So, yesterday the faux-POTUS, Joe Biden, made his mental state a very simple choice between two equally unacceptable possibilities

 
Either Joe Biden is completely unable to grasp any facts; and express them accurately  ---  including those about himself and/or those near to him.....

--- OR ---

Joe Biden is a compulsive pathological liar about anything and everything  ---  including when those things are about himself and/or those near to him..... 

In a moment of "Stolen Valor" by proxy at the dedication of a national monument, crazy old Joe Biden said that his son Beau died in Iraq  ---  when he didn't

Yesterday,  Joe Biden appeared to incorrectly claim  that his late son, Beau Biden, “...lost his life in Iraq...”  ---  when in fact, that is not how Beau Biden died.  While giving a speech in Colorado to designate Camp Hale a national monument, President Biden discussed  many sacrifices that soldiers have made, and then cited his very own son Beau as an example. This is exactly what he said about it:  "....  Just imagine — I mean it sincerely — I say this as a father of a man who won the Bronze Star, the conspicuous service medal, and lost his life in Iraq. Imagine the courage, the daring, and the genuine sacrifice — genuine sacrifice they all made.....” 

Although Joe Biden’s son Beau did serve in Iraq in 2008 & 2009 as a JAG Officer in the Delaware National Guard, Beau Biden did not die there;  he died of brain cancer in 2015.

At least Joe Biden didn't shout out to the crowd at the Camp Hale event,  “Beau, are you here? Where’s Beau?”
