Could it be that the 2024 Democrat and Republican nominees for President already are going head to head about whether to teach "Queer Black History" ???

In a letter to David Coleman, CEO of the "College Board," Illinois Democrat Governor J.B. Pritzker called for AP courses that would teach “black queer American” history in response to Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis rejecting AP classes about black Americans containing those and certain other elements

During a press conference this past Monday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had stated that Florida wanted “education, not indoctrination”  ---   “[In t]his course on Black history, what’s one of the lessons about? Queer theory -- that is somebody pushing an agenda on our kids....”

According to multiple reports,  the State of Florida earlier had rejected a high school Advance Placement course for African American studies. A letter earlier this month from the Florida Department of Education’s Office of Articulation informed the College Board that its approved AP course on "Black History" was “inexplicably contrary to Florida law and significantly lacks educational value....  In the future, should College Board be willing to come back to the table with lawful, historically accurate content, FDOE will always be willing to reopen the discussion....”   In addition, a spokesperson for Florida's Governor Ron DeSantis indicated that the course “... leaves large, ambiguous gaps that can be filled with additional ideological material, which we will not allow...”

In response, Democrat Gov. J.B. Pritzker of Illinois wrote this to the College Board's  CEO David Coleman:   “I am writing to you today to urge the College Board to preserve the fundamental right to an education that does not follow the political grandstanding of Governor DeSantis and the whims of Republicans in Florida....   I am extremely troubled by recent news reports that claim Governor DeSantis is pressuring the College Board to change the AP African American Studies course in order to fit Florida’s racist and homophobic laws. The  Illinois Democrat  added that he would expect that the AP courses given in his state would focus on African American studies which would “include a factual accounting of history, including the role played by black queer Americans.”

Both of these governors have been mentioned as possible candidates for their respective parties in the early going in advance of the 2024 election for POTUS.

  2. I just watched the video of Paul Pelosi and his young friend. Paul is in his black underwear when the cops arrive and he does not appear to have a problem with his young friend until he does.

  5. Could it be that Anna Belfiore-Delfaus has already resorted to hate speech in her attempt to gain a foothold in Brooklyn in her campaign to stop Michael Ragusa?

First, Facebook blocked whatever inappropriate message Anna tried posting on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at 8:11 PM.

Then, on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 11:18 AM at the same social media site, City Council Candidate Belfiore-Delfaus posted this: "... I am not a Jew, I am Catholic...."; which is a clear indicator that she intends to drain votes from Mike Ragusa and not Ari Kagan.

  6. 3:31, in twitter she self-describes as "Wife. Mom. Traditional Catholic (TLM)."

"TLM" = Tridentine Latin Mass. Which I hope just means "I like Latin better" and isn't a signal to wingers who think that every pope since VatII, excepting JPII, was/is the antichrist.
    Laughter abounds.

  11. Ragu had another incident over the weekend. Ted is getting cold feet. Ragu can't control his temper and has no personal discipline. I think the unvaccinated teacher from Staten Island gets Ted's support
