Not so fast there. Mr. Bragg

Court in NY denied Manhattan DA Bragg’s request for a  Temporary Restraining Order in Bragg's lawsuit against Jim Jordan  ---  the court even suggested that Bragg's papers did not seem to be complete

A Federal Court in Manhattan slowed down the Manhattan DA in his attempt to sue and block the congressional probe into DA Alvin Bragg, himself, his office and how he runs it, and what was/is behind the Trump indictment by Bragg

In case you missed it, yesterday, A federal court in Manhattan denied Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s request for a temporary restraining order (TRO) to prevent Republican House Judiciary Committee chairman Jim Jordan from questioning a former prosecutor under oath about the case which Bragg brought against former President Trump.

The federal case brought by Bragg is called Bragg v. Jordan, No. 23-cv-3032; and it is now venued  in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York; it is assigned to Trump-appointee Hon. Mary Kay Vyskocil, U.S.D.C. J., S.D.N.Y.

Judge Vyskocil declined to sign the Temporary Restraining Order and Order to Show Cause submitted on behalf of Bragg, but instead issued its own order that Bragg needed to effect service on the Defendants of the Complaint together with a copy of the Court's Order, the Plaintiff’s motion, and any supporting papers, on or before 9:00 PM last night.

At the same time, the court gave Chairman Jordan a deadline of April 17 at 9:00 a.m. to file any response before the final hearing on the case and the outstanding motion, whixh is now set to occur next week on April 19th.

  1. Not so fast there. Mike Ragusa is on the ballot and will be our next councilman. Ari has folded and Justin cant get off the couch.

  2. Anybody that thinks Justin is on some couch doesn'i know anything about Justin, what he does, and/or how he does his politics. That is one of the reasons the Brooklyn GOP and their so called "consultants" don't beat him, even when he's vulnerable.

In addition, Justin has lots more Republican friends than people know about; maybe more than Ari and Rags combined.

  3. Mike Ragusa is a lean mean fighting machine who supports police funding. Justin was rejected by the progressives even though he voted in 2020 to defund the police budget by 20%. And then crime went up by 35%.

  4. Justin Brannan did not vote to defund the police in 2020; and the police budget was not reduced 20%, or as muxh as most NYC agencies which were all reduced in 2020.

BTW, Ragusa needs to beat Ari before he does anything else.

  5. Ari is a defunding democrat like justin.

  6. UPDATE AND BACKFILL: THE "NOT SO FAST THERE, MR. RAGUSA" EDITION

JUST HOW A BIG A CLOWN CAR DO WE NEED FOR THE CURRENT CROP OF BROOKLYN GOP "ACTIVISTS" --- PROBABLY ONE SHORT YELLOW SCHOOL BUS WILL DO --- AS LONG AS EVERYBODY WEARS HELMETS AND THERE IS ENOUGH ABSORBENT PADDING ON THE FLOOR FOR EXCESS BODILY FLUIDS

My sources high in the wizardly administration of The Emerald City have informed me of these crazy and crazier antics at the BOE (and possibly elsewhere) --- Brian Fox thinks that he is objecting to Ragusa's petitions (don't worry, Mikey, if Foxy Loxy holds form the objections are already "FUBAR !!!")..... However, this next think is so crazy and stupid, it just has a real ring of truth to it. >>> It seems that sopmebody has put it out there that one of the subscribing witnesses on Ragusa's petition apparently forged Marty Golden's signature on the Ragusa petition. Supposed Marty is truly pissed and is going to refer the matter the District Attorney. With a quick paint job, the clown car can easily be turned into a "Paddy Wagon".....

    1. Your sources are wrong, it wasn’t Marty, however it was a current elected.

  10. Brian Fox is now and forever on the record trying to remove a real Republican, Mike Ragusa, from the ballot for the benefit of a long-term, outspoken "defund the police" Democrat activist and incumbent NY City Councilman Ari Kagan, who is rightfully hated by many in the Brooklyn GOP.

Fox has made a very bad personal political blunder showing once and for all that he is not a front line player in the Brooklyn GOP. Going forward, Fox is a mere cipher and stalking outrider beating the bushes for others, like Liam and Jenn-jenn, and looking for crumbs from Ted and Jerry.

