Do you know what this is called ???
It's called "Evidence" --- a word that should scare Nicole down to her ditties'n'galls.....
Why else would Nicole address an e-mail to herself about an article that her own people got placed in the NY Post ?????
Everybody knows that even a popular Brooklyn Democrat like Justin Brannan would be facing a very difficult uphill battle going against an incumbent Republican in Congress like Malliotakis, a Staten Islander whose district is mostly in Staten Island.
Just ask the likes of Sal Albanese and Vincent Gentile --- two popularly re-elected Democrat Councilmembers from many of the same areas in Brooklyn now represented by Justin Brannan.
Brannan seems to be very aware of all that; and he has said to the NY Post that he is not a candidate for the Congessional seat now held by Malliotakis --- even though he also hammered Nicole as a do-nothing member of congress, who could "... do [no] more than go on TV and wage culture wars...”.
In any case, Nicole has several things that she needs to worry about much more than any possible run by Justin Brannan. The first is what investigators might turn up in the sudden and unexplained death of one of Malliotakis' key Republican allies and supporters in Brooklyn, Brian Fox. Another of Malliotakis' key Brooklyn allies and supporters, Liam McCabe seems to be involved in the tangled-up last hours Mr. Fox; and possibly even the rapid decline of the man in the days and/or weeks leading up to his death. Many of the Brooklyn GOP types not as close to Fox as McCabe was were quick to mention drugs and very irregular income and financial dealings as likely contributing factors in Fox's death on the day after the 2023 election. The police have not yet mentioned any cause of death, and there has been little word about the tox screen and autopsy for the 34 year old who just up and died about three weeks ago.
No doubt, Nicole thought that she was buying her peace vis a vis Brian Fox when she wrote, “... Like so many others, I was both saddened and shocked to learn of the untimely passing of Brian Fox.... Brian was a great supporter of our NYPD and passionate about improving the quality of life for the families in southern Brooklyn. His advocacy and presence will be missed....” Nicole had to know virtually none of that was true. Worse than that, she had to know that her testimonial would be used by those trying to spike the Brian Fox story and head off any meaningful investigation of his death.
Nicole and Fox were together a lot between late 2020 and November of 2023 --- here are just a few shots of them together.....
Even if she can keep her part in the Brian Fox scandals buried, her second big problem will be in the person of Republican John Matland; and/or other Republicans ready to support him in both Staten Island and Brooklyn, or somebody taking the baton of his 2022 MAGA Republican opposition to Nicole directly from him and ready for another Brooklyn-Staten Island GOP primary race in 2024.
"The first is what investigators might turn up in the sudden and unexplained death ..."
ReplyDeleteOK, so what "investigators" and what might turn up?
RESPONSE: THE " SOMEBODY HAS GOT TO BE KIDDING, RIGHT !!!" EDITION
ReplyDeleteTO "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 11:09 PM"
INDEED >>> WHAT INVESTIGATIONS ??? AND SOMETHING THAT WE HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR ALMOST TWO WEEKS NOW >>> WHAT MIGHT A REAL FORENSIC INQUIRY TURN UP ABOUT BRIAN FOX AND HIS CLOSEST ASSOCIATES CONCERNING THE CIRCUMSTANCES LEADING TO FOX'S "SUDDEN AND UNEXPLAINED DEATH"
"Investigators"? Well, how about forensic investigators from the NYC ME's office and NYPD detectives that should have been involved as a matter of course. It would seem like a suspicious death such as Brian Fox's should be looked into, and people like Liam McCabe and a few others in Fox's inner circle should be or have been questioned.
Certainly, both local and city-wide investigative journalists should be trying or have been trying to unravel both what happened Brian Fox, and why it was buried so quickly with so little reporting. That is especially so, when real friends and family should have had an interest in determining what happened to all of the money, receivables, and other valuable assets that Fox said he had from all his business interests. probably including some of his dealings with McCabe.
