his head to look like Stelter.
ReplyDeleteIf not for Tammy Duckworth we would all be singing the Iraqi national anthem.

ReplyDeleteUPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "NY TIMES PILES-ON TO TUCKER CARLSON FOR HIS 'NATIVISM' " EDITION
ReplyDeleteOH NO !!! ACCORDING TO THE NY TIMES, A WHITE AMERICAN MALE NAMED TUCKER CARLSON DID A VERY BAD THING BY DISAGREEING WITH TWO WOMEN OF COLOR AND SAYING THAT THEY NEEDED TO BE CONFRONTED FOR "HATING AMERICA"
Here's what appeared in the Times: "Senator Tammy Duckworth of Illinois, a Thai-American Democrat who lost both of her legs fighting in the Iraq war and is now a potential vice-presidential nominee, was targeted with nativist smears for the second night in a row on Tuesday by Fox News’s Tucker Carlson.... Mr. Carlson, whose broadsides have been amplified on Twitter by President Trump, attacked Ms. Duckworth in his monologue for suggesting during a Sunday interview on CNN’s 'State of the Union' that it was worth discussing the value of removing monuments of George Washington, the nation’s slave-owning first president.... On Tuesday night Mr. Carlson labeled both Ms. Duckworth, who was born in Thailand to a Thai mother of Chinese descent and a white American veteran father, and the Somali-born Representative Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, 'vandals' who hate the United States because they have called attention to its historical racism and inequities.... “There are many of us here who do like this country,” Mr. Carlson said, as a graphic on the screen read, “We have to fight to preserve our nation & heritage.'...” (See "Tammy Duckworth Confronts Nativist Smears From Tucker Carlson" by Reid J. Epstein, 7/8/20, NY Times/ Politics [https://www.nytimes.com/2020/07/08/us/politics/tucker-carlson-tammy-duckworth.html]).
The problem is that even though the Times' writer described Tucker Carlson’s defense of America as a “nativist" attack on two Democratic women of color, also claiming that the nativist attacks of that sort were hardly new for either Carlson or President Trump. However, in spite of the Times reporter, Reid Epstein's assertion, Tucker Carlson made no such "nativist" attack in his monologue. Instead Carlson was responding to and highlighting the stream of anti-America remarks routinely offered by ultra-progressive Democrats --- just this week, Ilhan Omar called for “dismantling” or the systems of oppression, which includes America’s “economy and political systems.”
