In a stunning act of non-professionlism, NBC's Brian Williams stated to the nation that the Ferguson Grand Jury ‘Failed To Come Up With Charges’ Against Darren Wilson

NBC Nightly News host Brian Williams opened his special prime-time interruption of normal broadcasting by declaring "The grand jury in Ferguson, Missouri has failed to come up with an indictment for the police officer in the shooting of the unarmed black teenager Michael Brown."

Williams couldn't have done more damage  if handed a full gasoline can to one of the black rioters in Ferguson, Missouri

"...   Unlike ABC and CBS, NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams failed to mention any of the actual facts of the case or legal rationale for the grand jury’s decision when he expressed his dissatisfaction with the case’s outcome.  ***  During NBC’s coverage, Brian Williams ignored all of the actual details of the case and even suggested that despite the violence in Ferguson “the bottom line is, this grand jury sitting 25 days, failed to come up with charges after 70 hours and 60 witnesses in all....”  (See "Brian Williams Laments Ferguson Grand Jury ‘Failed To Come Up With Charges’ Against Darren Wilson" by Jeffrey Meyer, 11/25/14,  MRC- Newsbusters [http://newsbusters.org/blogs/jeffrey-meyer/2014/11/25/brian-williams-laments-ferguson-grand-jury-failed-come-charges]; see also CNS.com  [http://www.cnsnews.com/video/newsbusters/brian-williams-laments-ferguson-grand-jury-failed-come-charges]).

All three major networks cut into regular programming  to announce the result of the Ferguson Grand Jury's deliberations, however neither CBS nor ABC were as slanted in their presentation as NBC and Williams.

The completely non-professional, non-objective and incendiary remarks by Williams  couldn't have been more intentionally destructive of good law and order than if he handed out molotov cocktails to the rioters in Ferguson, Missouri.

  2. I think people understand that a grand jury is the prosecutors excuse for why something isnt happening.

  4. RESPONSE: THE "GRAND JURY GOT IT COMPLETELY RIGHT" EDITION

    The Ferguson Grand Jury "failed" at nothing that it was charged to do. In fact, it did its job in spite of overwhelming pressure to do the wrong thing and go after a good cop, who just did his job.

    This was "a righteous kill" of a life threatening pituitary case of a bad actor, who had menaced at least one other human being before he made the mistake of threatening the wrong guy.

  5. a 16 year old kid is life threatening against a grown man with a gun?

    I think Fred Hampton had it right.

  6. RESPONSE: THE "BY THE NUMBERS" EDITION

    One: Michael Brown was a massive, meaty, monster individual suspected of being a criminal perpetrator;

    Two: Officer Darren Wilson was robed with the authority of the State Missouri and the City of Ferguson's to prevent crimes and apprehend criminals;

    Three: Michael Brown did not submit to the lawful use of force against him by the police, but instead launched his own deadly attack;

    Officer Darren Wilson used appropriate deadly force against the massive meaty monster CRIMINAL, Michael Brown, killing him at the scene of his crime of attacking a police officer in the performance of his duty.

    Was Fred Hampton another 16 year old kid threatening grown men with a gun?

    He got the OBL treatment, because he threatened cops.

    Michael Brown was as much a 16 year old as Fred Hampton and not nearly as innocent.

  8. No need to dwell on whether the people named above were innocent. They were executed by cops. That sorta ends it.

  9. It's funny how blacks and people that wish they were black use the terms executed when it's done by a cop or assassinated when it's done by a gang banger.

    What they really mean in both cases is some black guy got shot for messing around with something that he shouldn't have been doing.

  10. Cop murders kid, no arrests.

    A building burns during protests, 84 arrests.

  11. RESPONSE: THE "NO MURDER OR ANY OTHER CRIME" EDITION

    YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY GROSSLY AND INTENTIONALLY MISUSING THE WORD "MURDER" WHEN YOU APPLY IT TO THE LINE OF DUTY KILLING OF THE THUG, MICHAEL BROWN

    In everything that's been discussed on this blog, no "kid" was murdered by any cop. Certainly not in the instance of the "righteous kill" of the criminal thug, Michael Brown by Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson.

  12. when you shoot eight bullets into somebody it might be considered murder.

    Anyway, this turned out to be some libertarian blog. Cops making 120k a year shoot unarmed kids and then the city pays the family another 3 million.

    All sounds very christian and conservative.
