Every active Republican out there --- next they will be investigating you for some crime or other

In advance of the 2022 general election,  the Albany County DA is conducting a criminal investigation of the Zeldin Campaign's submission of over 10,000 fraudulent signatures in an alleged Republican-engineered attempt to secure another ballot line for Lee Zeldin and other GOP candidates in the November election for Governor of the State of New York and other statewide races

It is being alleged that  >>>  Republican Party headquarters in Albany was used as the factory of a fraudulent GOP petitioning scheme to secure the virtually defunct "Independence Party" line   ---  that has since sparked a major controversy  ---  and more important  >>> a Democrat-led set of criminal investigations

Complicating things for the New York State GOP, Zeldin, and the Zeldin Campaign  >>>  Zeldin campaign spokesperson Jessica Proud already has made significant admisssions concerning by whom, how, where, when, and why it was all done  >>>  making one wonder if she might actually be a "mole" and "agent provocateur" for the New York Democrat Deep State in Albany, and elsewhere around the Empire State

According to a report in today's AlbanyTimes-Union  ---  "State Republican Party headquarters in Albany served as a final hub of a dubious petitioning effort that's since sparked controversy and a Democrat-led call for a criminal investigation....  The petitioning centered on statewide Republican candidates seeking to run on an additional, key ballot line in the November election by reviving the moribund state Independence Party. This spring, the GOP attempted a massive petitioning effort, spearheaded in part by the Republican gubernatorial campaign of U.S. Rep. Lee Zeldin of Long Island....  [Of 52,000 signatures] submitted, more than 11,000 were determined by the Board of Elections to be xeroxed copies of other, original signatures within those same records. The copied pages were interspersed in a manner leading some election experts to conclude their inclusion may have been intentional, possibly to inflate the number of signatures to surpass the daunting new threshold of 45,000 valid signatures for upstart state parties to gain ballot access...."  ( See "
Suspect petitions were assembled at NY Republican headquarters....  The more than 900 photocopied pages were all placed within the final 10 of the 47 volumes submitted...."  (See "Suspect petitions were assembled at NY Republican headquarters..."  by Chris Bragg, 8/16/2022, Albany Times-Union/ State      [https://www.timesunion.com/state/article/Troubled-petitions-were-assembled-at-NY-17372685.php]).

HOCHUL'S CAMPAIGN TIES THIS ALLEGATION OF ELECTION FRAUD DIRECTLY TO HER OPPOSING GOP CANDIDATE FOR GOVERNOR  ---  LEE ZELDIN

The Chris Bragg article also specifically noted the following:  ".... The incident has also fueled political fallout, with Gov. Kathy Hochul's campaign issuing a statement last week claiming, "Lee Zeldin is now implicated in an actual case of alleged election fraud, and this time it's real. New Yorkers deserve to know how more than 11,000 photocopied petition signatures were submitted on behalf of Zeldin’s campaign and who oversaw the process."

  1. If Republican candidates Brian Fox and Vito LaBella are smart, they will shut down their campaigns immediately.

The Brooklyn DA probably has investigators out there already looking for any criminality that might pop up in their Republican operations. And look out, the Conservative Party leaders have cooperated with the Brooklyn DA in the past.

  2. Jessica Proud did more than make "significant admissions". She gave the Albany DA a roadmap for an indictment.

  3. Jessica Proud did more than make "significant admissions" and give "the Albany DA a roadmap for an indictment"; she gave the Albany DA clear and exclusive jurisdiction in the case, ahead of any GOP DAs in any countires where the original signaturew might have been gathered, and arguably the 41 volume petition could have been "cleaned" and "bound."

  5. Brooklyn Democrat State Senator Zellnor Myrie started all of these investigations by asking Albany County District Attorney David Soares to investigate the Independence Party petitioning effort by several high level Republican operatives in NYS. A key statement by State Senator Myrie is this: ".... It is clear the Zeldin campaign perpetrated a fraud [with alleged facts that would be evidence of the fraud].... What is unknown and must be investigated by your office is who committed these criminal acts."

So far, the following top GOP operatives have been mentioned as having been involved in the fraudulent Indepedence Party line petition on behalf of Lee Zeldin and other GOP candidates: Eric Amidon; John Haggerty; Nick Langworthy; and of course, Jessica Proud has put herself into the middle of this, and she needs to be interrogated to determine the source of her knowledge about the GOP-Zeldin petition to get Zeldin and other GOP candidates onto the Independence Party line.