Also, political gadflies like Gail and the other contributors to this blog want everybody to know if there were some real skullduggery involving all the YKWs in the Brooklyn GOP andoffice holders who would be very embarrassed if a big deal were to be made about how Brian Fox lived and died, all while being such an influential part of the Brooklyn GOP operation, and several recent campaigns during 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.
"[A]nd what might turn up?" Well, isn't that the most relevant question of all? So, why not start by asking Liam McCabe and others, who had been associated with Brian Fox what a real investigation of his death and overall circumstances would be likely to turn up?
"forensic investigators from the NYC ME's office and NYPD detectives that should have been involved"
ReplyDelete"journalists should be trying"
"why not start by asking Liam McCabe and others"
So who's gonna do this?
RESPONSE: THE "WHO EXACTLY ARE YOU TO ASK SUCH THINGS LIKE YOU THINK THAT THEY AREN'T HAPPENING ???" EDITION
ReplyDeleteTO: "ANONYMOUS SAYS... AT 8:58 PM"
YOU SEEM TO BE QUITE CERTAIN THAT NO OFFICIAL (POLICE, ME AND/OR DA) OR JOURNALISTIC INVESTIGATION(S) OF BRIAN FOX'S SUDDEN AND UNEXPLAINED DEATH ON THE EVENING OF NOVEMBER 8TH ARE GOING TO HAPPEN ANYTIME SOON
THAT PROMPTS THE QUERY >>> HOW CAN YOU BE SO SURE ?????
You started by answering your own question ".... So who's gonna do this?" before asking it, when you said this >>> "... forensic investigators from the NYC ME's office and NYPD detectives that should have been involved [and] journalists should be trying...."
Gale, "should" is not "gonna."
ReplyDelete340, if they "should", then why aren't they "gonna" ?
ReplyDeleteWhat's going on with the Brian Fox investigations and/or non-investigations connected to the cause and circumstances of his death ???
And what about his estate; it should have been worth millions of dollars, and the receivables from the political part alone, that would have been more than enough motive for murder.
The fate of his estate is up to his next of kin.
ReplyDelete519, I fail to see how/why his personal accounts would be worth "millions of dollars."
ReplyDelete721 & 755, the fate of Brian Fox's estate is with whomever petitions claiming to have any colorable or cognizable interest in his estate, which should be quite a few people, and public and private entities. Fox's gross estate is very likely sizable, because Brian claimed to have annual income in excess of a quarter million dollars per year, as well as significant equity interests in what Fox described as several thriving businesses. In addition to all that, Fox's estate probably has a variety of equitable claims for the value of goods and services that he provided to various people and companies during political campaigns over the last several years; however, there will probably need to be an accounting to determine the exact value of those equitable claims for his provision of goods and services.
ReplyDelete404: "is with whomever petitions claiming to have any colorable or cognizable interest in his estate"
ReplyDeleteCut the fakelawyer "colorizable-colorable" bafflegab.
If he had a will his assets go to those designated in the will.
If he died intestate (w/o a will) his assets go to next of kin, as delineated in NYS law.
In either instance, his estate (if it exists), debts, distributions, et al, will/would be sorted out by an executor or (re smaller estates)
vol administrator.
Stop making up guano.
Addendum to 4:04 -- you clearly are "noways" an attorney.
ReplyDelete702 & 706, you are so wrong on each of your comments that correcting you would not be worth the effort. However, here is a little jibe instead.
ReplyDeleteIf your comments were answers on a NYS bar exam, your simplistic and conclusory answers might get a point or two for your two answers combined, but only if you hired a top consultant to appeal the grading of what certainly would be an abyssmal bar exam failure if your other answers were equally bad (And don't overlook the fact that given your two comments above, we are talking about two answers; so that would mean that you would get only a point or two out of a possible "20"
RESPONSE: THE "KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE BALL" EDITION
ReplyDeleteTO: WHOM IT MIGHT CONCERN --- IE., THOSE COMMENTERS IMMEDIATELY ABOVE, AS WELL AS OTHERS UNNAMED --- ONE WAY OR ANOTHER --- WE'RE GONNA GETCHA, GETCHA, GETCHA.....
