Intended to be a Brooklyn Republican Party function that was a celebration, and a fund-raiser, and a gathering of toys --- it was a classic fail at all three --- possibly due to Lurch's choice of a warn-out venue like Marty Golden's Bay Ridge Manor in an area of Brooklyn like Bay Ridge where the GOP's welcome has been warn out for quite some time now
The word is that there were fewer than three dozen fully paying revelers in attendance --- and that Lurch had to beg everybody that he knew to come and pay nothing except a small toy for a night of Marty Golden's standard Bay Ridge Manor fare. --- And still, the crowd that did show up eventually was sparse looking --- along with their pile of toys
Even the tricked-out photos of Lurch's holiday event posted on social media couldn't make it look like the BR Manor was anywhere near crowded --- and obviously, it was anything but >>> a full house.
In an odd twist, very few of the routine suspects were there to be found in the house (and we are saying that lots of the "routine suspects" were just NOT THERE) --- or they were wearing their invisibility cloaks.
Is anybody surprised?
ReplyDeleteBarsamian has never been anything more than a broken valise. He proved it the other night at the party when he talked about Ari Kagan as if he had been the winner over Brannan intead of a 4000 vote loser on the Brooklyn GOP line.
Even some folks there from the inner circle backing Barsamian were asking, "What is he talking about this stuff for?"
inner circle? does that mean an outer circle exists?
ReplyDelete947, absolutely! "Lurch" has made it clear to several people that, in spite of their "titles" and/or offices in the Statewide GOP organization, only "Lurch" himself has authority to act in-and-for the Brooklyn GOP. All those GOP worker bees are clearly part Barsamian's "Outer circle" that he lectures and harangues; whereas people like Kassar and Golden have supervening power over Barsamian in almost all matters, with Cha-Cha-Cha-Chia-Pet Fran no lower that first-among-equals with the nominal and probably very temporary Chairman Barsamian.

ReplyDeleteWhat happened to Eaton’s guy Dmitry?
He still has a shot in court.
ReplyDeleteLet's see what the 2024 lines will be for congress and the NYS legislative offices.
ReplyDeleteIt may soon be all over for the Brooklyn GOP very soon, with no real plan "B" in place; and proving once again that retired cops like Golden and Barsamian are even more useless bits of living matter than they were for their few years "on the job".

ReplyDeleteIt may be all over for the Brooklyn GOP very soon, with no real plan "B" in place if Nicole becomes a cooked goose in 2024. That should prove once again that retired cops like Golden and Barsamian are even more useless bits of living matter as Conservative Party gunzels in the GOP than they were for their few years "on the job" cooping and doing donut runs.
Some say that the Republicans will fiht to save Stefanic and Nicole, because they think that they need women, but for everybody that they save, others will be weakened and the NYS Republican insiders will mostly blame Nicole and Kassar for any losses among the others.
