Boy, former Congressman and recently declared congressional candidate MICHAEL GRIMM seems to have a lot of EXTRA MONEY >>> apparently just lying around
NY Law Journal article suggests some of the $$$$$ Grimm has put out there since his conviction and sentencing looks like it might not be properly accounted for
For now: “GRIMM’S MONEY STUFF IS LOOKING STRANGE”
AND I HAVE TO ASK --- ISN'T IT LIKELY THAT THESE HITS WILL JUST KEEP ON COMING ?????
An article appearing in the print
edition of today’s New York Law Journal opens with this, “Michael
Grimm, who once threatened to throw a reporter off a Capitol Hill balcony,
somehow managed to shed a six-figure debt to Squire Patton Boggs….” (See “This Ex-Congressman Wiped Out Six-Figure Big Law Debt” by
Miriam Rozen, 10/16/17, New York Law Journal/ On-line [http://www.newyorklawjournal.com/id=1202800552759/This-ExCongressman-Wiped-Out-SixFigure-Big-Law-Debt?mcode=1202617075062&curindex=1&slreturn=20170917105513]). So
it does have the look and sound of a hit piece.
Nonetheless, this NYLJ
piece does shine the light on some things that Mike Grimm needs to address
right up front in any attempt to get back into the political arena. Let’s start with these big questions: a) How is it that Grimm's $421,000 legal bill has
been erased, but supposedly Grimm has
raised less than $5,000 --- which would require a formal filling; also where did the money paid into the court
as as Grimm’s mandatory “Restitution” come from ?????
As the wag
that brought this article to my attention put it, “Grimm’s money stuff is looking strange…..”
An interesting question.
ReplyDeleteFollow the money trail; and if there ain't no trail where there should be, ask the question, "WHY?"
ReplyDeleteHe's a bachelor. He's hopping around.
ReplyDeleteWrong, mate. Grimm is a tosser and a wanker. When he ain't wankin', he's tossin'; and when he ain't tossin', he's wankin'.
ReplyDeleteSquire Patton & Boggs are the go to DC law firm for Trump and Bannon. There are big guns behind Grimm.
ReplyDeleteDan has Jessica Proud.
Donovan has a Proud team, unlike Grimm who seems to have a pro team.
ReplyDeleteThe issue in this race may be which team does Donovan play for.
ReplyDeleteRESPONSE: THE "BUILDING YOUR WORD POWER" EDITION
ReplyDeleteTO ALL OF THE GRIMM-STERS AND DANDY-DON-ERS ABOVE
The point for today is, not which Proud team Dandy Don actually plays for; or whether the right-wing pros are all lining up for Grimm yet. For now, what everybody needs to get is that the Dan Donovan supporters are fundamentally quotidian, whereas those inclined to the Phoenix-like "Mikey Suits" Grimm are essentially throwing in with the protean pros, since Grimm himself has always maintained a high in protean regimen to stay buff.
Will 2018 be the year that Dan comes out?
ReplyDeleteoh boy
ReplyDelete4 marines were ambushed in niger and we talk of this

ReplyDeleteTO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 7:43 PM"
NOT MARINES --- GREEN BERETS.....
This story is almost two weeks old, so what was written in the comment above is just slipshod in the extreme.
It was a typical Green Beret op being done by U.S. Army Special Forces, just how JFK would have liked it to be done (quietly -- in a less-than-full-scale-war hot spot, in Central Africa). Then it all went sideways..... Upwards of a dozen U.S. soldiers were ambushed probably by 40 or 50 Boko Haram rebels; about half of the small U.S. contingent were casualties; an four of those wound up zip-locked in vinyl bags, working their way back to Dover, and the hangar moment of flag-draped metallic coffins.
The debrief and critique will look bad, probably even really bad --- it usually does when things go sideways and you're outnumbered 4- or 5-to-1 in a less-than-full-scale-war hot spot.