THE CREATION OF AN ESTATE FOR BRIAN FOX WILL PROVIDE ONE OF THE LEVERS WITH THE LEVERAGE TO PRY OPEN THE CAN OF WORMS THAT HE >>> AND HIS CLOSE BUSINESS, POLITICAL, AND PERSONAL ASSOCIATES LEFT BEHIND AFTER HIS SUDDEN AND UNEXPLAINED DEATH
QUITE APART FROM OTHER QUESTIONS CONCERNING "PROBATE" OR "ADMINISTRATION" THAT MIGHT ARISE --- ANY "EXECUTOR" OR "ADMINISTRATOR" THAT MIGHT BE NAMED FOR A BRIAN FOX ESTATE WILL BE THE OFFICIAL HOLDER OF THE BRIAN FOX CAN OF WORMS --- WHILE OTHERS CAN WORK ON TRYING TO PRY IT OPEN, THE "EXECUTOR" OR "ADMINISTRATOR" WILL BE DUTY-BOUND TO HOLD ONTO IT FOR THEM
The comment by "Anonymous said... at 4:04 AM" that "... the fate of Brian Fox's estate is with whomever petitions claiming to have any colorable or cognizable interest in his estate, which should be quite a few people, and public and private entities...." would seem to be very on point and formally accurate. What 'fate" that might turn out to be remains both problematic and speculative.
1058: You definitely are not an attorney.
ReplyDeleteGale, this entire debate + Faux Attorney's claim that Fox was worth "millions" is "both problematic and speculative."
ReplyDeleteLet's stop.

WITH WHAT HAPPENED TO FOX IN HIS FINAL DAYS --- IF WE WERE LIKE SEVERAL OF SHAKESPEARE'S MOST MEMORABLE AND POWERFUL CHARACTERS --- WE WOULD NEVER STOP --- EVEN IF IT WERE TO LEAD TO A TRAGIC END.....
BUT HERE IS SOMETHING THAT IS MORE CULTURALLY UP TO DATE >>> BEFORE "MAVERICK" SCREWED-UP AND "GOOSE" DIED AS A RESULT --- THOSE TWO MEN HAD SUNG A DUET EARLIER THAT CONTAINED THESE LINES THAT VERY MUCH ARE RELEVANT TO FOX AND WHAT WAS HAPPENING WITH HIM AND HIS MAIN MAN DURING THOSE WANING DAYS IN EARLY NOVEMBER:
"You lost that lovin' feelin'
Whoa, that lovin' feelin'
You lost that lovin' feelin'
Now it's gone, gone, gone, whoa-oh
Now there's no welcome look in your eyes when I reach for you
And now you're starting to criticize little things I do
It makes me just feel like crying
'Cause baby, something beautiful's dyin'
You lost that lovin' feelin'
Whoa, that lovin' feelin'
You lost that lovin' feelin'
Now it's gone, gone, gone, whoa-oh
Baby, baby, I'd get down on my knees for you
If you would only love me like you used to do, yeah
We had a love, a love, a love you don't find everyday
So don't, don't, don't, don't let it slip away
Baby, baby, baby, baby
I beg you please, please, please, please
I need your love, need your love
I need your love, I need your love
So bring it on back, so bring it on back
Bring it on back, bring it on back
Bring back that lovin' feelin'
Whoa, that lovin' feelin'
Bring back that lovin' feelin'
'Cause it's gone, gone, gone
And I can't go on, whoa-oh

WUCKSTREE ! --- WUCKSTREE !!! --- WUCKSTREE !!!!! ::: THE "BROOKLYN GOP MURDER SPREE" EDITION
ReplyDeleteSINCE "LURCH" BARSAMIAN WAS ELECTED (SORT OF... MAYBE... WHATEVER...) AT A BROOKLYN GOP CONVENTION A FEW MONTHS BACK >>> THE BODIES HAVE BEEN PILING UP FASTER THAN IN THE "TEDDY ROOSEVELT" CELLAR OF ABBY AND MARTHA BREWSTER, THE NICE OLD LADIES IN "ARSENIC AND OLD LACE".....