  9. UPDATE & BACKFILL: THE "USAG MERRICK GARLAND DRAGGED KICKING & SCREAMING" EDITION

ACCORDING TO THE WALL STREET JOURNAL, THIS EVENING --- MERRICK GARLAND WEIGHED [THE] SEARCH OF TRUMP'S MAR-A-LAGO FOR WEEKS"

The U.S. Attorney General took his usual deliberative approach to the Mar-a-Lago smash and grab by the FBI. Garland's deliberations had been the subject of weeks of meetings between senior Justice Department and FBI officials. The warrant the DOJ and FBI were seeking would allow agents to seize all classified information and other relevant presidential material from the Trump residence at Mar-a-Lago.

Now, or certainly soon, Mr. Garland will face an even more momentous decision that will likely further exacerbate the nation's trauma in this already unprecedented and politically fraught situation --- whether the USAG should allow the DOJ to pursue charges against Mr. Trump and/or any of his agents over their handling of the records at issue and their interactions with Justice Department officials seeking to retrieve them leading up to the actual raid of August 8th. Such a decision to bring charges in a case against President Donald Trump and/or any of Trump's associates would thrust the Justice Department deeper into a political morass, in which many of the President’s supporters and Republican lawmakers are already accusing Mr. Garland, the DOJ, and the FBI of overreach.

Justice Department officials have defended the Mar-a-Lago search as a necessary step approved by Mr. Garland himself. Some of those familiar with the DOJ’s approach have said a primary goal of the search was to ensure the security of highly sensitive national-security documents after the Trump team didn’t relinquish them and amid concerns that the security of the material at Mar-a-Lago had been put at risk. After months of negotiations with Trump lawyers, the DOJ decided to search Mar-a-Lago after receiving information from "an FBI source" as well as surveillance footage from the resort that appeared to show that certain materials weren’t securely stored, according to people familiar with the case.

  11. RESPONSE: THE "YOU DON'T SERIOUSLY BELIEVE..." EDITION

TO: "ANONYMOUS SAID... AT 10:37 AM"

WE ARE TALKING ABOUT JESSICA PROUD HERE..... TAKE WHAT SHE HAS DONE SUCCESSFULLY AND PUT IT IN A COLUMN ON ONE SIDE OF THE PAGE --- THEN TAKE WHAT SHE HAS COMPLETELY SCREWED UP AND PUT IT IN A COLUMN ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE PAGE --- IF YOU KNOW HER AND ARE HONEST, THE COLUMN OF SCREW-UPS IS MUCH LARGER BY A VERY WIDE MARGIN

THIS RECENT PUBLIC STATEMENT BY JESSICA PROUD AS LEE ZELDIN'S CAMPAIGN SPOKESPERSON >>> IS RANK STUPIDITY, OR FIREABLE INCOMPETENCE, OR BOTH COMBINED --- ON THE OTHERHAND, JESSICA PROUD'S STATEMENT MIGHT HAVE BEEN INTENTIONAL DISLOYALTY TO ZELDIN IN PARTICULAR, SOMEBODY IN THE LEADERSHIP OF THE NYS GOP ORGANIZATION, AND/OR THE NYS GOP ORGANIZATION GENERALLY --- ANOTHER POSSIBLIITY IS THAT COLD CASH OR SOME FUTURE CONSIDERATION WAS PART OF THE DEAL TO GET JESSICA TO BE SO VERBALLY INCONTINENT [A PROMISE OF NON-PROSECUTION OF A GOP-INSIDER MALEFACTOR CAN BE VERY VALUABLE INDEED, ESPECIALLY IN THESE TIMES]

We in this independent GOP blog for Brooklyn & Staten Island have watched and heard things about Jessica Proud for a long time --- she has a long and checkered local history --- and not much of it is very good. If ever she was on the side of the angels, she became a fallen angel a very long time ago --- and the graph of her rise in the GOP is in perfect parallel to the graph of the GOP's descent in NYC and NYS.

It isn't paranoid to look at a palpable piece of evidence, add it to what other things you know, and conclude that >>> Jessica Proud's history of failure and incompetence might well have been monetized by Jessica and/or weaponized by others, and "she might actually be a 'mole' and 'agent provocateur' for the New York Democrat Deep State".....

  13. She pretty much admitted that the Lee Zeldin campaign for governor and the NYS Repulican Party committed election fraud by trying to steal a spot on the Independence Party line.