Now Fox is only good for the occassional chit-chat in the backseat of a car like this: "... You don't understand. I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am. Let's face it... [now, I'm only good for taking] them dives for the short-end money...."

  11. Ari has been MIA. Nobody has seen Ari or any campaign for Ari. Fox filing a late objection is just Fox realizing he stepped aside for nothing.

  12. Holy Guacamole Batman. The Post has Ragusa petitions on front page and Brook the crook feels violated.

  13. The Ragu campaign's response to the sig-forgery claim is hilarious amateur-hour bloviation.

  14. What you call bloviation by Ragusa seems confused, and like a real response without any thought or preparation.

On the other hand, Brian Fox is running his face about the Ragusa-Brook-Krasny fraudulent signatures thing in the NY Post --- there are two problems with that. First, the NY Post article left out the part in the phony signature scam that directly involved Brian Fox; and second, Fox was very quick on the drawn with his posting (it's less than an hour after the article in the Post went on line a little after 3:00 PM).

Let me borrow this from Brian Fox's own words and steer them where they belong, straight at Fox himself: "These are serious allegations of fraud and If true, each instance is a felony punishable by jail time. Is Brian Fox admitting fraud was committed on Ragusa's his campaign? Who did Fox pay to commit this fraud and will Fox cooperate with the District Attorney's investigation?"

When and why did Fox file his objections to Ragusa's petition? Fox was telling folks about this scam days ago.

How did he know about it before anybod else?

How did he know it so soon?

Fox is in this too deep not to have been involved in the scam from the beginning.

  15. Fox is guilty as charged, once cheater always a cheater.

  16. 824, prove it's a scam.

    ReplyDelete
  17. "Who did Fox pay to commit this fraud"?

Oh, stop it, 8:24. And try English.

    ReplyDelete
  18. 958 & 1959, don't you know how to read? Those are a paraphrase of Brian Fox's own words. Together with the other stuff he's done, and the timeline of the forged signatures and the filings of the petition, and then the problematic Fox objections, that's the proof of Fox's part in the scam.

However, there is much more proof. That would be the Liam McCabe part in the scam.

Even before anybody had filed petitions, a top Republican executive member was complaining that Liam was doing too many different kinds of political consulting, sometimes even unethically taking jobs from more than one or the candidates for the same office at the same time. Once you find out what Liam did for everybody paying him for services in the GOP race for City Council in the 47th District in 2023, then you will see who was in a position to scam Ragusa with a poison pill of bad signatures, that were too OBVIOUSLY BAD to be a serious attempt by Ragusa to get way with a fraud.

  19. Addendum: OK, so you think it's a Liam thing.
    Fine.
    Ragu's still unfit.

  20. >>> a real Republican, Mike Ragusa >>>

  21. City & State reported the person who took the forged signature is taking the 5th

  22. RESPONSE: THE "SOME COMMENTS ARE JUST COMMENTS & OTHERS ARE FAKE NEWS FOR A PURPOSE & THERE IS SOME REAL NEWS TOO" EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAiD... AT 9:37 AM"

NOBODY IS REPORTED TO HAVE TAKEN THE 5TH..... SO, THAT IS FAKE NEWS

THE REST OF IT IS PRETTY INTERESTING THOUGH --- ESPECIALLY THE SPECULATIONS ABOUT BRIAN FOX AND LIAM MC CABE'S BEING INVOLVED IN THE PHONY SIGNATURES ON THE RAGUSA PETITIONS SCAM-SCAM

But none of it matters anymore..... MANALAPAN MIKE IS OUT OF THE RACE !!!!!

Commenter "...AT 9:37 AM" --- this is the closest that "City & State" came to anything like what you said: ".... Signed petition sheets reviewed by City & State showed that Brook-Krasny and Sepiashvili’s signatures were on petition sheets gathered by Dino Diakoumakos, a worker for the Ragusa campaign, and not Ragusa himself. Ragusa declined to make Diakoumakos available for comment...."

It's all academic though >>> the fool Mike Ragusa, aka "Manalapan Mike," is reported to have dropped out of the City Council race.