Probably to be expected, this time it also involves another guy with a connection to the Brooklyn GOP team that was behind the recently disasterous KGB-Commie Ari Kagan campaign for City Council.
But it gets better than that --- or worse, depending on your POV --- like the recently demised Brian Fox, this guy was vetted by Ted Ghorra to run for office as a Brooklyn GOP candidate in 2022 for some office in the 46th AD.
Unlike Brian Fox, this one will at least be around to explain it all, because >>> he's the alleged killer and NOT THE VICTIM.....
More details when we get them.
UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "BROOKLYN GOP HAS TAKEN A BIZARRE TURN INTO THE MACABRE WORLD OF "LURCH" BARSAMIAN AND LIAM MC CABE WHERE THERE IS MORE MONEY AND THERE ARE MORE DEAD BODIES THAN ANYBODY EVER EXPECTED IN THE BROOKLYN GOP FOR 2023" EDITION
ReplyDeleteACCORDING TO THE NYC DAILY TABLOIDS THE FIRST BROOKLYN GOP KILLER TO BE OUTED FOR HIS HOMICIDAL DEEDS IN 2023 IS ONE >>> VLADISLAV DESHKOVICH --- WHO HAS BEEN DESCRIBED AS HAVING TOUTED HIMSELF AS A PROSPECTIVE STATE SENATE CANDIDATE --- WHO HAD "VOLUNTEERED" FOR THE 2023 CITY COUNCIL CAMPAIGN OF ARI KAGAN
THIS INDEPENDENT GOP BLOG FOR BROOKLYN AND STATEN ISLAND HAS BEEN INFORMED THAT IN 2022, TED GHORRA HAD TOLD VARIOUS BROOKLYN GOP EXECUTIVE MEMBERS THAT HE HAD "VETTTED" DESHKOVICH FOR A CANDIDACY FOR THE NY STATE SENATE OR THE NYS ASSEMBLY --- AND THAT HE HAD BEEN PROMISED A SPOT IF HE COULD SECURE THE SEVICES OF CERTAIN CONSULTANTS AND MEDIA VENDORS --- ALTHOUGH THOSE EXECUTIVE MEMBERS SAY THAT THEY WERE FAMILIAR WITH THE NAME OF "VLAD" DESHKOVICH BEING MENTIONED IN 2022, THEY NEVER HEARD ABOUT IT AS A DONE DEAL OR FROM GHORRA AT ALL
The Bay Ridge man who allegedly stabbed and killed his mom during an argument over money on Friday evening at around 7:30 PM was a political activist with aspirations toward elected office named Vladislav Deshkovich. According to the police, he was charged with murder Saturday after his mother Inna Deshkovich was found stabbed multiple times in the neck and body with a knife. One "friend" of Deshkovich said that DEshkovich believed that his mother was trying to poison him --- but other witnesses have said that most of their fights seemed to involve arguments about money.
Deshkovich appeared in many pix with Kagan and other Brooklyn GOP candidates and leaders, and he also created Instagram and Twitter "X" accounts for some imagined or future campaign; however, when questioned by the papers, Kagan denied that Deshkovich was one of his political operatives at all. Kagan said, “He was not my political operative.... He volunteered for me once. I met him like three times. He likes to post photos all the time....” (All of that seemed fine for Kagan though.....)
There is definitely a connection between the folks in these two cases, Vladislav Deshkovich and Brian Fox >>> and Ted GHorra and Liam McCabe would certainly know more about those connections than almost anybody else.
Meanwhile "Lurch" Barsamian was heard saying >>> "Bodies, what bodies ? Which way did they go ??? Which way did they go ?????" --- all like a real detective.....
Hard to believe that Inna Vernikov got away with her gun rap; but lately the Republican candidates and office holders have shown a real propensity to be violent to themselves and others.
